Autumn Run Apartments

If you rent anywhere, please do not rent here. I moved in 2013 and just recently left. They have a squirrel epidemic! Squirrels have gotten beneath my hood and did extensive damage over 5 times! I know nature is nature, but I asked the complex to contact animal control so they could at least put traps out, and they did nothing. They said there’s nothing they can do. No matter where you park, if your hood is closed, you will have an issue. Also, the office is closed on Saturday and they only see people who have an appointment. Good luck getting any packages! They put in new roofs in fall of 2015, and when they replaced my skylights they never fixed the wood trim. The walls are so thin I can hear everything my neighbors do from having sex, showering, watching tv, arguing, babies crying, basically everything they do you can hear! I used to turn my tv off because I could hear my neighbors! I had a leaking ceiling three times in my bedroom. I also noticed that they painted over wallpaper, tacky! Parking is terrible, good luck finding a space, and its not assigned so people that don’t even live there park for months on end. They never trim trees that extend over your steps-​you ever been smacked in the face with a tree branch? If you drive around the complex you might wonder why cars have their hoods open; its because of the squirrels. They never mail out rent statements, so you have to call them or walk in to get your rent amount. The rooms are a decent size, but more on the small side. The bottom line is this place is a joke!

This place is the worst. Everything is old and it’s not worth what you pay in rent. They don’t care if you complain that your neighbors smoke weed and if it smells up your apartment. Their solution is that they will «hand deliver candles to them to burn while they smoke.» The security door is constantly broken and the workout room is a joke because that equipment is also always broken. Staff goes in and out of my apartment and they never leave notes saying what they were doing. Office staff can never answer my questions and there is no way to get out of your lease early unless you pay them to show it and hope someone leases from you. I would never recommend that anyone live here in a million years. Super shady and unimpressive. One plus is that Chuck knows the tenants well and takes care of the outside of the property even though people ruin his hard work.

We were all set to move in (from out of state) at a determined rate and deposit and 2 days before we get the keys we get a call that the management has changed hands and we were going to have to come up with THREE times the quoted amount or not move in at all. We chose to walk and were at least given the deposit we did pay back but had to find another apartment at the last minute. All from 5 states away! After finally making it to this area we are glad we didn’t move here. The traffic surrounding the area of this apartment is HORRENDOUS.

My last review was to the tee. I’m so annoyed with this place. I called several times and left messages about a question I had. No one responded to me. Also the indoor pool is supposed to be open 10 – 10 but doors locked at 8? Wth! I would call and ask but I probably won’t get a call back. Yes this place is cheap but no worth the service. Go somewhere better.

Comletely unprofessional staff and a poorly run business. We drove all the way from Grand Rapids, MI to see an open listing today at 3pm, Sat., 3÷22÷2014 with Sanju, the meeting was set up by Lindsey late in the afternoon on Friday. We arrived 10 min. early and we’re asked to come back by Sanju because she was busy. We came back in at exactly 3pm and some walk-​in was signing a lease on the apartment we were supposed to be seeing. How would that make you feel? You get what you pay for here. Imagine if you had an issue while you lived there? STAY AWAY!

This apartment is nightmare. The unit is old inside. Old appliances that have extremely low efficiency and noisy. A far as wall noise isolations, I would hear my upstairs neighbour every move from walking to turn on their faucet and my next neighbour’s talking and TV sound…
Even worse, this apartment has no internet service from Comcast or AT&T, the only choose is an unheard company called «Suite Solutions», my internet was dropping multiple times per night.
Office staff is rude and not trustworthy. The rent increased about 10% for me from 2010 to 2011. Don’t get fooled by a little lower price they offered by compare with other apartment in the area. They will find a way to get that difference back from you. At the time I move out, I did final walk thought with their staff, they told me no problem of the unit, and I will get my deposit back soon. Three weeks later, I got a check from that only has 50% of my deposit. I called them, they don’t even bother to explain but hang off the phone.
