Oh yes. Two registers open on a busy Sunday afternoon, with them both being bout a dozen deep in the line makes me want to come back soon!

Best Toys R Us I’ve been to ever :) I come here very often for my little toddler and always end up leaving with something for him. He also enjoys running around the place playing with a lot of toys. The staff seem to be always friendly and patient. Two of the times I’ve been at the register, my card was declined and they were very patient with me while I was on the phone. There were many times where staff asked me if I needed help or was looking for something specific. They also help me hold onto the free holiday edition Dr. Browns bottle whenever I called to see if there were any available without me having to ask them. The store is always neat and nothing is out of place. All the other Toys R Us I’ve been to in NYC are just horrible. this one definitely is the best !

Horrible customer service. Took an order slip for a large item to the cashier. Waited on the side for half an hour. Didn’t complain. Was patiently waiting. Finally asked the cashier if someone is bringing our item and he says«Umm, I’m not sure. You can check with customer service». Is he kidding? I’ve been sitting right in front of him for the past 30 min and that’s the best thing he can say? Shouldn’t he be responsible following up with it? Nevertheless, we go to customer service and she says«I don’t know. I just got here. Maybe your item is on the second floor and if it is they usually need to take the elevator» and wasn’t the least bit apologetic nor care to follow up on it. Excuse me? Elevator? I lost all patience. Decided to spend my $ 300 elsewhere. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Obviously a very poorly managed store.

I’ll keep it short. I ordered an item for store pickup. Got the email went 2 hours later. was Given the wrong item which then was followed by poor excuses as to why they gave me the wrong item. They then backtracked on their first excuses and said that the item was still on the truck being unloaded. I wasn’tr offered an apology for my inconvienance whatso ever. I was told to return another day. I contacted customer support and was told that i would be contacted within 2weeks. i waited 3 weeks no response. I contacted them again and was told this would be elevated and another week has passed and still no response. Horrific customer service and support. This is why many brick and mortar stores a losing business to the internet. I wasn’t not expecting anything but an apology from the manager vafter having been given the wrong item, then excuses then waiting another 30 minutes to be told to come back another day.

Very very bad customer service at this location. You are better off going to another location. Better yet go to another toy store.

First I want to disclose that I used to work at Child World. I worked there for about 4 years before Toys R Us rolled into town and kicked our butts. We had a sexually ambiguous panda for a mascot and they had this goofy giraffe. You would think that the panda should beat out the giraffe just because it is more rare but they won. I used to venture into Toys R Us to check out the competition. They were good but were they better? Hell, we had a castle! Their prices may have been a little better than ours but I was able to get the hot toys just by hiding them in the warehouse. When I quit Child World, I had no choice but to go to Toys R Us and I have been going there ever since. It is a good toy store, probably the best in the world simply because there is no other. They have disposed of Lionel’s Leisure City, Child World and any other toy stores who could take away their business. Honestly, there is nothing at all special about Toys R Us. There are toys there. The prices are okay on some items. You can definitely get toys cheaper at Wal Mart, BJs or Costco but you will have less of a selection. The employees are the typical ones from Rockland County. They stand there with their mouths open. They frequently check their phones for new text messages from their buddies. If you ask them if they have an item in the back, they will say, «Everything we have is on the shelf» as if that is at all possible. The good things about Toys R Us? Kids love it. One of my best friends is a manager at their store in the Bronx. The prices are okay. The employees are easily identified by their vests and by the dull looks on their faces. The bad things? That stupid giraffe has no personality and he is not a good spokesanimal for a toy store. Peter Panda was articulate, well educated(he had a law degree!) and he spoke in rhyme like Jesse Jackson. Oh, he had a slight lisp but we can forgive that when we see this personality-less giraffe pretending he knows the first thing about toys(when quizzed, he said that he thought Barbie was a «pin», not a doll). He appears sullen and moody when the camera is off, leading one to believe that he is putting on a show when he is videotaped. He hardly got through high school with grades that hardly entered the C+ zone. It’s sad. Go to Toys R Us. Unless you can find that toy at BJs.

I enjoyed coming here as a kid. I’m showing my age, that I remember that this location use to be a swamp before they trenched it out, paved it, and built a strip mall, Roy Rogers, and this Toys R Us.
