Horrible service. Food bland. Waitress did not have people skills. Got my order wrong, didn’t apologize. Just blamed it on the cook. And said i won’t charge you for that. Rather then saying she would have them Make me what i ordered. Then… our bill came. Guess what was on it? Still charged me for the food i didn’t ask for. I should have tipped her a penny for being so unfriendly. Besides that, the floor was disgusting. Eggs all over. My mug was broken and still they filled it with coffee.

We had our first visit a couple of days after Christmas. We ordered the corned beef reuben and the eggs Benedict served with grilled corn bread, tender pulled pork, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce with a serving of authentic and yum hash browns. The food is excellent! And the service is charming. Lily is unflappable and hard working and sooo sweet in spite of being very busy. We are so glad we stopped in. We arrived at 11:45 for lunch and within a few minutes the place was slammed. I hope this unique gem sticks around for a long, long time.(Grouchy people should stay away from Narberth Diner)

Too bad because Narberth needs a better diner. The food is so so, its just not well managed and it shows with slow, sloppy service, tables left un-bussed and average food. I hope they get it together.

Small, quiet place with everything you’d expect in a diner. Tons of options. Has very unique and original Coca Cola artwork as well as drawings of local landmarks. Got the Corn Beef special which is as good as you’d find in any Jewish deli. Price is very reasonable! Will return!

We very badly want to like the Narberth Diner since we can walk here. The food is good — I haven’t had a complaint from that perspective. The issue is they are SLOW. It took 40 minutes today to get 2 omelettes. It was somewhat busy, but nothing came out in a reasonable amount of time. If you don’t mind a wait, I recommend it, but if you have a young child bring lots of entertainment.

Cheap standard breakfast food. Eggs, toast, scrapple, hash browns, and coffee for $ 6. Nothing spectacular, but solid and reasonably priced.

This is a very good restaurant at a great price. I’m sure it would be more heavily attended if it had outdoor seating. The service is fine entrées were good. I went with my son and we both enjoyed our entrées.

We came here for a nice brunch on the weekend and tried out this new diner in Narbeth. The diner’s is fairly new however the interior and the décor of the diner is not remodeled. The food is pretty good. We got chicken and waffle and a lux with egg and bagel. The lux was not impressive but I recommand the chicken and waffle.

I read so many great Unilocal reviews but was disappointed when I walked in to find all the open tables to be dirty and the service to very slow. While my vegetable omelette was good I do not think it was worth the extensive wait and poor service.

Really wanted to love this place given the need for a diner and breakfast place in Narberth. We came in during the late morning on a Sunday. Was impressed with breadth of the menu and was optimistic at the beginning. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. While I understand it’s peak brunch time, there’s no excuse for the food taking more than 45 – 60 minutes to come out for an omelet, a chicken wrap, and some chicken tenders and fries with nothing to snack on. Would have done much better going to Sabrina’s in Wynnewood or Kettle in Havertown. Our waitress was sweet and well meaning, but looked overwhelmed. The omelet was decent but I had ordered egg whites and received a regular omelet, and the toast never even came even though I pointed this out. The chicken wrap and chicken tenders were average. Will wait a little while for service to work out its kinks before giving it another shot.

Just what Narberth needs! The Narberth Diner has the huge menu of an all-night NJ diner combined with a quaint and pleasant neighborhood coffeeshop. And better prices! It brings together great bagels, matzoball soup, and brisket with healthy salads, burgers, and unique always-available breakfast creations. And there are a number of vegetarian options. The dinner specials for $ 9.99 can’t be beat. The crème broulet cheesecake matched all the best cheesecakes in the world. What made the experience all the more pleasant was the sweet, friendly, and casual manner of our waitress, likely an owner, who was patient in our moments of confusion and generous with her efforts to please. What a pleasant discovery for a working family wanting a dinner together which pleases each individual’s taste without the formality of a bar restaurant. The wall-full of minion drawings by young customers was fun and timely given the movie with the same name at the Narberth Movie Theater next door!

We really want to love or even like this place, since it’s walking distance. We have been here half a dozen times since it opened and every time try so hard to find a positive so we can return. However… Recurring problems: The hash browns taste still frozen even if you ask for them well done. Meals rarely come out at the same time.(Didn’t get my toast until my entire party was finished their breakfast. And waitress rolled eyes when we reminded her about said toast). Getting a waitress to check in on the meal(do you need anything? Did it come out ok? Refill on your coffee?) or offer a check at meal’s end is impossible. I don’t doubt the owners and managers mean well and are trying. But we are sad we have to consistently try so hard to like this place!

Updating my review. Having had the corned beef sandwich, made with lean corned beef, the potato salad, and cole slaw, I love this place. Forget Murray’s and Hymie’s — Narberth Diner is better! Friendly people, great service, all-around good deli and American food. LOVE!

Nice little diner. I would give it 5 stars, but the facility itself was underwhelming — I assume they’re remodeling. However, the food definitely made it worth it! I got chicken and waffles and man oh man oh man. The chicken tenders were fantastic. The Belgium waffles was huge! Also had onion rings for appetizer, it was nice and very cheap — in the best way possible! I really like this place, but I hope they fix up the room soon.

This is a perfect little diner. All the things you want on a diner menu and at a great price! The dinner specials are a great option as 10 $ gets you a nice house salad, a pretty tasty selection of entrees(my wife loved the egg plant parm and so did our 2 year old!) and a pretty tasty rice pudding or ice cream. We weren’t drinking that evening so we didn’t byob but we will certainly be back for some short stacks during breakfast!

What a cute, small town diner! Of course, I love food and had such a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat so the owner recommended the meatloaf and the brisket. Thank goodness my husband was there, we ordered both items. The meatloaf and brisket were amazing! So delicious and the perfect portion! If you’re craving a home cooked meal with little or NO effort, I hope you find your way to the Narberth Diner. My sister-in-law met me there, tried the meatloaf and packed some for her husband!
