Don’t go here… because they never have pretzels. I have been there many times now being told each time that they start making the pretzels around 4:00 or 5:00 and thought I would try it again and when we walked in at 6:00 and was told they already sold out I decided it was time for a review. I want to ask them why they never have pretzels when its literally in the name of the business. The one and only review i have read so far about water is sad enough but at least they got a pretzel… I was wondering Is Nathan eating all these pretzels because they are for him only… its quite comical actually! We won’t be back… its time to make my own… pulling out the bread machine!

It’s a cold rainy Saturday before Christmas. Me and my family are out window shopping and enjoying time together after a stressful week of one of our children being in the hospital. We decide to burn an hour in the Karcher Mall. But first, we stop by Nathan’s Pretzels for a little something to tie us over until dinner. I ask the cashier for a large bite size pretzel and a glass of water. «We are not allowed to do that, we can only sell you bottled water» «What? That’s stupid. Why?» «I know it is. I don’t know why.» «Where is your manager?» Points to gentlemen behind her. «Where is your owner?» Points in a general direction behind me. I look up at the menu board. Water bottle is $ 2.00 for 700 mL sports bottle. Grossly overpriced. But… I need water… So I purchase it. I pay and walk away. As I walk away, the cashier says with attitude, «Can you believe that? He’s complaining because he couldn’t get tap water.» I immediately look for a Unilocal page. Nothing. Next, a Facebook page. You have to «friend» this individual before posting an issue on their page. No «liking» their business’ page. I, instead, send a Facebook message. No reply. Shows a casual disregard for the issues customers have. I’m left with no other recourse than to submit a business addition to Unilocal in order for me to inform others of my experience. Nothing short of free pretzels for life will EVER draw me back to this pathetic business. I would have settled for a sincere apology within a day or two of my Facebook message, but no response tells me this individual is not taking me seriously. I highly recommend steering clear of this place. It’s over priced, a rip off, customer service is abhorrent and employees are blatantly disrespectful.
