Drink prices are ridiculous. They don’t take reservations except for large parties so be prepared to wait a long time. Typical sushi/sashimi menu, nothing to write home about. Feels overcrowded. Wouldn’t come back if it weren’t right around the corner.

Best sushi place in Naperville. Incredibly nice folks run this place, with Gene and family always on the case. Good cocktails, my wife loves the French Martini. Full liquor bar. Generous portions, all sorts of Japanese food. Hard to pick a favorite dish but the tuna tower is unreal. Go. You won’t regret it!

Having lived in this area for so long and looked for the best Asian food all along Rt 59, this place takes the gold medal when it comes to sushi and sashimi. Everything here is perfect from the presentation to the taste, texture, and ambiance. I don’t have to explain myself any more than this.

Solid quality and great service! It’s decent value for your money; the portions are larger than the portions at many other sushi places around here even if the prices might be a bit higher. Jeff was our server and he was very helpful and accommodating, answering all of our menu questions carefully. My mom and I only came here because this is the only restaurant we’ve found that serves black cod which she’s craved for years — otherwise, it’s a little out of the way for us. We were pleasantly surprised; the fish, despite being a tad under-seasoned, was tender and moist. I ordered a sushi box and was also pleased with it; my only complaint was that the broccoli tempura included was a bit soggy.

When we go to wild tuna — we are family they know we want a bottle of white so they set it up all we have to do is choose one … We drink as we eat our very unique and tasty roles — we love it here !!!

My fiancé and I tried this place out and it had great sushi, especially since it is very close to my house! We tried a few rolls and all of them were amazing! Great service and quick! I casually order for a take home.

My wife & I have been wanting to try this place out finally we did and we were not disappointed at all. I’ve been eating sushi for almost 30 years, I really enjoyed the sushi and the complete dinning experience. Our waiter was the best, I forgot his name but for anyone who has never tried sushi before he will explain and guide you through the menu to a T. We did not try the tuna tower but it looked fantastic.

I finally was able to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised. We got a variety of sushi and it was all good. I don’t have a favorite yet but will definitely be back to try more things.

My favorite sushi in Naperville! Try the Godzilla roll for an all around delicious meal. You’ll only need 1 — it’s big! Also good: asparagus with beef, sweet potato roll, shrimp tempura and all the appetizers.

I like it. After passing this place for over 3 years, I finally stopped in and sat out side. When sitting outside, you face west… pretty sunsets are a nice bonus. Met Gene the owner, great host. He’s a pro. I didn’t order much, but what I did have was quite good. I would have given 5 stars but my tuna and Tako were warm, and should have been cold. It’s a nice place to decompress after a long day… I’ll be back.

Gene and his family are the best. You won’t find better sushi. They know what they’re doing here. Rolls are tight, rice is sticky and good quality. Fish is always fresh. Try the tuna tower or ika sansa. I’m getting hungry.

We love Wild Tuna. We probably get take out from there once a week. The Route 66 is super yummy! They always have our order ready when they say and they’re quick checking you out.

Wild Tuna is my dream sushi! Haha but seriously, Wild Tuna uses the best quality sushi I’ve had in the area. It’s very very fresh and their rolls are always inventive, the service friendly, and the environment clean and calming. The servers know their stuff.

I really love the sushi and sashimi here. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I’m a big tea drinker and they had my green tea and Sapporo beer which is a huge plus for me. They even had Mochi but ran out of chocolate. The place is really nice inside too the outside is a little deceiving. I will be returning here again. Great experience!

WILD tuna is a solid sushi /Japanese restaurant. I strongly recommend the katsu either chicken or pork. The miso soup is excellent and ginger salad dressing always tasty. The sushi Maki has always been good and fresh, the only role we didn’t care for was the avocado roll. The atmosphere and service we’re all good and we will certainly be back

Awesome, quality, exceptional tasting fresh Sushi. The restaurant gives you the feeling of being on the television show Cheers. As you enter Wild Tuna, the ambiance is incredible and each staff member displays passion to eagerly win your approval. The owners Gene and Lena are wonderful sincere, genuine people with impeccable customer service skills. Each time you leave, you have definitely had a delightful dinning experience. Culinary Arts at its best!

My favorite sushi in Naperville — a fun venue, awesome owners, and oh yes — the sushi. It may be the Sapporo running in my veins, but I always have a great time when I’m there. I can’t even tell you my favorite roll, because every time I go there I get something different that is incredible. I’ve also heard great things about the Tuna Tower. Not sure what that is, but it sounds like a tower of power. Of tuna. Maybe I’ll try it next time.(wink!)

Just tried this place for the first time today. Have had problems finding anything decent near naperville. And today I was happily surprised. Food was good, and the fish temp was correct. Really great looking hamachi(not that pink stringy garbage other sushi bars are slinging) and tasty kani(real king crab). And yea it’s expensive like city prices but having eaten at 95% of those city places, I was happy with my food. I will say the service was a little slow. But the food was good enough to make up for that little glitch and I was in no hurry. So if you’re looking for good sushi and you truly know quality fish rather than silly trendy rolls, I’ve found this and nabuki in hinsdale. And that’s about it. Hope this helps. After three times, the first was great, the second barely acceptable, and finally on the third visit, I will never go back. Dried up OLD fish and a server that wanted to debate the DISGUSTING looking fish by attempting to school me on the«different cuts» — a total crock o sh! t. Any self respecting business would have taken the miserable looking OLD fish back without a word. But not this time. Now I’m the bad guy cause you got called out on serving GARBAGE. $ 125 later, thanks but no thanks wild tuna.
