This our second year snowbirding to Naples. We went to Charlenas numerous times last year and went once so far this year. We get the stromboli and supreme pizza. Its always good. The entire family seems to live and work there. There’s no question on dedication to the business. If you don’t like the place I suggest you head back up nauth and enjoy your faaavritt up thayr’. I am and will be a repeat customer. Nuff said.

I was very disappointed with the pizza. It’s honestly sad when a pizza shop buys in frozen pizza dough. This confirms in my mind that they want to cut corners and it shows in the pizza that they produce. Also they burned the cheese on my pizza and the cheese wasn’t evenly distributed on the pizza.

Hidden gem in a strip mall, from the bakery, the cannolis are to die for as well as the other pastries and cookies. Now onto the pizza and Italian dishes, everything is fresh and delicious ! I ordered a Casatta cake for my son’s wedding rehearsal dinner, 3 years ago people are still talking about how delicious it was !

How a pizza joint can serve such garbage is totally.absurd. absolutly the worst excuse for a simple pizza that we have ever encountered
The pizza was cold. The dough limp, raw and greasy enough to soak the bottom of the carry out box.
Inedible! If I had looked in the box before I took it home, I would have demanded a refund and an apology.
Stay away from this insult to the restaurant business.

Best place in Naples! My family absolutely loves their grinder sandwiches and bakery items! Pizza is out of this world and I recommend the meat lovers. The staff is always wonderful and helpful when we come in to pick up. Can’t get any better. We are customers for life. Order here!

This place has lost our business. We waited an hour and a half for our food. By the time it came, it was cold. I can’t even call what I had a lasagna. It was soggy over cooked noodles, and some burnt ground beef thrown into a crushed pan. I took one bite and had to throw it away. The bread that came with it was also burnt. The salad was warm with way too many onions. The delivery driver was awful. We wanted change and he tried pulling the oldest trick in the book by «having to go back to his car.» The 1 star I’m giving this place is too forgiving. Stay far far far away.

I visited this Shop. On our way back from Ft. Lauderdale to Tampa. Make several stops heading north.
I was craving Pasta, Pizza. Of course Checked Unilocal.And, decided to make a Stop.
Well, no Gluten Free Available. A fellow Unilocaler that is listed on my Friends list. Lives and Frequents restaurants in Naples.
She has been a good source of info when it comes to helping me. And the Community with the Gluten Issue. So many of us have.
I am very Happy to hear that Charlena’s Will be offering. Gluten Free Pasta Dishes, within a week or so.
My Sincere Apologies, to Diane. Since I did not complete my review and could not pull it up on my list.
So keep this place on your Must Try list:-)

We ordered the baked ziti and after a few bites we thru it away it was a soggy overcooked mess. I think I might have been frozen and then nuked when we ordered when you put a fork full in your mouth you couldn’t feel the difference between the pasta and the regatta it was all mushy. The bread was warm with something warm that looked like melted butter but tasted like nothing. The salad and the dressing that came with the meal was good for a side salad.

The pizza here is alright. My biggest complaint is the dough. It’s so thin that the pizza falls apart when you try to eat it. It’s almost as if it needs to be cooked longer… It’s pretty good, but definitely not my favorite.

Just returned with a pizza, tried one slice ! were do I begin, well the mushrooms are sliced so thin, the flavor is non existent, they are fresh mushrooms however ! But if you cant taste em ! The Crust is obviously readymade, was completely undercooked and limp like a wet noodle ! most of the toppings (sausage, Peppers, onions) all blended into one boring flavor ! Tried one slice and the rest hit the trash ! a genuine insult to good Pizza ! anyone who reviews this as great pizza, Must have never had great pizza ! This pizza doesn’t even rate on the scale of 1 – 10 …Never again !

Great pizza!!! I love this place. My friend recommended it when we were ordering delivery and I was pleasantly surprised. I have had such poor pizza since coming to Naples but this place is great. Now I come once a week for a $ 3 slice or the $ 5 deal for two slices and a soda :) love love love

We live nearby and have their pizza and pastries. My friends out of town ask for this pizza when they visit. They KNOW pizza! We like their Margarita and supreme pizza. Meat lovers is salty. The cookies and lobster tails are divine! The Baker hails from a longtime family –owned bakery from Brooklyn. You don’t find this quality anywhere else in Naples. Love it!

After reading the other reviews, I was disappointed by the Pizza. The crust was very dry and tasteless. We had to clean our own table in order to sit down.
They used chopped garlic on our Margherita pizza which was a cheese pizza with sliced tomatoes. One of the worst pizzas I have ever had.

I’m down in Naples visiting my sister for the week. We ended up ordering from Charlena’s twice during the week. Mainly because we’ve heard good things about them and they deliver.
The first time we ordered the pizza. It was a lot better than I expected. As a matter of fact, it was great.
The second time I got a cheesesteak. It was one of the worst cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! The bread was hard at the ends, but for a 16″ sub, that’s not the worst thing in the world. The best philly’s I have ever had were with American cheese, but that’s just my personal preference. Unfortunately they don’t have American cheese, so I got my sub with mozzarella, which wasn’t very good on a philly. Next, the onions and peppers were raw and didn’t taste good at all. Lastly, a lot of the shaved steak was sticking together and some pieces were very hard, it was almost like eating beef jerky.
Overall the pizza was delicious, but the philly was a huge disappointment.
