Rented an RV thru these guys and the service from the company was nothing short of rude and terrible. Customer service is not in their vocabulary. I rented the RV on Thursday for Memorial Day weekend and returned it early on Monday, even though they were closed. Had no reason to keep it until Tuesday. I was welcomed with more attitude when I brought the keys in this morning and could not wait to get out of this negative vibe. The place smells like 20 years of cigarette smoke and has a cat clawing around the place. Luckily I have rented from cruise America a number of times and the RV itself gave us a great weekend, otherwise I would affiliate the two companies as one.

They don’t repair«almost anything» as their website states, and the woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and sarcastic. We needed a simple repair done on our lawn mower, and she told me «why don’t you just go out and buy a new one?» Um, well, because it is a simple repair that is needed on a 2-month old mower. That’s why. «Well, where’d ya get it from? Why don’t you just take it there?» I bought it on amazon. The price to ship it back would considerable. «Where are you even calling from? You have a 312 area code??» It’s called a cell phone. I live down the block. And this matters, because??? «Well, we charge $ 35 just to even look at it, and 2 of our guys are off camping right now, soooo» Okey dokey. Thanks for all your assistance and your very unhelpful opinions. Terrible impression and experience. Ugh.

I have never been talked to so rudely on the phone before. On April 18, 2013 I called this company only to have an older man practically bite my head off as I was explaining to him the problem we were having with our portable generator. I told him gas was flowing out of the bottom as we were putting the gas in and he said, «what’d ya do, leave gas in it?» The gas was only in it for 2 months and the manufacturer said you can leave it in a year and it will not hurt it. He continued to have a smart attitude when I asked what the store hours were and how long it would take to have it checked and repaired under the warranty since we only used it once since it was purchased in December. He said, «we won’t even look at it for at least two weeks and proceeded to tell me the store hours and was so rude. I just can’t get over it. Needless to say, another shop repaired it under the warranty. He was very kind and helpful.
