Joe’s Diner

Had dined here twice once for breakfast and once for lunch both very good. Never in my life had a Reuben sandwich and it was amazing. Will def go back. Like the outdoor seating Aldo.

Decent prices, mediocre food, yet the place is somehow always kind of busy. The servers are always very nice, but the food is just kind of average. The coffee is pretty watery too.

As a breakfast junkie, I am always searching for my favorite breakfast meal at dinner time. Well, here it is with all breakfast, lunch, and dinner items available until 8:30pm.
For me, the way I judge a good breakfast joint is by their potatoes. Joe’s country potatoes with onions and peppers are superb; the best ever, and they will leave out the onions and peppers if you are foolish enough to ask.
I am an old guy, so I do not do Facebook, etc, but maybe one of you modern younger ones can contact Guy Fieri and get Joe on Diners, Dives, and Drive-​Ins; they are a perfect match.
Unfortunately for me, I live 1300 miles from Joe’s, so they will only see me on my FL visits. I talked to Joe (a great guy) after our last breakfast at dinner and asked him to open a branch on Cape Cod, but I don’t think that is going to happen.
Don’t miss this Diner/​Dive; great people, great service, and greater food. Both times we were there this week, they asked my wife and I if we would like another Diet Coke or coffee to go — for free. What a great experience. We’ll be back in the morning.

We brought my parents here when visiting them. Coffee was good, food was good, service was good. I had the blueberry blintzes… heavenly.
My dad has Alzheimer’s and its sometimes difficult to find a place to take him. It was terrific here because they have outdoor seating which he loved. Dad is a New Englander and Boston College grad and always wears a BC hat. The owner is also a BC graduate and was at BC the same time my dad was. He couldn’t have been nicer.
Mom has been raving about it ever since we left! We will get be back.

Great burgers and pot roast. Dog friendly as well.

Love this place. . The food is great and the choices are many. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

Supposed to be good, don’t know, sitting here forever after a wait outside. They lost our order so no telling when we will eat if at all … Seems a chaotic place.
Food finally came with over easy eggs raw and accompanied by a pitcher of pancake syrup that poured out a gob of slime…

Great value. I had the waffle combo with eggs over medium, bacon and of course a waffle. Husband had the southern combo that included biscuits, gravy, and sides of peaches and grits. I stole some peaches for my waffle. Much better deal than eating at the hotel. Excellent service. Extra parking in rear.

Fantastic service. I went with 3 other people for breakfast. We ordered two different skillets and two different omelets. Everything was great! Our waitress, Heather, was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Just a great all-​american diner experience.

My daughter and I ate this (the Tropical Chicken Salad) again, hoping for a repeat performance, but it felt super flat… The quality of chicken has gone WAY DOWN — it was stringy, fatty, and gross (unfortunately had to spit some of it out). Being one of the pricier dishes on the menu, please fix this!
(The only saving grace was the yummy banana muffin that it came with, to be honest.)

The breakfast was good. I thought they served to much food. The French Toast wasn’t that good. I recommend the Home Fries with Pancakes. The service was fast.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The country gravy is thick with spicy sausage and the biscuits are tender and flaky. The servers are friendly and efficient, bustling around and greeting regular customers with hugs. Great local place.

3.9 STARS! A dive/​diner for sure. Won’t find culinary cuisine but the prices are fair and worth stopping in for an affordable, edible meal. The service is basic. Not so friendly but they probably don’t get good tips either. I tip well though. Remember, this is a diner and not an expensive breakfast bistro you’ll find in a classy, hipster, metro-​subdivision.
FOOD: The french toast was over cooked, not burnt but browned and limp, not crisp. Add fresh pecans and strawberries. The eggs were not fluffy and needed a little salt and pepper but you can always add your own as they keep the eggs basic for everyone to season to their liking. The bacon was way over cooked, nuked almost. The Canadian bacon was nothing to talk about but it wasn’t burnt. The biscuits and gravy hit and missed. The gravy had a little too much fat (that’s what makes them good, I know.) The consistency of the gravy is something like oatmeal so if you like it thick and chunky then this gravy is for you. The biscuit is not fluffy so I doubt it’s fresh but it was still tasty. The coffee was yucky as my wife says. It’s ground fresh daily so I guess she just was one of the few who didn’t enjoy these fresh grounds. The hot tea was basic (many options given in a cup) but it’s great they offer it. Enjoy!

Horrendous service. Sat for 10 min outside without any waiter stopping. Had to help ourselves to menus. Watched another couple be seated around us and get waiter attention right away… when we still hadn’t been seen.
The server who finally did come, said sorry and it’s been busy AND that she was just in the restroom… I DONT WANT TO KNOW THAT. Just had the coffee served, I put my cream and sugar in, rotate cup to use my other hand for the holder, and see lipstick from the previous users lips… we walked out. HORRIBLE.

I’ll make this easy… I don’t recommend this place. If you want to read more, is probably just me complaining.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because it’s a cute place, but I don’t go back just because it’s a cute place, I go back for the food.
Now, in terms of food, it’s just generic. Nothing special about the food at all. It’s not the worst, hence 2 stars but nothing I would remember.
If you have the choice to sit inside or outside on a hot day, most people chose inside. Don’t. They don’t turn the air on inside, so it’s just as hot as outside, but no airflow or breeze at all.
Also, tons of flys inside and they were biting me or something. Couldn’t wait to leave.

This is a pretty decent spot for breakfast. There are a ton of items on the menu. My husband raved about the coffee. The food was pretty decent, a tad on the greasy side. They have a great space for outdoor eating, probably gets crazy hot in the summer though. Service was decent, not bad, but not out of this world.

Well, the pony tailed man in the street flagged us in so why not. A fun place, decorated with lots of retro. The Chick Caesars spinach wrap sandwich with chicken, tomato, Parmesan and a side of broc salad was quite good.
Service was so slow though. We sat fro 15 minutes waiting to place our order. All servers walking past said someone will be with you soon, but they weren’t. This is not acceptable at lunch. Things to do, want to be in and out. So if you’re not in a hurry, food is good. But beware the service.

This is hands down best place for breakfast in Naples. There are a wide variety of options including waffles, pancakes, egg dishes, and the best french toast I’ve ever had. The staff is so sweet and quick to serve. This place works like a well oiled machine. It does tend to get extremely packed so the fewer the ppl the better.

The Patty Melt was good — great burger and nicely griddled Rye bread — but it was light on the sauce and the onions were a little undercooked IMO.
The service was great and my sister LOVED her Triple Crown omelet.
Do not order the BLT — only 2 strips of bacon and Miracle Whip instead of mayo.
