Cook’s Cycle Shop

While the employees are nice and they try to help, the bikes are in terrible shape. I had to try three before I found one in good enough shape to use. Even then by the end of the day the handles came unwrapped and the gears were malaligned making the bike rattle and jerk. Bikes very uncomfortable. While we were assured that we could call with any problems, when we called we were told that they could come and repair but not until later in day and for a fee. Go somewhere else for your bikes. Easy riders is in surf side. They are wonderful. I am returning my bike from Cook’s and going to them.

Rented scooters here and had an amazing time. I would highly suggested stopping in here and exploring the island on a scooter.

I was on the island for the annual Triathlon and of course every bike shop on the island was slammed with athletes needing last minute help with their rides. Of course I was right in the mix and needed help with something on my TT Bike. Every place I called wouldn’t even see me or try to squeeze me in. The guys at Cook’s told me they were incredibly busy as well but that they would try their best to get me in there, I dropped my bike off at noon and not but three hours later the issue was fixed. They even called me to let me know my ride was ready. While they were fixing one thing, they noticed some dirt on my aero rims and went ahead and cleaned those. Other than saving my bacon these guys provide service that is above and beyond. Thank you Cook’s!

Cook’s is a great little bike shop. They have several different styles of bikes– they come with a lock, a helmet (if you want one), and a basket on the front.
I loved my bike, it was a great way to get around the island. I also loved that GF was so short that she had to have a kid’s bike. Heh heh.

$ 25 per day for a bike. they give you a lock and a witchy basket. They’ll give you a little map too.
We were there on a wednesday though, had pleanty of bikes and I discovered I got one with a busted break.
