Misty Benson( ) has an eBay store to showcase her artwork/creations of quirky, creepy, big-eyed tricksters. Misty is awesome. Her eBay store is where I got some of her amazing art. Last night at 12:00, I bought her Sugar Babies painting for $ 400. It cost a lot of my paycheck, but it’s a steal for such a wonderful lively piece: Misty’s description says, «This scene is so adorable, you might just faint! This cute little gray girl with the morbidly obese eyes sits among her fluffy companions! They are a squishy group of Japanese dwarf flying squirrels!» There were already two offers and a lot of hits on the page, so I knew if I didn’t buy it at the asking price, I’d kick myself for years. The feeling is probably similar to buying your dream house. Last year I bought the Kuan Yin and Her Dragon the same way – I forgot how much I paid, but the painting hangs in my house and has many admirers. I admire it every day myself. I’ve added Misty’s copyrighted photos of the items I bought from her.
