We took our son’s 93 buick after the rear tire fell off! Matt and his team were able to repair the car and it didn’t break the bank! These guys are amazing and know what they are doing! Love what he is doing and he will get all of our auto repairs!

Selected Wheatland Auto for an AC repair. What a surprise and delight of true service and quality care!!! Matt called twice to explain findings and possible solutions and then surpassed my expectation on repair time in getting my car ready for pickup. My family has been bringing our cars here for years. They are very friendly, reasonably priced and customer oriented. I have never been «upsold» on anything. I love that I don’t know a lot about cars but they don’t treat me any different. They take time to explain everything that is going on with my car and why they recommend certain work be done. We have had many great experiences here.

Have to agree with the other five star reviews, Matt and Wheatland Automotive are cost-​effective and honest. Very conveniently located too, especially for those of us west of Route 59 and south of 75^th street. (Right across from the Metra Park & Ride lot at 91^st street and Normantown Road.)
My niece and I have both found Matt to be very informative and, when appropriate, he will also research cost-​effective replacement parts. Most recently, Matt gave me peace of mind by providing a second opinion on a potentially expensive engine oil pan gasket leak I was advised of by an oil change tech at another local (unnamed) business. The Result? Matt said he found no evidence of any leak or any trace of oil on the exterior of the pan. In fact, he said it’s not often he sees such a clean pan exterior on a ten year-​old car! Gotta love it.

Matt and his staff is awesome!!! I trust them with all my cars, they are very honest, truthful and will tell you if you really need to fix something. Matt is very prompt and knowledgeable, like other reviews state he doesn’t charge outrageous prices. I usually fix my own car since we all know how some shops can be, and this place is a top notch place :) I reccommend Wheatland to all my friends and family with confidence.

We’ve taken our 2002 and 2006 Cadillacs to Wheatland Automotive, and both times the service has been BEYOND great, and the bill BELOW expected. Matt is fabulous and honest. We can’t say enough about him or his business.

If you are sick of dealing with shady mechanics and overpriced dealerships, go to Matt at this place. Matt treated me with respect and took the time to explain everything that needed fixing which allowed me to make a confident decision about fixing my car. Before going to Wheatland, I went to the dealership. The dealer told me my car didn’t have many miles left at 140,000 miles and tried to get me to trade my car in and get a new car. Matt checked my car and told me my car was still in great condition. I use to only take my car to the dealership, but when Matt told me he could fix everything for half of what the dealership wanted, I realized I had been overcharged all those years. Matt is trustworthy, and I’m so relieved to have found my go to mechanic!

Good work at a good price. There is a guy who also fixes lawn mowers and sharpens blades in the store at a reasonable price compared to other places I checked. I like that they don’t recommend services that aren’t necessary.

MAtt and his team are excellent and he is very responsive. I’ve taken both my vehicles there and he has been able to deal with any issues from a lexus sedan to a Ford f350 diesel. If we were not moving out of state, MAtt would get my business everytime.
You will not be disappointed.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I took my car into Matt for a couple of things he diagnosed quickly, and went out of his way to make sure everything was right. Now my car is back in great shape with no problems!
can’t say enough about the customer service, Matt and his team are second to none!

I now bring both my 8 year old Lexus ED330 and my 3 year old Honda Pilot to Matt. He’s done brake work, belts, transmission fluid/​gasket and hoses for me and each time the work is done well, on-​time and at approximately half the cost of the dealer.
He’s stopped me from making unnecessary repairs that the dealer wanted a lot of $ to do, and both of my vehicles are running well. Been using Wheatland Automotive for just over a year now and I have no plans or reason to go anywhere else.

I have been using Matt for 8 years and wouldn’t think of taking my cars to anybody else. He has done both routine maintenance and serious repairs to my automobiles. He has never come in over an estimate, but has come in under the estimate a number of times. Plus he takes your phone calls and keeps you informed on the status of your vehicle.

These guys know cars! I’ve dealt with many auto shops before and this is by far the most pleasant place I’ve been. First off they fixed only what was needed at an affordable cost. Secondly the service was helpful and courteous. Ask for Matt, he’s the man.

Matt is the only one who is allowed to touch my cars. I’ve taken my vehicles to Wheatland for both regular maintenance and serious repairs over the years. Fair prices and I don’t worry about if the job was done right or not. I think he is one of the last honest mechanics left in the area.

Matt is great to work with. Several of my neighbors have recommended Wheatland Auto and I’m thankful they did. What I love about this place versus the dealership is that I actually get to speak to the mechanic working on my car! The level of service is much better – and cheaper too!
