Overall, my wife and I had a very good experience. The service(unlike the experience of other reviewers) was excellent. From the hostess to the waitstaff, everyone was very friendly and our courses were delivered quickly. The cocktails we ordered were excellent. We had the bbq shrimp(wrapped in bacon) that was very good. In fact, it could have been better without the bbq sauce. The wedge and chopped salads were also very good. The NY Strip and Rib-eye steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The steak fries were nothing special. There were two problems that dropped this from a five to a four star review. First, no draft beer. They do have bottles, but the selection is somewhat limited. Second, for a party of two, they automatically added a 20% gratuity. I understand the need for doing that with large parties, but two people? Also, the tip was calculated to include the tax. Very strange.

Not a fan. My chicken was inedible so should have ordered the burger as my happier dining companions had. What a lousy server. He’s yucking it with the cute hostesses while I have to go find him to place our orders. This, in an empty restaurant, no less. My group dines out once a week and I even decided I’d forego my friends’ companionship so that I wouldn’t ever have to go back here again. A big nothing.

We won’t be returning to Shulas. Service was awful. We waited over an hour for our food. After an hour, I asked waitress when food would be coming out– she said they had a party and that our food was being plated now. Ten minutes later got food– steak was ok-, lobster tail was good; mac’n’cheese was over cooked and we didn’t see any crab. When we complained the waitress sent over manager(didn’t introduce herself) who told us that when they seated us, they didn’t know food would take so long– ok, I believe that, but after ½ hour– acknowledge its taking too long and offer us something, or apologize an offer to take something off of bill. I agree with previous poster who said this place would not make it if it wasn’t in the Hilton. Very, very poor service and bad management. WON’T be returning and will be spreading the word.

As Gold Hilton Honors member, I received vouchers for a complimentary breakfast as Shula’s, the restaurant within the Hilton Naples, while staying on property. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is luxe, as steakhouses often are. Service was efficient and the food was great. The first morning I sampled the Vegetable Frittata, essentially an open-face omlette, with ample vegetables. The Frittata was also served with breakfast potatoes and a Provencal tomato. The second morning I had a serving of pancakes which were light and airy. One was a bit dark, not quite burnt and seemed to have been«hidden» within the stack. Overall they were great. I would definitely enjoy breakfast here again!

Bartender Eric made me the best freaking martini I have had in a very long time. I didn’t eat any food but the service at the bar was excellent! Ask for the blue cheese olives.

We celebrated my birthday at Shula’s and everything was great, the food, the service and the staff were very attentive. The only problem is the chairs in the dining room were awful had to have one of the chairs at our table removed for fear of falling through to the floor. While we were eating our meal I started noticing that other people were also having problems with their chairs and at one of the other tables your staff actually brought in bed pillows for the guest to sit on because the seats. What an embarrassing situation to have such a high end restaurant bring in bed pillows from the hotel so your guest can sit in their chairs. At the prices you charge don’t you think you could replace the seats. My suggestion is get new chairs for the restaurant ASAP!

This was a birthday celebration went there with my son and husband. Tablecloth was dirty, we had to tell the waiter to change it. The tablecloth underneath the top tablecloth was dirty too. We didn’t know who our waiter was, one waiter took our drink order and our dinner order and then another was the waiter that brought out the dinner and assisted us for the remainder of the night. There is no ambiance, it’s one big noisy room, really loud. Difficult to hear others at your own table. My steak and my husband’s steak both overcooked, they don’t know what a warm red center is. In addition my steak I ordered a New York strip with the bone in, was the worst tasting steak I could have ever imaged. It tasted like it was old beef. I couldn’t eat it and told the manager, and even though he took it off our bill he appeared to have an attitude in regards to my complaint. Several times we were interrupted while we were having a conversation to be asked about the food. Manager came over early in the evening to ask how everything was, but interrupted us while we were talking. They don’t seem to know that you never interrupt you diners while they are in conversation. And this is fine dinning, I think not!!!

The service was terrible. The day before Valentine’s Day… they had tables so close together. Yet I was closer the the guy next to me on either side then my date. And we could not have a conversation, but I could with the strangers next to me. We ordered a bottle of Pellegrino they bring me a dirty glass and fill it up. I asked for a new glass and got attitude from the waiter eye roll and all. Not to mention he didnt show his face at our table for 15⁄20 min just to get a drink order! …Very disappointed, service is much better at Chic fil A. Chic fil A gets 5 stars

This was our first trip to Shulas(and putting aside we are NOT Dolphins fans) we had a great experience. Friends had mixed reviews ‘overpriced’ ‘great happy hour’ ‘food so-so’ so we didn’t know what to expect. It was our anniversary and this was our back-up plan in case there was a wait at our usual restaurant. Our regular anniversary place only had a 15 minute wait but we decided to be adventurous and try something new. Good choice. Free valet parking. Service outstanding. Even the manager came over and asked us how everyone was going and he was carrying trays too. Initially not too busy, it filled up fast. No kids. Bonus on our anniversary. I used Unilocal free martini coupon and luckily was able to substitute another drink. Couple next to us found a buy one get one coupon somewhere — can’t believe we missed that! The food was delicious! We ordered and split the 24 oz porterhouse which was too much even though we split it. The appetizer of lobster bisque and Caesar salad also yummy. Sides were asparagus and baked potato — also split and too much to finish. We would have received a complimentary cake for our dessert but substituted the molten cake for it at a small cost and both looked good and ours was delicious! The only complaint is that they charged regular price for dessert but quickly and without question adjusted the bill. Our first server told us $ 3 but it ended up $ 7 and since we were not charged for the coke we let it go. Coffee was Starbucks and very good. The bathrooms were nothing to shout out about, just average. Overall the design of the restaurant was nice like he steakhouses you see on HGTV or travel channel. As for the cost, the only other steak house we were in was in Las Vegas and that was MUCH more money overall we had a great time and would go back, maybe next anniversary or happy hour/if we found a special. We didn’t think the prices were outrageous.

Overall very good experience. Wife and I started with the BBQ Shrimp app. Very tasty. Perhaps a tad over cooked but still very good. We both had the 8oz filets. Both steaks were excellent. Best steak I’ve had recently. In the last few months we’ve been to Capital Grille in Sarasota, The Palm in Orlando and Bones in Atlanta. Shula’s steak was better than all the rest. SIde dishes of asparagus and au gratin potatoes were very good also. We has the carrot cake desert which was a little dry for our liking. Overall very pleasant dinner for two…

As a Hilton guest(absolutely top notch hotel by the way), I had the opportunity to eat a couple breakfast meals at Shula’s. Pretty basic fare, but that is usually when exceptional kitchen skills have the best chance to differentiate great versus good. Eggs, breakfast meats, french toast were all just«good». Table service was very good, but the kitchen was overtaxed as evidenced by the brutal wait for food to come out. The main reason writing here is the weekend Hostess. She was snotty and displayed none of the traits that any restaurant should accept from someone making a first impression with guests. Even minimal effort at a smile or eye contact would have helped. Wow. When I experience things like poor hostessing, It tells me that management is clueless. In a restaurant at the price point of Shula’s, that is inexcusable. Dinner service, undoubtedly what steakhouses are generally all about, may be better, but I don’t know since we took our business elsewhere.

The Naples Grande Beach Resort failed us on pretty much everything including not telling us their main restaurant was closed. The meal was great but even better was the service. It nearly made up for our poor experience at the Naples Grande.

Waitress: Complacent and unattentive… Food: I had the Lamb tenderloin served with some sort of mint sauce. It was very salty and inedible. The lamb was cooked to the preferred doneness but was tough and rubbery. The steak knife couldn’t even cut it off the bone. The bone in also made this tenerloin of lamb difficult to eat, anything but tender. The rub on the lamb was all salt. Dies any one cooking this food taste it? The salad: Tomato, matzarella, in a balsomic vinegerrette was ample for sharing Side: mac cheese, and lump crab was also ample for two. Plenty of whole lump crab throughout. Some of of the lump crab seemed overtly salty. Over Rated and Over Priced. Tourist trap. Or for peple with money to burn who thinks Shulas will impress …

Ugh! The service was horrendous. The manager was worse. They had no baked potatoes, could not find our wine selection and I asked for a refill on my water three times! It was just awful! Sides were just average, the filet was very good which was the only redeeming item. Our bill for four was approximately $ 550. for four of us. We have been there many times previously over five to ten years and we really liked it. This was very disappointing.

One of my favorite places to eat. Exceptionally expensive for sure. Service is great. Food is great. Bring a credit card with a high limit. This place is epitome of you get what you pay for. They have never disappointed me.

Everything was exceptional and their sides are fabulous. I would have given a five star but just one thing, being from Colorado we have amazing beef and their beef was good but not great. The BBQ Shrimp was fantastic and the homemade steak sauces are really tasty. Can’t begin to describe the fabulous flavor of the Cherry Noir Martini. Do not leave here without having the three flavors of crème brûlée(vanilla, chocolate and orange) We went back just for desserts and another order of crème brûlée.

Ask for Norma & Beck! They’re great! Amazing steak! The crab mac & cheese is to die for! Oh, and, I don’t know what they did to make the Caesar salad so mouth-watering! Make sure you also order the molten lava cake. Very rich…2 or 3 could share! It’s delightful!

Really bad! I’ve been to some of the best steak houses around the world, and I wouldn’t even remember this place if you asked me my top 15 – 20. I will start with a major complaint. Unilocal has a coupon for a free martini. They handed the martini menu to me and said to pick anything off that menu. They charged me for the martini but gave a credit for a beer I ordered which was half the price. To start, I’m not really buying this whole«Shula’s Cut». They claim that only 1% of steaks make it for them, as the rest are cut… hence«Shula’s Cut». Whether the cut is good or not, the cook or the seasoning is all wrong. Not going to go into detail, but I will say, even the desert was bad. The molten lava cake tastes like Betty Crocker out of the box. It was obvious there was no thought in the desert. I took a bite and couldn’t eat anymore. I love chocolate so to stop eating must tell you how bad it was. Sorry Don
