I have been going here for 10 years + Service continues to deteriorate. I sat at the sushi bar for 15 minutes and wasn’t acknowledged. Finally I called their phone and watched as both owners ignored my call. They both hang out at the bar and take up valuable seating. Food is good. Service is not. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

First off, the only reason why my review isn’t a 1 star is because the service I received from only one of the girls working was excellent. I watched her speed around the restaurant working her butt off while the other server gingerly strolled around only doing one thing at a time. If someone asked for their check and another asked for another drink she would only do one at a time. The frustration I had at the end was finding out that all the tips were shared. I made it clear that the one who did all the work should get my tip so hopefully it went to the more deserved pocket. The food: meh… the sashimi had a metallic taste to it… the roll I ordered was just ok. For the price I would rather go back to Eiko’s where I know the food AND the service will be better. I may be back…

For anyone who has lived in Napa for years, they know the rotating door of sushi bars that have come and gone. First and foremost, this is by far, the best sushi, bypasses the upper scale restaurants, and an amazing family atmosphere. The wait staff are friendly, and they get people in and out if they are in a hurry, or let you sit and enjoy an evening of dining with great sushi and hot sake. Save your money on the expensive upscale places, and go here if you want the best sushi in town!

If they was a zero star review, I’d write that. Terribly bland sushi. Tried six different rolls, and they tasted the was falling apart as well. Overpriced, and the staff wasn’t paying attention to customers. Small and loud. Go elsewhere, folks.

Sushi was awful. My boyfriend almost threw up from eating the super golden gate roll. My friend asked for spicy mayo and they provided some sort of sweet sauce. We asked for beer twice, asked a different waitress for spicy mayo twice and our check twice. Our ginger for our sushi looked like it wasn’t fresh. It looked like it came from a can… Not sure how this place as 3.5 stars. The service was awful. Pick another spot to eat this spot is not the best.

Great sushi at a reasonable price. Huge selection of rolls and service is usually pretty fast

Remember folks there’s levels to this sushi thing!!! If u want upscale and trendy Sushi Haku may not be for you. But if your like me and just want regular sushi from time to time thats still tasty and doesn’t necessarily break the bank then I would definitely recommend this spot to you. Plus the waiters are always so sweet and friendly!!! BIG plus: VARIETY of speciality rolls!

Rice was not good. Raw fish was not too fresh. Salmon was good. Eel roll did not have much eel in it. Udon tasted like maruchan noodles. If food was like 50% of its current price it would be ok, but at such high prices I can find much better places.

Someone, anyone can open a new sushi place and I’m sure it will be better than this place. First we arrived at 5:15 and put in our order at 5:30, it was turning 6, and our order still hadn’t come, it’s raw fish, no need to be cooked? While the place was filling up and everyone around us was getting their food and finishing and getting their checks and leaving, I call the waitress over to cancel our food if it’s not too late, very politely and that’s it’s ok but we need to go somewhere right after, since you could obviously tell our order hadn’t gone through yet, she says that she doesn’t know what happened but that our order was being made… And tries to explain something that I can’t understand but our food gets there while she’s trying to make an excuse… It was a star for effort but nothing to write home about, not sure why it’s so full? Maybe because it’s the only sushi place that’s isn’t Morimoto? Anyways, we get our bill, and let’s Kaur say I’m not here writing this to get a free handout but to just let people know… they couldn’t even waive our drinks, a lemonade and hot tea? or offer to make the dinner a better experience or trying to change the experience to make us want to come back? Hey maybe offer your customers an apology or something? Not even an explanation or why it was taking so long? I think they could’ve just took the high road and let us leave after half an hour in? Call me impatient, but I think every restaurant has the power to change a bad start into great experience and better the situation. Hospitality, right?

First time visit with co-worker for lunch. We shared a sashimi salad and two rainbows rolls. It was delicious! It has been awhile since I have had good sushi and I can say this was some of the better sushi I have had in a long time. I hope to go again and I highly recommend them from this experience.

Sushi haku was one my favorite sushi places in town. Yet, after there horrible costumer service I am never going back there again. My co worker and I stopped in during lunch. It took then 20 minutes to come to our table and it was because I asked for menus. After they brought us our miso soups they didn’t bring us spoon. When we asked the waitress was rude and basicly threw them at us. After waiting for 45 mins for our food we asked for it to go, it was then that the waitress put in the order. We saw other costumers that came after us getting there food before us. There new waitresses are rude and inexperienced. The management should really look at who they are hiring, because the service these girls are giving service that is unacceptable and it driving loyal customers away. So save your time and go somewhere that might be more pricy but worth it.

This place was nasty as hell. I got the jackpot roll and the sushi had no flavor. The Salmon was stringy and not appetizing at all. Don’t go here. It’s a waste of money. And no you won’t be able to get you money back because it’s a sushi restaurant.

What can I say great rolls. Dragon roll is my favorite. It is a great place to go and get carryout. The Titanic roll is a close second.

One of our go-to take-out spots. Not my fave sushi in town but it does the trick! Plus it’s close to my house. It feels like it’s kind of in a declining state by the quality of the food but I will give it a chance until they give me a reason not to.

It smelled like bleach and urine where we sat. My boyfriend said the water tasted like beets. The tea wasn’t that hot and it seems like they used the beet water to make it and maybe just put it in the microwave. Sushi was ok but the best part was the meat(we ordered the bulgogi) which came in the dinner plate. Rice and salad were great & miso was eh at best. Go for the dinner plate & meat but I’d suggest take out. Service was okay not terrible

We’ve been coming here for years, but recent experiences have turned us off. 1. Slow service is more than often the case, along with what seems to be new and inexperienced/poorly trained staff. 2. A pickup order was sent home with someone else. This order was returned to the shop with the food already picked through, they then try to re-top the picked through stuff and rebag while we’re not looking. Screw that, we’re done coming here. Hopefully when you receive your order in the restaurant it’s actually freshly made and not someone’s send back. Enjoy your meal.

This restaurant has the worst service. Call in and they miss items, go in and they are understaffed. Food is ok.

I came here with a friend as we work in the area. Although the service was fast and the menu large, I was completely unimpressed. Our waiter, a younger Asian man, seemed too cool for school, and it was obvious he didn’t want to be there. We asked him to split our checks in the end, and he returned with the same check he previously gave us. The rolls were good and fresh, but definitely overpriced for a basic hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here.

OK, so we’re talking expectation-management time here: This is a four-star rating… for a strip-mall sushi joint with a giant menu of «crazy rolls» with oodles of sauce & whatnot. I stuck to a bunch of nigiri plus a simple spicy tuna roll and was quite happy with the food, particularly given the price point. The rice was good, the fish was fresh enough, and the service was on the high side of good. We also shared a plate of tempura to start which was very good. Not Japantown good, but again… strip mall sushi joint«very good». I think what I like best about Sushi Haku is that they’re not trying to be something they’re not, like one particular Napa sushi place I might mention. They are doing straight-forward sushi, some rolls geared toward the middle-of-the-road demographic, and they’re doing it «well enough». And the price is right, because I can’t afford to go to Morimoto every time I need a fix. I will definitely return, and I will definitely take my family again.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have more stars. I loved it! It’s the least bit pretentious for sushi in the Napa Valley. Nice décor, prompt wait staff, and service. I even found that it was quick to get your food after placing your order. Usually when a place is pretty busy(as it was when I went) it takes a LONG time to get your sushi orders. There was one chef that I could see and he obviously was able to keep up the pace. The place was kid friendly.
