Trahan Winery

Absolutely loved this place! I noticed it while having breakfast across the street and stopped by later. LeAnne was pouring and the wine was incredible. This place is family owned and she’s familiar with all the history and background of the wines. I was there for several hours and it remained quiet which I enjoyed. I got there around 2−3pm. I purchased a few bottles particularly because they sell 100% Pinot Noir which I loved! LeAnne also gave great recommendations for other spots to visit in Napa. I enjoyed her company and will definitely be back when I’m in town!

Jordan was amazing. Very knowledgable. We loved their selection. I’m a Trahan believer. Try their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Buy a bottle and save for a special occasion. Totally worth it. Perfect service. Perfect wines. Long live Napa.

Trahan is a place we stop in most anytime we are in downtown Napa. Chuck (owner) and Christine (she keeps the tasting room operating) treat us like family when we are there. We always say we are going to stay for a half hour or so and we end up staying way longer! A nice, comfy, rustic tasting room that always feels inviting.
Trahan is a family own winery that focuses on boutique wines. They source their grapes and focus on Pinot Noir from Carneros, Petit Verdot from the Suisin Valley, Cabernet from Napa and a Port wine. I personally enjoy all the wines, which is probably why I am a wine club member. Chuck continues to hone his winemaking skills and each year the wines are getting better and better (not to say they were ever bad, because they weren’t!!).
For me, this place is fantastic, awesome people, great wines (at a cost that won’t feel like a kick in the butt) and an awesome tasting environment. If you are downtown, I would highly recommend stopping in here and doing a tasting!

What a great place to enjoy amazing wine with family and friends. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. The wine at trahan is absolutely delicious and easy on the palate.

I don’t do wine tastings very often, but stopped in Napa for one evening on a road trip. This is the wine room we decided to visit. Their Cabs were uniformly excellent, and the Pinot Virot was a complete surprise-​varied and rich flavors. Staff was genial and gave us tastings of 4 additional wines not part of the flight.

Very attentive and patient waitress and taught us a lot knowledge about wine. Wonderful experience!

Came in here randomly and glad I did! Generous pours and cozy feel. Will definitely come here next time I come to Napa.

Went here with my wife and friends. I dont drink wine, but the employees here made me feel welcomed. Very joyful, good spirited people. My wife and friends had a great time. Great place to taste wine.

Delicious red wine and chardonnay! By far my favorite in Napa.

Not only is the wine delicious but the staff couldn’t be any friendlier. Trahan is a small boutique winery, and Prime is as well (both are represented at this tasting site). The longer you stay the better the experience.
My wife and I loved the Syrah and the Cabs. Swirling brought out the nose, and we were wowed. You’ve got to try this place, if for any other reason, to experience high quality wines with awesome company.
We joined the wine club — a rarity for us – and can’t wait for shipment #1. Do it.

Our tasting experience was nothing short of phenomenal! Christine was very knowledgable and educated this wine dummy all about the grapes, regions and how swirling the wine makes a difference in the taste. I’m now a wine swirler! Most amazing Sauvignon/​Chardonnay blend and Syrah I’ve ever tasted.

Just come here!!! Open till 7pm… service AMAZING (thanks, Jordan) We tasted almost everything and everything we tasted was delicious!

This place is awesome… dog friendly and the staff is very friendly. the wine is very tasty and always new and exciting

Chuck was awesome. As a fellow Cal Poly grad we shared stories the whole time we tasted. It felt like having drinks with an old friend. The small business atmosphere was appealing and the wine all taste great.

The more I visit, the more I LOVE this place. Ask for Christine. She knows Napa and wine. :-)

Great pours by an awesome friendly host Jordan! He explained each wine in a personal way where I could completely relate. Definitely a place to go to when you’re in downtown Napa. And it’s dog friendly!

Wine was great! Im a sweet person, so I like my wines sweet. Most wines I’ve had in Napa are dry and serve mainly Cabernet. The person who did our wine tasting warned me how it would taste before I sipped on it. He found some wines that I would enjoy. He taught us newbies about wine pairings with food and how the cups can effect the smell of the wine. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially to wine newbies like me!

This place has two different wine companies. They don’t produce a lot of wines per year, so they call themselves a nano winery. They buy their fruit from the area. They have a variety of wines. My favorite was called grandpa. The tasting fee was waived since I purchased two bottles of wine. The sommelier was super friendly and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. It was a great experience.

The nice lady running the wine tasting gave us not one but two free tastings on top of the five we had already selected! We also learned a lot about the history of the Trahan family and winery. Listening to fascinating storytelling while wine drunk makes for a great combination.
