We ate here using our Groupon that I had purchased. It was a $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food. I ended up paying an additional $ 8 for an 18 inch cheese and sausage pizza! Very pricy for pizza in my opinion! Their menu online is worthless, only giving prices for a small size pizza. What is that all about? We drove to the restaurant to get a menu and the lady wasn’t sure where the carry out menus were and another customer found us one. Had I not already had the groupon, this might have been a clue. We called in the pizza to be told it was a 40 minute wait for pick up. Went to get the pizza and the lady working there was clueless and super slow. Three people in front of us took 10 minutes to be taken care of. When she got to us, she was clueless on what to do with the groupon, she had to recalculate our price(which most people would subtract $ 20), and she didn’t have any change to give us back! Not very organized or knowledgeable for being in business for a while! The pizza itself was delicious! We had a medium crust cheese and sausage pizza. It was super cheesy which was awesome! The sausage was somewhat spicy, but very tasty just a shock to the unaware palate. The crust very good too. I give the pizza a high rating, but the price will keep me away!

Great pizza and FRESH pasta(if you have never had fresh pasta, you must try). Franco takes great pride in his food and it shows. We will be back. It is a bit pricey and can take a little longer than other pizza places, but worth it.

I guess this opened up almost a year ago in what I like to call«my strip mall» aka it’s a stone’s throw from my parent’s house and I basically grew up here, harmonizing with friends ala barbershop quartet for an extra 12 cents for Dilly Bars. Literally. The pizza places that have inhabited this strip mall over the past 25+ years are Nancy’s(yuck), Giuseppe’s(barfo) and Festa Pizza, which supplied hot lunch at our elementary school once a month and really wasn’t good over the age of 9. So I am happy to see this non-corporate, ambitious new place open up. However, the pizza fell kinda flat. I got the Margherita and it was far too doughy. Like they’d rather have my pizza ready in 15 minutes than let it crisp up a little more. In Franco’s defense, I’d had Pequod’s that day(yeah, pizza twice in one day, it happens) so Franco’s had a ton to live up to. I will absolutely go back, if not only to tell the owner more stories about the prior tenants in my beloved strip mall. He was very nice for humoring me and for that, I should give an extra star. But I will wait for my return trip.

First time ordering from Franco’s. The online ordering is slick. You can build your pizza, add items and watch your total add up. Now the bad part: it took an hour for the pizza to be ready — and that was for a pick up! Now the good part: the pizza was very good. Fresh ingredients that looked like they were just picked from the garden and a foldable thin crust. When I picked up the pies, they told me the one pizza, a simple cheese and pepperoni, did not turn out to their quality level. They gave me an identical pizza for free. My family thought they were both very good. So three stars for quality and service. However, pizza is a little pricey and waiting an hour seemed a bit much. Will definitely try again

My experience was catering out a large order as I often do for my work. The owner took great care of me. Great service and threw in extras so we can try them. I had not had Rice Balls(Arangini) in a very long time and they were fabulous. The pizza was the best I have had in the area, Pasta and Salad good too. Homemade bread! who can ask for more. The food was ready on time, fresh and delish. I will certainly be calling again.

Last week, I ran a half marathon and was down to my lowest weight in over a decade. Today, I just ate an entire pizza meant to serve 2 – 3 adults all by lonesome. My, oh my, how the times have changed. It’s days like this where I consider hanging a sign from my neck that reads«Please, don’t feed the bears.» It’s just a horrible cycle and it starts with one piece of pizza, and ends 360 degrees of doughy, saucy, cheese laden goodness later. Ugh. Someone get this pizza box away from my face so I can stop scraping my manicure against cardboard to grab what little scraps of flavor might still be left. Apparently, Franco’s opened up around 6 months ago in the location that is very, VERY near my abode. So close, in fact, that when I run my long running route, I actually«zip»(if you can consider a 10+ minute mile ‘zipping’) past this place twice while looping different sub-divisions. Can you say dangerous? I mean, it’s hard enough to keep my slow joggin’ ass out of the Dairy Queen next door, and now I gotta try and keep away from some of the most delicious, buttery thin crust I’ve ever had?! Torture. Not to mention, I work from home and the number of places that deliver to my house are severely lacking. I have a feeling Franco’s will be joining my list of speed dial favorites within the week. I dig Franco’s thin crust because it’s a little non-conventional. More than being cracker thin, it’s actually best compared to the likes of phyllo dough. It doesn’t look it at first, but once you bite in and get to the crust point(that I normally don’t even eat), you think you’re biting into a flatter, crispier, more light-weight croissant or baklava layer rather than a more cumbersome(Seven Mary Three remembrance) crust bite like some other ‘za joints. Sadly for my fitness and weight-loss routine, I know I’ll be back. Probably quite frequently, but hopefully not while stopping mid-marathon for a slice. Dear Lord, Please grant me the serenity to ignore the thin, flaky layers of Italian goodness and run past Franco’s P, P&P so I can do my best to do a body G. Amen, Hallelujah and all that fancy jazz, Candice G

My family’s gotten pizza from this place a few times, and I have to say: top rate… maybe… who knows? Well, the first time we ordered, the pizza took about 2 hours to arrive. Something I don’t think should happen. When the pizza arrived, it was still pipping hot and delicious, which makes me think that they were ridiculously backed up that night. My mother and father were sorely disappointed by the experience. I, personally, expected a pizza of «Nancy’s» caliber, given that they took over the physical location of what was once a Nancy’s. I was surprised by it. The cheese was fresh, the sauce was sharp and the toppings were fresh. I absolutely loved the pizza. The only issue I has in consistency. The first time we got their pizza, it was very cheesy and late, the second time it wasn’t so cheesy and on time, but the crust was more doughy and the third time it was doughy with lots of cheese. I didn’t dislike any of those times, but my parents have differing opinions on which was the best time we’ve gotten the pizza. Fact remains, though: it’s great pizza. I’m absolutely loved it, every time we’ve gotten in. And I found their fried mushrooms to be amazing!

Located in a stripmall in the middle of several Naperville –esqe subdivisions, that’ll easily make you get lost. The sign on top said Giuseppe’s Pizza but they must of changed owners or something as there were a few small signs advertising for a Franco’s Pizza and had various people coming in and out that weren’t customers. Inside was small, mainly carry-out with a high table against the window and some chairs. Ordered a 12″ thin with sausage. Guy there was really nice, think his name was Frank and he sounded like he was from Elmwood Park, which is always a good sign. $ 19 was my total. Now, expensive doesn’t do justice as that was the price for a 12″ thin with sausage, which makes it insanely expensive!!! As soon as I took a bite, my mouth literally went into taste orgasm. Good mother of god was the pizza ridiculously delicious!!! Crust wasn’t super delicate but was delightfully soft and the sausage topping tasted of high quality, like it came from a reputable good butcher. Haven’t got to the best part, which was the sauce. No tomato purée here as the sauce had so much flavor and seemed like it came from a farmer, had a couple small tomato chunks in the pizza. I’m really torn here as I know the best doesn’t come cheap but $ 19 was really pushing it. I recommend coming here if you’re not on a strict eating out budget, everyone should try the pizza at least once.
