Innovative Orthodontic Centers

+ not only are they poor customer service, but they triple dip with insurance companies. Be prepared if you have dual insurance companies to pay more than if they file with only one Insurance Company. There is no way that I would ever recommend this practice to anybody unless you are prepared to pay three times or more the amount. With two insurance company providers, not only do they charge the full amount to each insurance company, but they also charge the maximum amount to the patient to. They are making a windfall at the insurance company and patients expense. When you try to address this with them they just explained clearly how they are ripping you off and the insurance companies. They claim it’s some kind of violation of the law to let you know that it would be cheaper to not use two insurance companies and they make you feel like s*** for saying they are filing with the second company as a courtesy to you.
Run don’t walk from this place as they are ripoff artists! They’re braces cost more than anybody around and it is a farce!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. I and her staff. Friendly, caring and professional medical professionals who strive to meet your needs. In just under 2 years this team fixed what would have otherwise required surgery.
Invisalign is expensive, but worth every penny when it comes with the caring expertise of this staff.

Absolutely incredible practice. From the receptionists to the technicians to the doctor, everyone we have encountered on each visit has made us feel comfortable, taken their time and not rushed us through anything. The practice is entirely open and parents are encouraged and welcomed back into the area where they do all the magic. :) They have gone above and beyond and I recommend them to everyone, especially anyone that has a child with any sensory issues or spectrum challenges. My daughter has SPD and is particularly sensitive with her mouth. Everyone here at the practice takes their time with her, has her giggling and puts her at ease. Dr. I was able to set her fears aside before she became overwhelmed and quickly placed the expander while making my daughter laugh and feel safe. Danielle and Star were also just incredibly patient and kind and never once did they pressure my daughter to do something before she was ready.

My son is 8 years old. He has a massive under bite, gap in the front teeth and basically no room for the adult teeth to grow w/​o damage to the roots. We went to an Orthodontist in Glen Ellyn as the first consultation and then our neighbor recommended Innovative Orthodontic Centers. Solution was an enhancer on the top teeth with braces shortly after. Cost was about the same and I was pleasantly surprised as I thought a Naperville practice would be more money. Reasons why we selected Innovative Orthodontics Centers are below.
1. Location. Being a Naperville resident, driving to Glen Ellyn is silly if I can just go to downtown Naperville as its only 10 minutes away. (Make sure you allow for a few extra minutes to park. I recommend the parking garage on Benton.)
2. Truly innovative. Up to date technology that provides more comfort for the patient. Example being no x-​ray trays jammed in the kids’ mouth. Instead a quick scan where my son just had to place his chin on a platform and the camera went around his head.
3. Also, the atmosphere is welcoming for children. The environment is comfortable, vibrant, fun and is not intimidating. This takes anxiety away from kids nervous about dental work.
4. Other perks: a reward point’s card for the kids so they can earn points for gift cards for places like Game Stop, an iPad station, kids’ movies and baby/​toddler games. For the adults, Keurig machine for coffee and tea.
5. Scheduling is easy and I receive text confirmations a few days before the appointment and I can reply back to confirm.
There is no lack of experience, talent and help at Innovative Orthodontics Centers. Everyone is skilled, courteous and efficient. Not to mention, they treat the children with respect and provide them info on what to expect at each visit and explains (to the parents also) how to care for their teeth after the visit. Dr. Ibrahim works with each patient at each visit. They take great care in the installation of the apparatus and my son experiences no pain (just a bit of soreness the next day which is to be expected with an expander). I have already seen results with the expander and it’s only been 1.5 months since it was installed. He got his brackets on the top teeth today. As soon as he got home, he went to play outside with his friends as if nothing happened today.
I am thrilled with the our choice to use Innovative Orthodontics Centers as my son is having a great experience and it’s easier for him to handle it as no kid (I think) wants braces.

I have been a patient with Innovative for 4+ years, and today was my last visit. Every time I go in, im greeted with smiling faces and friendly people. Dr. Ibrahim is very personable, and is very driven to get her patients very clean and straight teeth. Innovative Orthodontic is always up to date with their technology to make the visits fast and efficient. Every other staff member is also on the same page as Dr. I, in that they are all very personable and friendly as well. No one likes to go through orthodontic work, but this office makes it at least a little better.
I would highly recommend Dr. Ibrahim and her Naperville office, Innovative Orthodontic Center to any friends or family.

oh my — how to say this… one is taken in as they are impressed with the hi-​tech office. the friendly staff. and the dr who acts so caring. THEN — things change quickly. once there is a problem everything changes. the dr becomes snippy and unfriendly. even attacking you. your issues are never addressed — even the reason you came there in the first place! they seem to have done things that didn’t even need to be done! and i paid for that! they even wanted to charge more for things that should have been in the initial quote. you leave knowing your thousands and thousands of dollars were wasted as you are in worse shape than when you went there. i wish i would have read all these reviews before i was impressed with the show before i got to know the performers… Go somewhere else — ANYWHERE!!!

Where to begin. First let me say that before I moved to Naperville I was very happy with my sons’ previous orthodontist in Gurnee, IL. I can’t say the same for my experience with Innovative. Most important warning is WATCH OUT FOR HIDDEN COSTS! We have pretty good insurance and we just recently found out that there is still a $ 240 upgrade fee for Invisalign. Innovative «estimated» that insurance would cover it but they don’t. Then we were told today that the practice highly recommends a certain retainer. Oops, that’ll cost you an extra $ 500. These two extra charges were NEVER brought to my attention during our lengthy 15 months of visits. The women who work there politely listened to me with their broad smiles, but I left feeling like, well, it looks like you’ll have to cough up the money.
There are plenty of orthodontists in the area; find another one.

I dont get the bad reviews ive seen. Dr. I and her staff are wonderful. For example, one of my brackets came off got an appt first thing the next morning. On another occasion the bottom wire broke called and got in the same day. All I can say is dr. I and her staff is all that. If u have concerns, by all means go check her out. Appreciate the staff at Innovative Orthodontics!!!

After nearly two years of treatment (after being originally told 6 – 9 months) I am completely dissatisfied with the end results. I just started treatment with another orthdontist and will be wearing metal braces because the invisalign did not properly correct issues that I expressed several times to Manal. Based on my experience, I would say go to a practice where the customer experience is better. I do not believe the doctor or her subordinates addressed my issues or took me seriously. Now I have to pay out of pocket again for something that should have been done correctly the FIRST time.

Been to quite a few orthodontic offices for my family and I and it just never seemed right, that is until we went to see Dr. Ibrahim. She made us all feel like family and welcome in her office. Her staff has always greeted us with a smile and my kids love going to see them!
I’m very happy to have a doctor who cares about our concerns and will always recommend Dr. Ibrahim to anyone!

If you want an impersonal and uncaring relationship with your orthodontist, this is the practice for you. Very difficult to get an appointment at a convenient time — almost no after school appointments. If you have an emergency, it is equally difficult to get an appointment, unless you are willing to take one time slot that they have available in their Joliet office, which is very far south on Rt. 59. We have only seen Dr. Ibrahim once during the initial consultation since we’ve been in the practice for almost 1 year.
