First, not a five star hotel but for mid level hotel, it is one of the best I’ve stayed in. Friendly staff. They were great when we had to edit our stay last minute due to weather. And very nice in person as well. Well-sized, clean rooms and bathroom. Good quality shampoo. Comfy beds. Microwave, fridge, and coffee in room. Good desk space in room. Very good quality free breakfast provided. Bagels, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Also not too far from train station to the city. I would stay again when in this area and recommend to others.

I guess it’s been renovated recently, so a lot of these reviews might not be so updated? I stayed here for a week and I’ve got to say, it’s pretty modern. Rooms were clean, beds were soft, and the bath towels were actually really soft. Probably one of the softest I’ve had in recent hotels visits. Breakfast is complimentary and is pretty extensive — scrambled eggs, waffle maker, sausage, Canadian bacon. Also muffins, Danishes, cereal and bagels if carbs is your thing. Fresh fruits, yogurt and packaged oatmeal is also available. Not too shabby. Coffees, bigelow tea bags round out your caffeine fix. The one thing I didn’t like, which is a must for me usually, is they do NOT provide lotion in the hotel room. You can buy it, but it’s not offered. The shampoo and conditioner was nice,(Pantene Pro-V), but I really needed lotion. I’d stay again if need be, but without an onsite restaurant and places within walking distance(except for Cracker Barrel), you better bring back food before coming back to the hotel after a long day’s work.

For a lower end Marriott, I couldn’t tell the difference between this and a SpringHill. I have always been a patron of Marriott brand. The hotel is very clean, breakfast was pleasant and accommodating. When I travel on business I don’t like all the fuss you have to deal with in a full service. The location is great. If you don’t have access to a vehicle, you are within comfortable walking distance of plenty to do and many great choices of restaurants.

First, let me start with the positives: rooms are ok. Pretty clean, beds are comfortable and smell like bleach(reassuring). Cons: 1) Started our visit with the hotel insisting they had to charge my card $ 240 when I walked in. For two nights, our charge was $ 192. The rest was in case we occurred charges. Well, I get that. The issue was that I had a $ 100 gift card, so they should only charge $ 140. They would not. On top of having my card declined by my bank the first time because I was out of state and forgot to tell them, this was not the extra stress I needed. I was assured I will get the $ 100 off at checkout… which is left to be seen. 2) We were put in room 106. DONOT let them give you this room. There was a herd of baseball players here and they and their dads were out in the front yelling and screaming and my 5 year old was woken up many times. You are right next to the front area and it is horrible. 3) You are also next to the ice machine… you can hear the ice everytime people get ti and these people evidently RELLY like ice. 4) The hotel is under construction. I was not aware of this when booking. It does not say that anywhere. I feel this is something should be made aware of as the construction does happen during the day, but it was when my son was napping the first day. The 2nd day we knew this and he napped at my friends house. 5) There is no extras in the room like a microwave and fridge. 6) the rooms were not in the best shape. See photo of the ceiling in my room. It was not a roach motel by any means, but the noise. Not cool. The issue with charging me incorrectly… not cool.

Y’know for a vintage 80s corporate country inn right off the interstate, this was OK. It was clean; the décor was really dated(seriously it was giving me flashbacks). The breakfast selection was decent(make your own hot waffle!). The bedscape included 5 pillows but the A/C in my room needed to be set in the low 60s to make the room cool. The TV was brandspanking new and really nice. So good & bad, the price was bit high, I thought(about $ 100 a night) but that seemed to be the going rate for the area and I did feel safe.
