I read the reviews and went anyway! I was visiting on my way to Portland and was looking for something good that was not a chain. I am glad I went, my wife and I shared the combo fajitas for 2 .They were great not too many beans and rice. Great service, great food and great place to eat. If you are visiting Nampa check them out. Ask for Elizabeth she was fantastic!

Sort of plain restaurant in a strip mall, featuring largely bland rice, beans, chips, salsa, all the usual suspects. This is a fairly average spot, with nothing really standing out one way or the other. Entire plate was either steamed(most likely) or microwaved. Chile Relleno was a lot like they put a vaguely fire-roasted Anaheim inside of a fairly thin omelet, which was equally as good as it sounds. Probably ok if you’re craving Mexican and in the area, in a pinch, but not a destination spot. Service was mostly friendly, which was a bright spot.

This place is great! In an area where there’s mainly fast food and not many choices, we were glad we could find a nicer place to sit down. Pretty good enchiladas and salsa. Plus, they had some gluten free options! Win!

Being only a couple miles from our house, we loved this restaurant. Saying there’s little to choose from end of town is an understatement. We eagerly watched for their grand opening, and frequented the restaurant 2 – 4 times a month. But no longer will we give them our hard-earned money. Not that their food isn’t good. It is. It’s not remarkable, but it’s hearty mexican food. First: On weekdays, they close at 9PM. We’re not some little podunk town that closes at dark. Second: The staff doesn’t relay a last call to their paying customers. We’re just out of luck. And the last straw: Why we won’t come back. The last time we visited, it was 8:40PM. As we walked in the door, we were greeted by a friendly and familiar face. When we told him we were expecting two more(minutes behind us), he said he hoped they were coming quickly, because they close at 9PM. Not a good start to a meal. When 9PM arrived, our waiter was hurrying us along. Finally, not long after 9PM, he reminded us that they closed at 9PM. Out of all the restaurants that we have given our business to in the last 30+ years, this is the only place that has not seated until the closing time, then graciously served their guests until they were done.

We eat here frequently. I love the food and customer service. Waiter Lio is the example when it comes to quality customer service. If you eat here for lunch or dinner look out for the almoste daily coupons for buy one get the other free. They are in the Press Tribune Newspaper. I cannot remember the last time I had to pay for 2 meals. We love the food and the exceptional customer service… Kudos to Lio!

Have eaten at various Fiesta Guadalajara restaraunts around the valley, and this one is only about a mile from our house. Food is average Gringo Mex at best. Service is adequate at best, but usually pretty lousy. Go a mile or so further down Garrity and go to Tacos El Rey to get good Mexican food. I rarely, if ever go here any longer.

Originally a fan of the Caldwell store we were happy to see a store opened closer to home. Typical for the Mexican fair, the food is served on heated plates with loads of beans and spanish rice, wrapped in a tortillas then covered in cheese and sauce. The Carne Asada(flank steak) has never disappointed us and I like their seafood stew listed with the soups. This place is very typical for Mexican food and consistent each time we have dinned. The dinning room is kept very clean and orderly. There is also a bar separate from the dinning room with a television and seating outside along side of the building. There doesn’t appear to be much shade for the outside tables but we have never tried eating out there.

the food is wonderful although the service is really hit or miss here. it ranges from outstanding to mediocre. i love the salsa, it’s made it a lot of onion and other great flavors. it’s a great place to go if you love mexican food covered in cheese. i think there guacamole is horrible. their shredded beef is great.
