Average food, slow service and they used such a strong ammonia based cleaner that I coughed. After 15 minutes my order was taken. The waitress was very nice to a family with 2 disabled kids, so that’s a positive!

They are known for being a decent breakfast chain. But not this location. Cheese on egg wasn’t even melted. Bacon pancake and 4 or 5 small crumbs on a stack of 3 plain pancakes. The syrup came out watery because the washing fluid somehow seeped into the cap. We asked for another. The replacement was syrupy as one would expect. I had the Florentine skillet. It was not bad. I guess I got lucky. Unfortunately, one shouldn’t count on luck when dining out.

Great new menu! Never had anything bad here. Service is always good and hardly ever a wait. I don’t give 5’s very often any more but for cost, taste and service Perkins delivers in my opinion. I had the new baconzilla burger which had 2 Angus patties, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, bacon jam and all the dressings. This was really good. The bacon jam really added a nice flavor to the overall burger. Debbie had the bacon grilled cheese which rocked as well. And all for $ 20. Not bad

We love Perkins in general. The food is always good. I have to admit, I’m addicted to the banana nut muffin. We’ve visited this particular restaurant on Pine Ridge Road quite a few times. The service could be slow at times but the food always came out ok. My biggest issue is with their lemonade. My son only orders lemonade when we eat out. The first couple of times we ate at this Perkins restaurant, his lemonade and my strawberry lemonade tasted funky; like they used sewer water. I notified the manager on our way out. A month later, we came back and forgot about our lemonade experience so we ordered the same drinks. Guess what? It smelled and tasted the same disgusting taste. I’m not the person who make a scene while dining so again we waited until we were about to leave. Again, I notified the manager of the funky lemonade taste. She said they tasted it and it was fine. Fine? Have they ever had lemonade outside of Perkins? Even the lemonade at the kids’ lemonade stand in our neighborhood taste 1000 times better than theirs. And I don’t recall tasting the same funky lemonade at other Perkins restaurants. My advice to the manager: clean your equipment from time regularly. I don’t know how you pass inspection. We owned a restaurant before and I know what needed to be done every night before closing the restaurant. With that said, I will take the advice by another reviewer, Gloria, and take our hard earned money to Perkins at Bonita Beach Road even when we are so much closer to Pine Ridge.

I like Perkins a lot. I know it’s a chain restaurant, but the food at this one is very good. I’m big on the Everything omelet, and their breakfast potatoes(crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside) are soooooooo goooooooooooood! The atmosphere is typical. Nothing too fancy or drab, with inexpensive, mis-matched artwork on the walls. There are 3 different areas, all which are well-lit and open(so you can’t be forgotten about), and they have the capacity to seat large parties. The wait staff is attentive, even when busy. 99.9% of the time, the food comes out perfect(although the cooks still haven’t mastered what«double ham, double onion, double cheese» means when it comes to creating your own omelet. Ingredients are usually lacking, according to my fiancé.) Weekends they’re packed, especially during snowbird«season»(October — March/April). If you get there between 9 and 11, you’re likely looking at a 15 – 20 minute wait, which isn’t bad in comparison to other restaurants … Just play a few rounds of Donkey Kong on their vintage arcade machine, and time passes quickly. =)

Go to the one in Bonita beach road/41 Same menu, lots of healthier choices than the past. Always wondered why this one is so different, service in front is good but food is and always has been SSLLOOOWWW cookin, think they have to wait for the hen to lay an egg out back. Found out it is because the one in Bonita is corporate. Guess where you will find me from now on?

Okay I know Perkins is just your run of the mill breakfast chain, but this Perkins is different. Everything was perfect. Our waitress, Breanna, was kind, prompt, and got everything right(even our little changes) and the food was excellent. Seriously, the pancakes were the best I have ever had. I loved everything about this Perkins!
