First off, excellent location. Located around downtown Napa, in the Oxbow market. Food is always so fresh & cooked perfectly. Everything is organic and gluten free as well! Definitely come here. DISCLAIMER: it is a bit pricey for the portions but it is Napa.

The egg and chorizo taco my husband ordered was flavorful– but it took forever. And even though he was given a buzzer, they did not buzz him. So it was not as warm as he would have liked. The seating area is ok, but I don’t think we’ll be back. There just were not enough people in line to justify the wait we had.

Amazing food! Tacos are delicious! They have so many gluten free options. We had ate here a few times and there isn’t a bad thing on the menu. All grass fed. Can’t go wrong here. A++

Wasn’t really expecting to get anything in the market but saw someone eating a taco and for only $ 5 decided I needed to get one. I had the potato and scrambled egg taco and it was amazing. Totally hit the spot and used local and fresh produce. Plus the market’s atmosphere was great. Loved it.

Not impressed with the service here. We ordered to go chicken salad and they accidentally made one to go and the other to dine in. The one that was made to dine in was very good(albeit $ 15), but the one made to go did not have ANY salad dressing on it and we were made to add the chicken ourselves(given in a separate container), but WITHOUT dressing! I felt bad for my friend and gave her some of my salad.

Swung by for a quick lunch before heading off to winery stop number 2 for the day, solid pre-wine meal. Got the half chicken meal which I thought was a good value, for one person it will be very filling but was all around a tasty bird. Not much else to say, a good option.

This is my go to place when in Napa. Oxbow is pretty much my happy place and I always get a taco at Casa. I love the duck and lamb tacos. Just a little bigger than traditional street tacos and totally filling. This place is gluten free and the same people own Cate & Co. Which is a gluten free bakery. I’m not gluten free but a friend of mine has a crazy wheat allergy and so I’m always on the look out for a good gluten free place. Prices are also great for Napa which can get $$$.

Great gluten free and vegan(mostly) lunch after riding our bike from Vallejo! We had the avocado taco(more like a cold salad, but excellent), the potato taco(didn’t sound that good to me, but it was really, really good too — wonderful sauce), the nachos with white beans(vegetarian, could have been vegan without the cotijo cheese, and delicious!). They make the tortillas to order, which were a highlight. We topped it all off with a Mexican Chocolate Brownie that may be the best gluten free brownie we’ve ever had — light and cake-like with some cinnamon/sugar topping, almost like a cross between a brownie and coffee cake. The restaurant is 100% gluten-free, and it has a good selection of vegetarian entrees can be made vegan upon request. The owner came by and asked how we liked our meal. She was very personable and«hands-on», even going so far as to clean up tables herself. I think her involvement in the details must be one of the reasons this restaurant executes so well. Casual venue in the Oxbow Market, but far exceeded our expectations.

Carnitas tostada with lime crema and cheese on side. Carnitas was juicy. Tostada crispy. Perfect with my savignon blanc. First time in Oxbow Market and loved it.

A good place to grab a small bite and keep exploring Napa. I stopped by after my morning workout so I was starving. I ordered the pork«carnitas» tostada and a glass of pinot noir. I went to the outside table to enjoy the weather and my glass of wine. The ambient is crowded, well you are eating at the matket. The wine was really good, not too heavy for a red but either too light. A perfect red for thespring weather. I picked up my tostada and started to enjoying it. But it wasn’t the best. The first bite, I grabbed a piece of fat. That took me off. Then the taste it wasn’t carnitas, and believe me, I know how carnitas taste. The meat wasn’t good, it was lacking on seasoning for carnitas. Then they used white beans instead of the regular delicious black. May be because I had tostadas before I was expecting more. I was a little disappointed but I will probably give another opportunity to try the fish tacos and then I will let you know how it went.

C casa is inside the Oxbow market. For some reason I usually find myself choosing C casa when we come to oxbow and while there isn’t anything wrong with it, it’s never too exciting. There is such amazing places to eat inside Oxbow I would recommend trying something else. This is like a fusion mexican food and the food just seems a little strange and hard to eat. The staff is a little rude too but perhaps that is a language barrier. I wouldn’t say don’t go here but perhaps consider somewhere else.

ALLGLUTENFREEMENU Wow. I didn’t expect to come across an entirely gluten free eatery here. This place is located in The Oxbow Public market and is the sister store to Cate & Co., which is the gluten free bakery a few stalls down. I tried the salmon taco and the salmon dinner, both which were very good(and pricey). Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are a gluten-free eater in Napa.

Price is steep, taco is average nothing spectacular really. It looks a lot but it’s stacked with lettuce. I got a casa chicken taco and pork carnitas tostada w a blue moon draft and it came out to be around $ 17. I like the atmosphere however, it’s located in the oxbow public market so with people in and out, it’s very lively and fun. Wouldn’t go here again particularly but I would love to try other vendors surrounding it.

An ideal trip to Napa, from my perspective: 1. Pick up wine club from Black Cat Winery. Look it up… you will thank me later. 2. A gluten free baguette from Cate & co. 3. Duck taco and black bean nachos from C Casa. #bestdayever __ These tacos are amazing, beautiful, gluten free, celiac-safe, and Effin’ out of this world. Every other taco in this universe should be ashamed of itself.

My friends and I stopped by Oxbow Public Market for breakfast/brunch before a day in Napa. There aren’t really that many food options there and I wasn’t really feeling the only other option that was really open, so I went with C Casa instead. Really pricey for tacos. Most of their meat tacos are $ 7 – 8 each, which was way more than I was willing to pay for a single taco. I went with 2SCRAMBLEDEGGTACOS($ 5 each) instead, which are available for breakfast and have goat cheese, pico de gallo, greens, avocado and cilantro. There’s normally chipotle aioli as well, but I’m not a fan of aiolis so I left that out. Overall, just okay, nothing special. Pretty healthy breakfast option though(without the aioli).

When the line wraps around the eating area, you know the food is going to be good. People don’t wait in long lines for mediocre food(and if you’re friends with people who are… you may want to rethink that friendship). Since I’d been sampling from all of the eateries in the Oxbow Marketplace, I didn’t get a ton of food here although I wish I had. In the end, a rotisserie duck taco and a skirt steak taco made their way to my table. Both tacos were delicious! I definitely liked the duck taco the best though. Wish I’d had room for the spiced lamb, but there’s always tomorrow. The chipotle salsa that they have out in containers is OK, but the Serrano salsa… Get it. Really though the best thing about this place is the handmade tortillas. You don’t often go to a place that makes their own tortillas, and these tortillas are great! And, it’s all gluten free!

Order a shrimp cocktail and then dump it on the small chopped salad. BOMB. Lunch for 3 salad eating girls was $ 52.00 including the tip. We had free water to drink, and 1 Pellegrino. This place is feng shui challenged. The register and menu board are on separate ends of the counter. So you look down the counter, then SHOUT the order to the person at the register, because the place is so loud, even though you are standing across from the person, you’d better holler. Definitely sit out on the patio. To clean up your table, trash cans are by the exit ramp. Again, feng shui fail. You need to walk back up to the window to return the round tray. See pictures. The food is excellent.

Aye okay tacos! It’s $ 8, more or less, for one(uno) taco! Yikes! Their duck, crab and lamb tacos was too dry. Not enough salsa and meat was dry. It’s not worth the $ 8 or so. Save it for other vendors in this market!

Whenever I think of tacos, I always think carne asada, or maybe some carnitas, or al pastor. Or, if it’s Lent, maybe a good fish taco. Never a fresh crab taco. But, that’s what I got when I came here and now I have another version of tacos in my head. We already ate at Ca Momi for lunch and it was great. But, after browsing thru Unilocal,a lot of my friends mentioned this crab taco. I had to at least give it a shot, so I split one with my wife. And, by «split,» I mean I took one bite and she ate the rest. But, that bite was enough to make me a believer! You could really taste the freshness of the crab. It’s served with garlic aioli, micro greens, lime vinagrette, pico de gallo, avocado crema, and fresh avocado. Sounds like a lot of ingredients, but they all work so well together. It also had a bit of kick, which I personally love. I will definitely have to come back another time and try the other tacos that I heard good things about. But, it will all have to be on the side of another fresh crab taco. By the way, yes, the taco is $ 9. A lot of a taco. But, remember, it’s fresh crab and it’s not exactly the size of a street taco. I have no regrets getting it.

Il s’agit en fait d’un stand dans un marché couvert, qui partage ses tables avec d’autres stands. Les plats proposés sont en revanche très bons ! Vraiment parfait pour manger sur le pouce des spécialités latino américaines.
