Finishes Carpets & Interiors

Sorry, but I can’t recommend this place. I should have done more homework before buying a countertop from them. While it’s in and looks okay, that result had nothing whatsoever to do with Finishes as their involvement just added an unnecessary step.
In the description here it states: «We also fabricate and install countertop materials such as: Cambria (Quartz), Ceasarstone (Quartz), Granite, Marble, Silestone and Corian»
That is a lie, plain and simple. They have no shop, they themselves do not do any countertop work, but instead farm it out to partners just like the big box stores do.
Worse, when you talk to the owner Beverly, she will look you in the eye and tell you she is a «dealer» for companies when she clearly is not. Her partner is the dealer, and she just has a little box of samples to show you. She only has one small chunk of granite installed in the store and no quartz.
Beverly also claimed to have used the «same guys for over 10 years» but the «guys» she uses havem’t even been in business that long.
I may or may not mind people using partners, but don’t lie to me about it. I came here to do business with a local firm and cut out the middleman and the risks involved with dealing with the big box stores. These guys are nothing but middlemen when it comes to countertops. What exactly am I getting for the markup they add, a box of samples? Finishes didn’t even show up for the measurements. At least the big box stores have buying power to (maybe) get you a lower price, Finishes does not.

If all you are is a designer or general contractor, then say so. Perhaps they actually do their own work for floors? I’ll never know as I don’t do business with people who lie to my face and add no value.
