I love this spot, by far the best and cheapest store in the county. I will always come to this store to support them because the owners are the best guys in the world.

The only place around to buy wine at a decent price. Priced well below the competition in the area. Also, a good selection and nice descriptions of wines as well. You will have to put up with narrow aisles and constant restocking going on but its worth it.

Probably the best place to get liquor anywhere in the NY metropolitan area. Not only do they have EVERYTHING… but their prices are amazingly low !! Great staff too !! If you hit it just right, you may find them sampling some products a well !!

The store is a mess to say the least. Never updated and has a high turn over rate of employees. Prices are low but honestly I have found lower in the county if you search around. The owners are complete jerks. Nice to your face and as soon as you turn around will bad mouth you. YOU are their customer and they could care less about you because they know they are a busy store. You are a body and a sale, not a valued consumer or friend to them even after you have known them for years. They are too busy smoking in the office and eating like pigs to take care of the store. Not worth going to to save a $ 1 unless you are that much of a penny pincher. I value people who value my business and value their own business. Place should close in my opinion and some competent people should open it.

This is a very good liquor store with an excellent variety and reasonable prices. The prices are usually lower than almost anywhere else but not always. The isles are small in comparison to other stores, but if you are so obese that you can’t make it down the isle maybe it would be wise to stop going to the liquor stores and start going to health clubs. What makes this place great is the selection, I have found whiskeys in this store that I thought were only available in Europe, also the wine selection is unparalleled. I also like the fact that almost every wine has the rating listed. It makes the selection easier.

I always park right outside where’s there’s no parking spot, but they don’t mind. Fabulous selection of lambrusco. Got a couple bottles. They have like no beer selection though. Gotta go across the parkinlot to Pathmark.

Love this spot! Fantastic prices & helpful staff. Yes it’s crowded but it’s worth it to accommodate the great selection. Closed on Sunday.

InEvery time I go to this liquor store I immediately regret it. The aisles are so narrow and their priority is stocking shelves. Not sure why that must be done at the expense of the customer’s convenience. There are ladders everywhere. If you are trying to navigate one of the small shopping carts, good luck to you. I much prefer Shop Rite Liquors in Pearl River

If you are obese, have a big rump or are on crutches or in a wheelchair, do not come in this store. You will not be able to navigate comfortably and you may knock down some bottles getting around. I think the fire inspector should come in here and make them revamp the layout of the store. Dangerous in my opinion. They now have a sign on the door«no pets allowed». I don’t think people should be allowed in the store now. Too cramped.

This place is great, if you dont know what you want or where it is guess what, there are signs. There are enough people in the store to ask if you really have that much trouble. They are the lowest priced around here except for maybe shoprite liquors depending on what you want. I always come here, my only complaint is that they aisles are kind of narrow because they are always restocking. There are boxes every where and people every where. Like William said, it’s not a day spa. As far as people being friendly, it’s not Mr Rogers neighborhood but the staff is a little short and to the point. I dont mind that though, i just want to buy my alcohol and keep it moving.

The other reviews are very correct. Amazing selection of everything except for high grade rum. Given that, it couldn’t offer any more of a selection given the area and the low prices unless they offered valet service. Even better, they carry it out for you when you’re too drunk to be bothered. LOVEIT!

I have to agree with Rob R. I stop in there throughout the year and never have a problem. I do however find it odd that kids are running the place & stationed at the checkout counter asking for ID based on who appears to «look» their age. I use to bartend in the past. ID requirement was universal, not selective. One of the checkout clerks yesterday was really rude. With the amount of money I’ve spent in that store I expect to be treated with some kind of respect. I was with my husband & left my handbag w/ID in the car. Because I was standing with him she RUDELY told me I had to go outside of the store or she couldn’t ring up his purchase. Then she went on to say I shouldn’t even be in the store without my ID. Really? Coming from someone who«looks» 17? If her tone hadn’t been so disrespectful it would not have been such an issue. If this was a new store policy, it should have been posted or verbally communicated because we’ve never had this issue there before. At age 40 I have no interest in dealing with children & it seems they are running that place more than ever. I asked to speak with a mgr or owner who was apparently«too busy» to take a moment to speak with me. I remember a few years back the owners used to be out on the floor greeting me & asking if I needed any help. We left without buying & will never go there again. I have never been treated so rudely. I have never been asked to show my ID when walking into any liquor store, only at the time of purchase whether in Rockland, Jersey or Manhattan. Even when with my husband, if he is purchasing I have never been asked.

Couldn’t disagree more with negative reviewers. It’s a liquor store, not a day spa. Their prices are better than anyone else’s and their selection is endless. The best part though is the owners themselves. They seem to know every bottle of wine in the place. Every time I ask for a recommendation, they ask what I’m looking for, how much and they always hit the nail on the head. Ok, so it’s crowded and the aisles are tight. But they have 7 or 8 cashiers working at once and you rarely have to wait that long. I’m going there right now.

It’s a very busy place, so stock is constantly;y being added and can be a it hectic inside. They do however have a great selection of almost everything and the prices can’t be beat

Use to be a good place until new owners took over a few years ago. they have no clue, the check out people are more interested in laughing and talking to each other than helping customers, they have no clue about products or where they are located. If you need help talk to the lowly stock boys who should be running the store. place is a mess, empty cartons all over, just a mess from what it use to be. i now take the longer ride to shop rite store in norward new jersey.

I enjoy shopping for wine here. There is a nice selection from around the world and the owners of the shop will gladly spend a great deal of time advising you. Also, the prices are excellent!

I completely agree with the other reviewer. Unless you know what you want, you’re going to be frustrated in here very quickly. And even if you know what you want, good luck asking someone for help. I have walked in and out of here empty-handed 99% of the time. Prices aren’t that great, either.

This place used to be called Buy-Rite and I recall it being a decent place to buy liquor. It’s now«Buy Wise» and uses the same color scheme for the signage, perhaps to confuse you. This has to be one of the sloppiest liquor stores I’ve been in. Unless you know exactly where your item is, there is nothing pleasurable about shopping here. The aisles are so narrow, two people cannot walk past each other. Wine and hard liquor are inter-mixed so finding anything by spirit-type is nearly impossible. I found vodka stocked in 4 different places inside this store. There seemed to be no reasoning as to why some vodka was on one side of the store vs. another side. While you were able to find vodka all over the place, gin was given very limited shelf space. The selection of gin was terribly slim. The checkout clerk was really rude. Instead of a greeting, I got«Are you over 30?» They must have a policy of requiring ID from anyone that appears to be under 30 years old that I’m not aware of. Maybe she thought I was trying to pull a fast one. The tone was very condescending, especially from someone that appeared to be 18 or 19. The prices are nothing special here, the selection is hit-or-miss, and the service leaves a lot be desired. For me, there’s no reason to come back.
