Sal Santoro Nanuet Barber Shop

I have been going here for at least 8 years and love it. Prices reasonable. I see the Italian guy Sal that works there and he’s amazing. I have NEVER seen the dirty conditions a very few have described. It seems they just did not like their haircut. I only use 2 people there and you cant condemn an entire barbershop for one person you did not like. This is s GREAT PLACE!

This place was very dirty.
Unsanitized scissors and combs. Hair everywhere on the floor and the chairs.
My hair was cut with dirty clippers which were wiped off with a dirty rag I wouldn’t even use to clean my boots.
The worst part of the experience was when a round brush was used to blow dry my hair at the end of the haircut. The brush was filthy dirty with other people’s hair wrapped around it.
I went home thinking I might now have lice. Seriously.
I’ll never be back. They need to clean up their act.

Worst haircut I have ever gotten anywhere.
Don’t ever go to this place, if I could give this place 0 stars, I would.
Basically the lady tried cutting my hair in record time. When she finished in 5 min, she basically left everything uneven and could care less.
Save your money and never go to this place and if you do go there never go with the Ukrainian lady with highlights. She had no business working there.

Horrible place for the actual haircut. They’re friendly and all, but never want to understand how you want your hair cut. Just how they think it should be done.
Went in twice with a picture of what the cut should look like and different guys looked at it for no more than a second.
The first time the guy tried to argue with me on how short the sides should be. When I disagreed, he cut them too close what seemed like on purpose, like he was a child not getting his way.
The second time the guy said it was a crew cut. I disagreed but the first buzz of the trimmer cut it so short it’ll take weeks to get to the point I need.
This is why places like super cuts edge out the locals. Laziness and an inability to treat your clients right. It’s hard to find a good barber and this place is not it. Never coming back here again.
