Food was great but service not friendly. Unusual for this otherwise terrific restaurant.

I tried this place while traveling for business. The atmosphere, the service, and oysters all get a 5+. However, the rest of the food was tired, and seemed like it might be a couple days old. Not what I’m looking for in my seafood. I would not recommend.

Had a table on the front patio by the fire pit-casual but romantic. The perfect setting. The food was out of this world. The owner stopped by our table twice and was extremely pleasant and one hell of a dresser. Can’t wait to go back.

This is the bar of the Bay House restaurant and it has both menus available. We had a seafood tower that was amazing. Excellent sauces are served in cute little mason jars, as are several appetizers! All of the seafood was cooked to perfection — well, except the plump and delicious raw oysters! The restaurant was packed on a Wednesday night and the live music is a nice treat.

Been coming here for years! Never had a bad meal:) get the spare rib Mac n cheese, the mason jars(all of them are good especially the pimento cheese and the seafood salad) and I ALWAYS get the tuna tartare w salt water cucumbers and candied ginger.

The ambience, the food, the service, the live music, everything is 10 out of 10! Whenever I have guests we usually end up making a visit to the Bayhouse/Clawbar! The menus are a little different and so is the scene, but both restaurants are attached to one another. Everything I have eaten here had been hands down amazing! It’s a little pricey, but then again it is one of the nicest restaurants in Naples. I always end up taking a few photos out on the balcony because it’s such a beautiful backdrop. If you haven’t tried the Claw bar or the Bayhouse yet, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and try your new favorite Naples restaurant! :)

Dinner for 2. — Ambiance(4⁄5) Awesome, upscale tavern style feel. I personally enjoyed the music, though it might not be for everyone. And, the raw bar area was spacious and fun to watch the chefs prep our raw seafood. One minor demerit for the really bright orange claw bar sign hanging over our heads– made all the food look orange, which was quite a shame considering the brilliant presentation. — Service(5⁄5) Speedy and courteous throughout the night. — Florida Gold Cocktail, $ 10(5⁄5) Smooth and balanced. I could have had 2. — Stone Crab Claws, 1 lb, $ 41(4⁄5) Delicious and sweet. These were medium sized claws. Not cracked as cleanly as I would have liked. I’m not supposed to have to work hard for the meat. — Marinated Blue Crab Claws, $ 6(2⁄5) Delicious in theory but a bit… sandy. Perhaps it suffered since we were eating this side by side with the stone crab. — Crab Bisque, $ 10(5⁄5) Really creamy, delicate bisque with true lumps of crab meat. Absolutely delicious. — Gulf Yellowtail Snapper, $ 30(5⁄5) Seared so spectacularly with great, crispy skin. I did not know yellowtail could taste so good and now understand why charter boats go after yellowtail with such fervor. If I only I had known sooner. — Value(4⁄5) Found the drink and the blue crab claws to be a bit expensive, but found everything else to be fairly priced. — Final Word Definitely found a go-to spot in Naples. Great, fresh seafood. And just a nice dash of inventiveness and superb execution. Blue crab claws aside, this meal was spectacular, and I must rate it as such. 5 stars. Bravo.

It would have been helpful to know that this was the bar of the Bay House– it was described as a stand alone place. The food was good, but more than we expected to pay-We both ordered from the prix fixe menu(I had shrimp and grits, my husband had catfish-my biggest complaint was the tails on the shrimp– always hard to remove when covered in sauce. Our server was great and helpful.

We’ve sat in Tierney’s Claw Bar several times. The service is excellent. Jennifer is professional and makes you feel right at home. We especially like the stonecrab claws when in season and always enjoy the oysters and large shrimp. If you’re not hungry for a meal and want more than an appetizer, try their mussels. They are steamed right in front of you and are delicious.

Hidden gem indeed! Fantastic seafood, the best stone crab I’ve had in Fla and great warm service. We’ll be regulars for now on. Carlos our server was gracious and welcoming, even asked if we wanted dessert even after our dinner lingered beyond closing time.

A hidden gem down a side street. Wouldn’t know it was there if hadn’t found it on Unilocal.Signature crazily fried oysters amazing. Better than cape cod, and that’s saying a lot. Grilled tavern filet. Twice baked potato cake. Cauliflower purée. 2 garlic Sauces. Heaven! Live music. Heavy on beatles but also america van Morrison 70’s stuff. So much fun. If I was staying longer would visit again.

Thank you Unilocal for this great find. We ate in the tavern and it was casual and highly organized. The food was over the top! Ever eaten corn pudding with fennel pollen w/golden raisin purée’. Desert was brown butter cake with organic strawberries topped with white chocolate ice cream. Best dinner yet at a reasonable price!

I haven’t been to the Bay House in years and was pleasantly surprised by the changes that were made since my last visit. The restaurant was less«stuffy», the deck on the river is beautiful and the low-country inspired menu is extensive and ambitious! We enjoyed the following delicious food: crab dip in a mason jar, peel and eat shrimp, fried green tomatoes, lobster and lump crab«potholes», bay house salad and the lemon meringue ice box for dessert. Our server, Nick, and the whole wait staff were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back!

The hidden gem of Naples, Florida. The claw bar stands out because it isn’t touristy; it’s got a bayou atmosphere, southern hospitality, excellent food and even live music. Atmosphere: The restaurant is like walking into a speakeasy in an upscale swamp; it sits off 41, but you’d never know it. Choose from indoor seating with a view of a pond, or outdoor seating featuring string lights and a large fire pit. Everyone was very down-to-earth; most people seemed like locals rather than the tourists that crowd the well-known restaurants of the area. Food: Peel and eat shrimp, cornbread, crab bisque and homemade pickels that will rock your world. The shrimp and grits entrée from the bar menu was especially delicious. The lobster risotto appetizer special was tasty, but didn’t live up to the other food or $ 19 price, so choose wisely. I regret not ordering grilled oysters which were being prepared carefully outside the front door. Live Music: Very legit music; tonight was a bluegrass-style band doing covers including hotel california. If you’re not in the mood to eat, this is a great spot to grab a cocktail.

First time in Naples! My wife and I are Miami locals and I rarely take the time to write reviews about restaurant we go to! We decided to give this one a try and what a treat it was! Our server Paul was great, he gave us our space but yet brought everything we needed as we asked! We stayed at the raw bar and everything from stone claws to shrimps to Jonah claws where sublime! For dessert we enjoyed the goat cheesecake with grapefruit gelee which was my all time favorite! Thank you for an awesome experience we will be back!!! P.s hard to find place but well worth it!!!
