Go here! Now! Came here after a visit to Jessup Cellars(also part of the Good Life Wine Collective). Had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting and molecular gastronomy pairing put on by Judd. The ambiance is super cool… big table, lots of vinyl records, great wine. We even had the pleasure of tasting straight from the tanks of one Jessup sauv. blanc being made and one Humanitas sauv. blanc. Loved learning about the philanthropy of this business and even closed our tasting in prayer. Would recommend this place to anyone. Now we just need to make it to Handwritten wines…

What a great experience. This is the type of wine tasting that is great for all levels of wine lovers. Our party of 10 had a great welcome from Zeke and a chance to select a choice of music on actual records to go with our experience … Zeke was great as we toured the facility and made it back to a beautiful table, cool tastings and the best wine I had all weekend.

What an awesome tasting experience! Not only is the wine incredible, but ZEKE is the MAN! The wine pairings were unbelievable! The record collections of classic vinyl is amazing! Loved the Russian River Pinot, and the Zinfandel! Cheers ZEKE and thanks for getting us in on short notice!

I really enjoyed Humanitas! The location was in a secluded, business-like area of Napa, so at first, it may throw you off, but once inside the place, you’re treated well! I believe Humanitas is by appointment only, so make sure to call in advance. When you walk in, you are greeted warmly, and even asked to select any of the numerous records they have in their collection. They even provide a glass of one of their wines before you begin your molecular gastronomy experience. Once I had my wine in hand, my group and I were taken to see where the wines were being made(in a large room behind the wine tasting area), and we even got to try one of the wines in the tanks(so cool!) After, we were taken to what we came for– the molecular gastronomy experience! The set-up was really nice, four wine glasses, three tasting spoons, and the bottles of wine from each glass. The pairings of the«caviars» in the tasting spoons went surprisingly REALLYWELL with each wine– the experience was unlike any I’ve had in Napa! Try it for yourself, I’m not sure if they rotate their pairings, but I’ll be sure to refer my friends to Humanitas if they’re ever in Napa. They also donate a portion of their sales to local charities– hence the name«Humanitas»!

Just Passing Through And Manage To Pick Up 2nd Bottle of Sauvignon Blanc! SITREP This was the first winery I hit right after the new year, kicking off 2015 to a MOSTEXCELLENT start. Fell in love with their place and their new vintages, so I had been jone’sin to get back here. THESETUP After participating in a fun birthday celebration for a sweet friend, our party drank up the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc I had purchased here. But over the weekend, opportunity *struck* when I finished a tour at one winery and Humanitas was within«easy striking distance» to check out again and grab another bottle to put in my very hungry wine rack! NEWDECOR It also was sweet to see the new lighting system in place in the wine showroom — like miniature globes of a luminescent mother earth, quite beautiful in a subdued twilight glow. THELOWDOWN Mad props to staff for letting me «crash» to pick-up another bottle of their most delectable vintage of Sauvignon Blanc!

I am really impressed with Unilocal’s Flight Club Event, many thanks to CM Kevin B and Cellar Pass for introducing a visionary winery, Humanitas( ) where All orders generate donations to charities: Habitat for Humanity, Food Banks, etc. With a great location in South Napa region closer to the Bay, the winery has designed winetasting experience that will satisfy the curiosity of the wine enthusiasts at various level; Enter, the«molecular gastronomy» pairing. Executive Chef and Wizard Mike C. Created a few spoon-sized meal that compliments the beauty and the complexity of the wine. The goal is to provide wine drinkers and chefs and any curious minds with inspirations and insights to wine and how it has always be of cultural importance to foods in many parts of Europe and beyond. It certainly is a lot of fun to argue, to ponder, and cherish the millions of possibility that you can find and create on your next dining experience at home or at a restaurant. Humanitas can help you start that hobby. Winemaker Rob Llyod has created a great selection of wine here at Humanitas, a part of the Good Life Wine Collectives who are also behind the makings of Jessup Cellar as well as Handwritten located in Yountville and St. Helena respectively. Make an appointment and Drink Charitably.

Delicious wines! Hand crafted small production. Tasted most of them made in the facility at a Unilocal event. Zinfandel is a fruit bomb style like your Italian grandpa used to make in his basement. Portion of profits are donated to local charities where the wine is sold. Call ahead to make an appointment for a tasting.
