I am sad to write this, but tip-top shoe repair not longer exists. Just tried to take my husbands shoe there to see if they can be repaired and no longer there. It is all just on a nail salon now.

Brought my new dress shoes in to get rubber soles put on since i hate sliding around everywhere. David the owner did an awesome job! Looks like it came from factory! He doesnt say much, but sure knows what he’s doing! Price is also a little steep, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend!

I brought my work heels in here since the sole was wearing down to the nail on the heel. To get my heels re-soled was only $ 10! This is such a steal, even if the shoes weren’t too expensive to begin with! I also asked about repairing the leather that had been ripped up on the heel, thus exposing the white underbelly of my otherwise black heels. He repaired that too, and you can only tell it was ever torn if you look really really closely. This didn’t cost anything extra. Service was quick — less than a week turnaround. I’ll be bringing all my shoes here in the future. Hint: they may or may not take cards for payment. I used cash. I’m pretty sure the cash register is from the early 1900s. It belongs in a museum.

I have a pair of beloved leather sandals I’d worn to pieces, holes in both the insole and outsole, just in tatters. Another shoe repair place told me they were past saving, plus the gum sole was unusual and hard to replace. The lovely folks at Tip Top were absolutely amazing. They couldn’t have been nicer or more charming, they resoled and repaired the shoes beautifully, and took the time to rehab them in ways I hadn’t expected, like reinforcing the worn strap. My sandals look and feel better than they have in years, and I look forward to wearing them for years to come. Thanks, Tip Top!
