Kwikee Mart

Who doesn’t like a Kwikee? This is a fun little convenience store. They have a good selection of breakfast items, and reasonable prices. Sometimes it has a food truck in its lot, so parking can be tricky. Friendly, fast service. The perfect Kwikee.

I heart this place. Quick. friendly staff. all day. every day! I bring my son their on a daily basis for his slurpee and donuts. Recently I had gone there (oh yea after the LAST day of Chef’s Market 2013) and idk what I was thinking but I ended up locking my keys in my car. yeah tell me about it. I go in there. and I ask if the pay phone outside works. he looks at me like. uh no. I told him my dilemma. he laughs and hands me the phone. c’mon. who does that nowadays. They always try to have my smokes in stock. if not. they always make sure to order (the next day or same day even). so when I come back. they’re stocked. They’re also open pretty late. and have milk. nuke foods. you know those. awe man. i forgot to get it while I was at the grocery store. and I’m not standing in that grocery store line for one item. kind of store.

I enjoy going to Kwikee mart i actually live across the street from them and if i need something small and quick and i can just go across the street and get what i need.

Here’s the kind of place where every time you pull into the parking lot, a tank-​like truck is backing out.
But, you can’t beat the Kwikee Mart (not to be confused with Springfield’s Kwik-​E-​Mart). For instance, every time I go to Knob Hill or Vallerga’s or Safeway and try to buy a bag of Cheetos, a carton of Chunky Monkey, a pack of smokes, beef jerky, and an energy drink — I usually get «I hope you don’t consume all of this at once». Then come the odd stares from others in line waiting to purchase vegetables or cucumbers.
Not at Kwikee Mart. You can buy a 22-​oz of Bud, a bag of Tootsie Rolls, and a maple bar and she is happy to have you stop by. No frills (no ‘paper or plastic?’, no ‘price checks’ or ‘coupons’) — just the goods.
At times, a line will form. for the forties and the Froot Loops… or a bag of smoked almonds and Mtn Dew… Getting those snacks for the long drive back home.
