Splash Paint & Wine

Purchased the groupon for my mother and I (55 $ for 2). Then had to pay full price for the third ticket (35 $), it was a little more pricey than back in New York. But what a fun experience, the artist was fabulous and I learned so much while having so much fun. I would definitely recommend it to others!

Had a great time at painting class. Instructor was easy going, fun and took the time for everyone in the class to do what they had to do. I’ve heard of other paint classes, where if you didn’t catch the instruction, the instructor just kept going and you were left behind. This was not that! Friendly atmosphere, had a couple beers, my friend had a bottle of wine. Just had a great time!

Great times. Awesome instruction fun to do with family or friends. Awesome staff!!!

Four of us went last night. We had an incredible time! Astrid, Dave, and Pamela are helpful, funny, and very engaging. This is something really different and fun to do. There’s no such thing as a bad painting! You can BYO or purchase theirs at great prices. I’ve never held a brush and my painting of the Naples Pier is a masterpiece! Gather a group and prepare for a fun, memorable evening!

Had an awesome time at the sports painting with my husband. It took us longer than expected but Astrid and Pam sat and talked with us, not caring one bit how late it was! Will be returning again soon! Highly recommend!

There are many firms in the Naples area that offer painting classes and a bit of booze to ease the mood. Most have well selected painting subjects, excellent guidance and create a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, Splash Paint and Wine is not one of them.
The offered painting sample was dark and murky. The instructor did not produce as good a picture as my daughter, perhaps not even as good as mine. There was no humor in her voice, nothing in her demeanor to indicate fun and no amount of wine could change it. The leader did little to advise and half heartily walked the room. Her instruction was limited and generally useless. All of her instruction was done in front of her board so we couldn’t see what she was doing and she gave little clue as to how to proceed. She gave no direct instruction when walking the room.
One particular downfall was the long time it took to complete the painting. Much of the evening was spent waiting for paint to dry. Although they had some drying fans, it took up at least a third of the night, at least twice as long as other venues. If we were all laughing it wouldn’t have matter, but this was no laughing matter. Instead it was just boring.
Overall, the staff was OK. They did not skimp on giving you as much paint as you needed and seemed friendly. If only some of them could design the projects and actually paint.

We had an amazing time:) It was our first time so we were not sure what to expect but it was a great date idea. The owners were very hands on and we had great conversations with them. It was worth every penny and a great expereience.

I was here last evening and had a wonderful time. Very friendly and informative. I will definitely be going back.

Had a wonderful evening with Trish and Pam at Splash yesterday! The studio is huge, the people are friendly and accommodating. No stress painting in a relaxed atmosphere. No crowding either! plenty of room around you to stand up and move around your painting. Relaxing sofa area to sip wine and wait for things to dry! Thank you ladies!
