Potato pancake platter…2 days in a row, loved it! The bananas foster crepes were fabulous! They change the flavors of the scones every 2 days. The scones are a must. You’ll want to come back 2 days in a row too!

A little overrated. Food is good but average. Service might be good when they’re busy. Midmorning the service was spotty. Would be my second choice for breakfast.

Three letters: O-M-G! I found this place because of the wonderful Unilocal, of course. It was .5 miles from my hotel and thank God because boy was I hungry! I am not a huge fan of breakfast, but I am a sucker for eggs benedict, and this place did not disappoint, no sir it did not! I ordered – their Salmon eggs benedict with a side of their house fries with gravy and a side of fruit, and a waffle – Don’t judge me. I told you I was hungry. I would recommend getting one to share because it’s pretty big. Oh, I also ordered their freshly squeezed orange juice and it was amazing. Their décor reminded me of a house in the country, and I’ve never felt more at home at a restaurant while eating breakfast. Cheesy, huh? Next time I am in town, I will for sure pass by. NOTES: breakfast and lunch served all day. Well, until they close. & they close early.

Enjoyed the breakfast today. Corned Beef Hash Skillet breakfast. Loaded with home fries under it. VG! Can opt for a scone, biscuit or banana bread instead of toast. One complaint… coffee had a weak flavor.

Wondering where we were going to go this morning and this was the closest. Mmm great pick! I had the pecan encrusted French toast plus two poached eggs. I’m just into French toast lately. It was delicious and way too much! I took one slice with. They have the smaller order and should have had that. It’s larger side bread that is one n half size of normal toast! But good. I used the yummy Marionberry preserves that was on the table and it was perfectly fruity and nutty, no syrup. Hubby had Salsilido half salad with a side of choc chip scone and a side of corned beef hash. He said the salad tasted very green. It was nice to have fresh greens not watery. He just had to try it! It was $ 7.50 and a good side to try instead of the regular order which was $ 12ish. Our waitress was great, Sylvia. Brought the carafe of ice tea on the side after the boys first glass! Nice. May come back this week again while here!

Caution: Overpriced southern brunch Corned hash skillet– Well seasoned and caramelized hash. Problem: Smaller serving than expected, bland grits, fruit cup essentially canned, dry, and sugary. Dish is served on ceramic plate and not on hot plate skillet, losing its«hot skillet» appeal and came out cold. Misleading and overpriced; just order the corned hash by itself. Homemade Apple cinnamon scone– cold brick with sprinkled sugar and small slivers of apple. Scones are precooked earlier and left out uncovered until ordered by customer. Heated using a hamburger bun heater. At least cover them in a warm oven with a towel over it. Positives: Waffles are soft and buttery. Eggs and pancakes are good, but overpriced for what it’s worth.

Due to my drinking habits I am particularly not one for breakfast but I have to say that Skillets is making me reevaluate myself. The food is top notch & the service is stellar. Jack is the best. I know that the breakfast industry is is turn & burn but they have it down to a science. They knock out quality food in no time yet don’t rush you to leave. If I may make a recommendation, the French Omelet, their house blend coffee & all of this served by Jack. Great local breakfast, served by a local that has been recognized by the Perry awards, three times, perhaps more if I’m not mistaken.

We were in town for a wedding and was looking for a place to have breakfast. We found this place on Unilocal and we were not disappointed. The menu was extensive, staff was extremely friendly and the food was fressh and cooked to order. The ONLY thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the lack of healthier selections. There was only two dishes that were on the healthy section, but you can order chicken sausage with your meals. The restaurant can fill up quickly and the service will slow, so be patient, it’s worth it.

My girlfriend and I decided to go out for breakfast before shopping, and this was very close by. What a surprise. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, and it was good. The bacon and hash browns were absolutely excellent. I found the crepes to be sweet, plentiful, and fabulous. My girlfriend’s corned beef hash was excellent. We have already returned several times!

Skillets is a pretty decent breakfast. My issue is that the food came out lukewarm. Breakfast items like waffles and eggs are delicate and really unappealing when not hot. Aside from that, the waffle was very tasty. I would definitely come back and try one of the breakfast skillets.

The small space of the place cost the one star, but the food definitely made up for it! I ordered coffee and orange juice; coffee was really good and orange juice was freshly squeezed. I also ordered the veggie skillet. I replaced goat cheese with their cheddar and jack cheese and for the eggs I asked for it poached. Delicious all throughout, definitely devoured it!

We ate here today and definitely not impressed. Sat outside and service was horrendous. There was 6 or so tables outside and every table had a different server… This method is so maddening, why not put one server on for the outside, instead of splitting between numerous servers, all this does is cause bad service for all outdoor patrons. Also, the pricing is astronomical for what you get. One slice, not two slices of bread with your $ 10-$ 12 breakfast entrée. Don’t understand why people go here???

The service was great. Food was good, and portions were perfect. Their home fries are amazing, a cream cheesy hash with a little scallion. Never had it like that before! Next time we’re Naples we hope to have it again :)

Mmmm breakfast… While in Naples a few weekends ago, via Unilocal I stumbled upon Skilletz. I had a sense it would be a good find being that there was a wait. Eventually we were seated and the fun began. Before we sat down, I noticed on their menu the mention of, «everything made from scratch». That’s when I knew I was in for a real treat. The feel of the diner is a little different than most. It has almost a log cabin/country kitchen kind of feel. A lot of wood everywhere from the walls and beams to the flooring. It’s not bad by any means, it sort of has that Cracker Barrel type of feel, but this place runs circles around Cracker Barrel. We had a very sweet waitress who gave us the specials. Let us know again that everything, even the scones are made from scratch. I ordered potato pancakes which were amazing. Three big pancakes with a large side of apples and helping of sour cream. Delightful. The eggs were cooked to my liking and the rye toast was great too. Everything was exceptional. Hopefully I can get myself back over to Naples soon to give this place another try. My only regret was I didn’t get a scone. Looks like I’ve found my reason!

In need of a quick breakfast before a lacrosse tournament, and wanting something a bit more substantial than our usual Dunkin Donuts, we used trusted Unilocal to find Skillets. At this homey looking place, the service was fast & friendly and the food was solid and reasonably priced. 10 year old had the Brussels Waffles($ 7.50). They were okay, but they tasted almost too healthy. My eggs, grits, & toast($ 6.50) were good. One if the more unusual items that 8 year old ordered was the Oatmeal Brûlée: steel cut Irish oatmeal with nuts & fruit. It was really good. The biscuit that came with it was not as healthy but tasted even better! Other breakfast items include crepes, potato pancakes, frittatas, blintzes, burritos, benedicts, you name it! Skillets also has a lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, paninis, wraps, & soups. The most expensive item on the menu is $ 12. On the menu I see Skillets has four other west coast locations. I would love to see one in my neighborhood. With good food, great service, & reasonable prices, it would be a great addition. Plus, am I nuts, or do their waffles look like the Unilocal burst?
