Surprisingly good wines(red and white) to enjoy. Also bought a nice Pinot Gris dessert wine.

Went and did the 75 small bites with wine tasting. Our tour guide was very nice and the weather was amazing. Could have been a little more informative but we enjoyed the relaxed feel… Unlike some snoody doody places in Napa. Beautiful winery but a few flaws in system. Wine tasting was done in the middle of the facility… Was a bit uncomfortable since people were walking back and fourth… It was literally one table and two chairs in the middle of a room that separated the cave and the main tasting room. Very awkward … Didn’t want attention brought to us. Would have enjoyed the tasting in the cave instead… Another complaint is in regards to quality control! Food was well presented. Had lamb with lentils but found two small pebbles in the lentils … Isn’t that the first thing people do when they buy them… To make sure they are free of sand/dirt/rocks? Thank goodness my friend didn’t break her tooth…

Beautiful winery… even made beautiful by their delicious wines! Definitely well worth a visit! The estate is just gorgeous. The tasting room gets packed so it might be better to make a res especially if it’s a big group. I’m a big fan of their Pinot Noir and their Pinot Blanc… Try it!!!

I wish I could rate this place lower than 1 star. Please understand — I am a frequent reviewer, this is not some review of a disgruntled one-time Unilocaler. We made a reservation the week of for the coming Saturday for our«happy maybe final birthday» for my friend, Kim, who has stage 4 cancer. I obviously can’t stress how important it was for us that the day went off without a hitch. When we arrived, they told us or reservation was for a random day in October. Huh?! OK maybe a misunderstanding… Except the hostess told us there was nothing she could do, not even selling us wine we could take home. Multiple large spots opened at the bar while we waited. We asked if we could walk up but the bartender rudely asked us to back off to let a couple walk up… The couple was already AT the bar and we were nowhere near them… What?! We were so humiliated and upset we started to walk out. A gentleman walked up claiming to work with the winery. He merely asked for what had happened. He offered nothing to mitigate our awful experience, not even lukewarm apologies. At no point did we ever hear the words«I’m sorry» or any such variant from any employee of this vineyard. Stay far, far away from this horrible place! Edited to respond to owner’s comments: I do appreciate the response, however, the story told does not line up with the facts. We had already waited for ~15 minutes but had been shunted to the side repeatedly by the hostess. We were finally told it would be a wait of 1 hour+ to MAYBE get a table, if we were lucky enough to fit around existing reservations, so of course at that point the group elected to leave. But I like how you phrased it as «stormed out» — that choice of words perfectly characterizes the belittling manner with which we were treated the entire time. I was one of the last to leave, and so I did speak with JB — as I already mentioned he NEVER offered the table/wine combo you’ve claimed so I am disappointed you are choosing to further mischaracterize the interaction. If JB felt he didn’t have a chance to adequately make this offer, of course you all had our contact info via the reservation made and if you truly wished to make the situation right, you could have done so.

Love this place! The wine pairing with the small plate of goodies just makes it a total positive wine tasting experience. They are still renovating — the place is going to look amazing when it is finished. Five stars all the way!
