My wife and I have been to Agave three times. Each time has been a home run. The service was outstanding each time. Love the live music. When in town we make it a point to have dinner at Agave.

I have now had five different meals, and have yet to have a good one. Ate there last night and after three bits, I just ate the chips. The atmosphere is very nice, but the main entrees have a lot to be desired. Too bad.

Went to Agave last night because I heard there was a new chef(the old one sucked). My veggie burger was flavorless, mushy and the bread wasn’t that good either(didn’t eat any of it) and while waiting for them to fix another person’s order a cockroach crawled out of the booth and over our table… I have tried that place 2 tries now and left feeling ripped off, angry and grossed out both times… Not going back.

Such great food! I want to keep getting the same plates because it’s so good but exploring the menu is dangerous because now I have too many favorites! Hanger steak, guacamole, lobster, dinner salad…

Food: 9 Service: 1 Décor: 8 Noise level: Waaay too loud for dinner — even at the farthest table from the band stand. After several visits, we are not fans. Too bad. The food is really very good and inventive, but the service and the floor management are terrible. Over two hours for a simple two course meal with no special orders or requests. Mix-up on the check and management has a «so what» attitude. Server was nice, but had one gear — low. We saw other larger parties who were seated after us get served and leave before we got our check. Almost cancelled desserts due to long waits for food. Too bad, because we liked it for lunch and the first time we were there for dinner. I believe owned by the same folks as Angelina’s in Bonita Springs — again, too bad because Angelina’s has a great reputation, although we don’t go that far north as a rule. We probably won’t return and cannot recommend Agave to any of our friends.

Our server Mike was great! He was very busy and we had a large party with lots of needs. He worked so hard and was extremely nice and patient. Even in the craziest time of the night he kept his cool. Margaritas were great, food was amazing. Definitely a great place for bringing out of town guests for dinner. Also has a great happy hour!

My boyfriend and I often regard the Agave success story. Once a lonely sight has now blossomed into a busy marketplace of booming business. They have often rotated through chefs, menus, drinks specials, etc, but now that they have added a huge stage and a big screen TV, it looking amazing for them! Packed house every night amazing! Their drinks are awesome! Seriously, all of them are awesome! And also, not going to lie but it’s amazing having a bar with li e music and good food close by. It’s still not my first choice for lunch, or dinner for that matter, but the food is good and I can’t help but love the lively and much improved atmosphere. Lots of new menu items, but the fish tacos, fajitas, and the truffle fries side take the cake for me! Hope you try it and enjoy a real neighborhood joint!

Went in for a quick dinner and drink, it took about 7 minutes before I could get a drink. because the bartender was all over the other bartender. Not something I wanted to see. However no one ever checked back after I received my dinner. Season hasn’t even started yet. She behaved like she was intoxicated.

Salsa watery, no flavor. Chips from a bag. Shrimp and lobster tacos were okay a 2 ½ out of five. Shrimp and lobster enchiladas were not authentic and tasted like cat food. Margaritas and band excellent. Waitress great and caring. Great place for margaritas and music. Will never eat here again.

I ate here 9÷9÷15 and Julia was our server and she was OUTSTANDING as was the FOOD, LIVEMUSIC and VIBE in this great Restaurant. First there is EASYAMPLEPARKING here which is a pleasure and not always the case downtown… there were three of us and we had the fabulous Guacamole and AMAZING Empanadas to start.(i would order 2– 3 portions of the empanadas because there are 2 per order and they are SOGOOD.) I highly recommend the lobster/shrimp tacos and my friends had the brisket tacos and brisket enchiladas BOTH were amazing– everything is authentic Mexican food although they serve American cuisine as well– and I know the mexican food is made from scratch, like the Brisket is roasted for hours and everything is made to order– the portion size is also a generous size too:) Also, the prices are Very reasonable here! So– I was VERY Happy here, and I expect a lot. I cannot recommend this place enough and will return every time i am in Naples!

I’ve been to Agave with guests for dinner, for late-night fun, and now for lunch… and I can say this place rocks from open to close! The menu is fresh and inspired, and the service is always super friendly. Whereas many restaurants are lax about their service staff, Agave seems to pick the cream of the crop and it totally pays off. Try the chicken enchilada! So great.

Agave and its wonderful staff helped me to host my daughter’s baby shower. It was nothing short of fantastic! The 3 folks(Lem, Nadia and Kailey) who took care of us were wonderful and extremely accommodating. Our custom menu was happily printed and prepared. The food was simply excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to host an event here again. Special thanks to manager Jamie for helping me to coordinate the entire party.

A bit over priced, we wouldn’t go if we didn’t have a Groupon but every time we go, the food is great. But let’s be honest: mexican food shouldn’t cost $ 15 a plate!!!

The food was pretty good, and I really liked the open kitchen. My fiancé is a chef, and I am a cook, so it was interesting to get to watch other cooks work. The hostess was very friendly, and the waitress entertained our questions about the food. She was even kind enough to go back into the kitchen a few times to ask what ingredients were in a few of the sauces that we liked. This is a good place to go on a date when you want to hear live music, not the best if you’re looking to have a conversation with the person across from you.

We are here on vacation from Chicago. We stopped in for dinner last night and were really impressed. We read the Unilocal reviews and thought it could be hit or miss. The interior was much different than what we were expecting for a bar and grill. It was very nice, modern and clean inside. The menu was interesting and they even had a kids menu which was great considering we had our 3 and 5 year olds with us. Now onto the food. This is one of the best meals we’ve had since being here in Naples. We had the short rib empanadas for an appetizer. They were amazing!!! Very tasty. I ordered the brisket tacos. They had a bit of a kick but were fantastic. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas and thought they were great. The rice and beans were delicious. They provided chips and salsa which was good too. We also had excellent service. I was worried because that was a concern posted on Unilocal.Daniel was our server and he was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. He took great care of us. Overall, we had a wonderful meal and will definitely back if we are ever in Naples again.

Saturday night drinks, dinner & live band. Happy Hour till 7 pm –then had dinner. Margaritas, White Sangria & Fajitas. Fabulous night. Décor is beautiful and place is clean & well maintained. Service was excellent. Attentive yet not intrusive. We thought some of the entrees were priced high & ordered fajitas for $ 13 added fresh guacamole & black beans additional $ 2 each. Served with choice of tortilla, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, creama & a creamy garlic dressing on the side. Carafe of Sangria is $ 10 and is about 3 glasses. Homemade chips & salsa – had to ask for these but think it was an oversight. Be aware the live band was warming up when we arrived at 7. They started at 8. We thought they were great –so great tables in the dining room were applauding after some of the songs. Saturday night was Kings Landing. But if you want a quite dinner it not happening. The stage is across from the bar with the dining room in the back however the sound is throughout the restaurant. Fun night they had it going on.

The only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because of the bar. Janelle is an awesome mixologist. She served up some of the coolest, one-of-a-kind drinks I’ve ever tasted. My fiancé and I went to Agave to meet some friends for dinner. The restaurant itself is clean and beautiful. It kinda reminded me of an upscale steakhouse, even though much of the cuisine until recently was Mexican. I did almost trip on the cobblestones near the entry way though – quite a few times – so I warn ladies in heels to be careful. There was a band that night – which we expected, so we weren’t bothered by the music volume – and they were pretty good. Because of the entertainment, I thought it would be much more crowded, but there were only a total of maybe 30 – 35 people there. We had a fun time. The food, however, was very disappointing. It LOOKED pretty, but the flavor just wasn’t there … It was the kind of meal you don’t finish, even after smothering it in salsa.(We ended up filling ourselves with their chips and salsa, which were delish!) I wouldn’t have minded so much if the prices were reasonable, but they weren’t.($ 15 – 20 may not sound like much, but tack on a few $ 10 margaritas per person and you’re looking a tab of over $ 100 – which is what ours came to BEFORE tip.) I definitely wouldn’t go back to Agave for a meal, and I’d probably only stop in for drinks during happy hour because of the cost, but if you venture out, be sure to ask for Janelle! She’ll make your trip much better.

We went for lunch and sat at an outside table. We both had margaritas that had some punch to them. Mine was a watermelon margarita with chunks of the fruit floating around the ice, cilantro, salt on the rim & some habanero peppers that had been pulverized in it as well for an incredibly pop and finish. Di had a cucumber, basil margarita that tasty, too, but not as much as mine was. We «snarfed» on tasty chips and salsa. I would, though, recommend that they make their own chips and bring them to the table when they were hot which would be a good touch. In addition to the above, we enjoyed a huge bowl of guacamole. We should have waited to see how we felt before ordering anything more but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had ordered one order of fish tacos. Not much room for those but at least we brought it home. Great wait staff! Beautifully decorated. Like the large group room for larger groups. Definitely worth more visits!

Back again to check out Matty jollie. They said he starts at 6. I show up to see a completely blank stage. Seemed fishy. I asked my server if he is still singing. .she said at 7. I left at 7:30…no artist to be seen. Yea, sometimes people are unreliable but it isn’t cool to lie to your customer and leave a sign out front saying«live music 6−9». Guacamole is exceptional. I like the bacon add on. Southwest chicken wing was alright. The seasoning was good but texture of meat was slimy. Service was not as good as the first time I was here.
