ELVISHASLEFTTHEBUILDING It’s hard to believe that after 20+ years of service to the Naples community Ritchey’s Produce is now Closed For Business. I have had the pleasure of visiting Ritchey’s produce on each of my vacation trips to the Naples area for the past 20 years and I just cannot think of a vacation to the area without a visit to this iconic location. Ritchey’s had it all, fruit, vegetables and even pretty good Key Lime pie — all gone due to construction for a new housing project — just what Naples needs, another housing project. I will miss Ritchey’s produce and hope that he is able to open back up somewhere in the greater Naples area. I wish that the developers of the new housing project would consider Eco-Tourism and the asset Ritchey’s would be to the area and their new community. I hope that all our friends at Ritchey’s will find new employment in the area and are not burdened by the closing.

Fresh produce, they try to be local but sometimes you find things flown in. Nothing organic here but lots of samples for every fruit and veggie you want. Can be high priced so be careful. Go to the back where they sell the over ripened cheaper. My family dies for the KeyLime pie, homemade salsa. Cash and local check only. Fun place for tourists, stop by next door and get fresh squeezed OJ, home made jams, souvenirs.
