This is my first exposure to Pilate’s. After almost two years of sessions, I have been amazed at how this exercise strengthens and tones with low impact. Each session is unique and personalized to my specific needs. Maura, my trainer, has the expertise of a physical therapist. Her thorough knowledge of body musculature has taught me how to apply the Pilate’s Principles to specific daily routines. Essentially your workout applied to everyday life! I’m so thankful that I discovered this highly professional and fun studio.

I started coming to MKlab about a year ago when I needed something to get me moving. I had tried Pilates in the past, but only through videos, so I had pretty much no experience. Karen and Maura are awesome about meeting the needs of each individual by addressing any problems, soreness, or rehabbing that you are experiencing… and they even align the workouts to areas you may be trying to specifically focus on(such as my back and arms for my upcoming wedding!). I always leave feeling like my workout gave me that«good» type of hurt, my muscles are stretched out, and my mind is clear… and then the next day I’m feeling that oh so good soreness! Classes are small with no more than 4 people in equipment classes and mat classes usually have no more than 5 or 6. I feel that each session has done wonders for not only toning my entire body but also stress management. I get compliments all of the time and I owe it all to this place!
