I had limited experiences with this U-Haul location as I only dropped my truck off here. The location is listed on U-Haul’s website as Mister Qwik’s. It’s pretty easy to find and also convenient. How to not get charged anything additional when returning here: *Stop at the gas station on the corner right before this U-Haul location and make sure your tank is above the line that it was at when you got it. *Make sure the back of the truck is completely cleaned out. Also, make sure that you get everything out of the glove box and the front. You wouldn’t want to leave anything behind *Check your paperwork for the return time and make sure you return before that. We intentionally picked this location as it had late evening hours. However, it was closed when we arrived, but they do have a drop box for your keys. You’d then just receive an email the following morning with the summary of charges My overall experience with U-Haul was good. The $ 19.99 they advertise is only for local moves, which makes sense. It cost me about $ 100 for 24 hours and moving approx 80 miles. I also liked that we were able to add on two movers to help us with our furniture for a few hours. U-Haul made the hassle of moving a little bit easier.

Not Trustworthy! I’ve rented from U-Haul twice before, one via Home Depot. Anyway, My reservation was to a different location but it got changed on me without warning. So I went to this location, being one hour late, in a big hurry. Big mistake. I was given papers to signed, and did as instructed. Well, it turns out I should have gone to check the mileage then come back to sign because I was overcharged FORTYMILES. FORTY. Yes. Unfortunately I was inexperienced with this and it being the second time doing it on my own, I didn’t know they are actually supposed to take me to see the mileage before I sign. So I drive a short roundtrip almost, drop it off, gas needle barely moved a millimeter. I drop off the keys, and thank my two friends profusely for their time and apologize for the delay. Then later I get an e-mail from this location about services and see that somehow my cost doubled. If the truck wasn’t used after I dropped it then the mileage clearly was way off when I picked it up. I was a fool for trusting a professional company whose agent didn’t walk me through the proper steps as he should. Now I have to dispute the charge. Ps: the owner called me, raised his voice repeatedly, interrupted me three times with two of them asking/shouting to let him finish(when I had started). I let him the first time, not the second time, then guess what? He HUNGUPONME. Do yourself a favor and drive the additional miles to a professional location.
