It’s a no brainer that a rehabilitation center contiguous with the hospital should double as a «Wellness Center.» You can’t tell the patients from the patrons, which is awesome. Every type of machine is available to coax your sad bones, muscles, and organs back into shape. And, there are scheduled classes to amp up your flagging energy and keep you on a wellness track. Today, the outdoor pool was warmer than the air, thanks very much to drizzling rain and Señor El Nino. Four of us showed up for water aerobics. The instructor was all sunshine and motivation, providing a full hour of exercise to jiggle whatever’s loose on you. Although there is a sauna, whirlpool, showers, vanities with mirrors, and self locking lockers in the ladies room — be aware that apart from shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensed in each shower — you are totally on your own for anything else. Bring a towel. Bring a hair dryer. Bring face paint. Bring shower shoes. You get the picture. Great resource for both the hospital and greater Naples.

First the employes and trainer are 5 Star and they are the reason I’m still there! Here comes the bad part and that is the management, because of the so called(«misbehavior)from someone, is the men Sauna closed since over 5 month. Management don’t care regarding the 99.9% percent of members asking to re-open. If there was an issue it could have easily be resolved with an employe goes through every 30 minutes, the way they are doing in other Gym’s. I’m a member since day one and very disappointed from a management who absolute don’t care about their members

Awesome classes but way too expensive– Naples prices and only affordable to those retired or rich… wish they had affordable punch cards

Ladies, I used to belong to a huge, national fitness center where I had to negotiate a contract, pay a ton of money, and all for the pleasure of working out with the steroid crowd. You know who I’m talking about – muscle heads with so much ‘roid rage that fights actually broke out in the weights section of the gym. It was also the kind of place where, as a woman, you were ogled like a side of beef by every meathead in the place. Make a 180 degree turn and meet NCH Briggs Wellness Center. $ 50 a month, no contract, a much more sophisticated crowd of fitness-conscious patrons, a lovely, clean facility, and a place where you can feel comfortable looking like a sweaty abomination. Side note: I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention that you might catch yourself sneaking a peak at the cute floor staff(who, by the way, are all very friendly). Call it a reverse ogle ;) The only thing I do not care for is that there are signs in the locker room enforcing a no-nakedness policy. Really? It’s a locker room, for god’s sake! My European and feminist sensibilities are offended! No matter, I’ll simply have take my nudity elsewhere. To quote Liz Lemon: «I want to go to there!» #nchbriggswellnesscenter

I have been a member now for over a month, this place is great. Clean clean clean. great staff, covered parking, and Jenna is a personal trainer there and is working with me. She know her stuff. They really make you feel at home. Super crowd and such a large place you never feel crowded. Please give Briggs a try. Theo G

Mostly upper middle class older adults surround this place. That could be good or bad. Clean, latest equipment and classes. Especially enjoy the yoga classes. Locker rooms very nice and private, whirlpool and waiting room areas are well maintained. Massage rooms available. Outdoor pool is unusual for a fitness center around Naples. In the same building as Naples Community Hospital. Free covered parking. Subway restaurant on the second level is convenient.
