What a *Gem* in the treasure valley! I had my first experience today. I never heard of this place previously & quite frankly a bit saddened that I hadn’t. Once you walk in you will experience ambiance of beautiful chandeliers & décor, it is very antique inspired & quaint… Beautiful China cups & saucers throughout. The place reminds me of a tea parlor in San Francisco,…they serve gourmet teas, lovely desserts, scones. etc…Gourmet sandwiches & wraps, salads and homemade soups. I had the Asian chicken wrap with Tomato Bisque, topped with Gouda cheese. I ate every bit. The service was wonderful. This little gem is perfect for baby showers, lunch dates with your girlfriends, special daughter — dad dates, birthdays, anniversary. Church socials. The list goes on… the prices are fair! I can’t wait to go again! Next time I’ll bring my lady friends & we’ll bring our silly fun hats & enjoy what this little Gem has to offer!

This is a lovely place to have lunch! I love the atmosphere and the service was excellent also. I look forward to going back again soon. My husband even liked it even though he was the only man there. :-)

What do you call a combination bistro, antique shop, and gift store? Answer: Café De Coco. This cozy little eatery is tucked away on an unassuming street in downtown Nampa. A friend invited me to lunch and I did not know what to expect when I walked through the door. You enter through the boutique first… lots of girly eye-candy…then the tables are in the back and around the corner. It’s like having lunch at your favorite English Auntie’s cottage. I ordered the turkey and cranberry on focaccia bread with a side salad. It was yummy and I even had enough to take home for another lunch. Service was warm and cordial. I like places like these where you can decompress and spend time having lunch and lingering over great conversation. It was a very pleasant afternoon. Btw, in response to a previous ageist review posted for this café: this is a really cute restaurant for all ages: from a little girl’s first«grown-up» tea party, to baby and bridal shower luncheons, and beyond. Most intelligent people do not subscribe to the concept of segregational dining. So don’t worry, Café De Coco is EVERYONE’s cup of tea.

Lemon cake is to die for. Best thing in their menu. Wraps and sandwiches are great. Pasta salad is delish. Their selection of teas and atmosphere make this the perfect nampa location for a light lunch with the girls. They hosted my sister’s baby shower a few years ago and made it a very special day for her. So grateful that the ladies in our family love to make CDC a regular part of our time together!

What a charming bistro and gift shop! It reminded my mom and me very much of Lady Bedford’s Tea Parlour in Pinehurst, NC where we had lunch a few times and was a favorite place to go with her friends because it was so different. The gift shop is what you first walk into, and it’s hard to not be overwhelmed by all the cute and elegant treasures. They are completely decked out for the holidays and there are a ton of gift ideas, many of which won’t break the bank. Prices were more affordable than I expected for little ornaments and whatnots(compared to places back east, anyway). Not having finished looking over the goodies, we decided to go ahead and get seated, then we’d look again before leaving. Gosh, it was like walking through a house with several rooms, and one had just one table which was semi-private due to others having to walk through it, but would be nice for a small group of 4 – 5. We were taken to the last room where there were three maybe four tables. Our server was prompt with our drink orders, and was prepared to take our lunch orders before Mom was quite ready(I ‘cheated’ and checked out their menu ahead of time online as usual), but they gave adequate time before checking again. Their menu is more extensive than Lady Bedford’s, and it’s harder to make up one’s mind here. I knew I had to try the Crunchy Chicken Salad sandwich on a croissant, and it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Not too mayo-y, just perfect. Mom had the ½ soup & ½ sandwich– the split pea and ham, and Neva’s Mountain Tuna. She loved both. We enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The décor was very unique with mismatched plates, chairs, etc. Wall art struck me as fin de siècle, and the music while very soft was from an early era(1930-ish?). It all worked, and obviously a lot of effort was put into this establishment. A little gem in Nampa. This is our first time in downtown Nampa which was brought about by an unrelated reason to go, so it’s unlikely we’ll be back any time soon. However, if we find ourselves in the area again, we won’t hesitate to come here again. It was a delightful experience!

Great lunch spot for a group of gals! It’s cute and feminine with a whimsical/European/shabby chic charm. We were looking for a place to take my grandma to lunch for her 86th birthday. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was good. We had so much fun shopping in the boutique after we ate our lunch. We(all 10 of us) each ended up buying something.

I have been wanting to go here for ages… And I finally did today with my family from out of state… Lets just say this spot is more for the 50& older community. It is pretty high priced and the portions are fair… But neither presentation or portion we’re impressive… The meal its self was extremely bland… And the staff was oddly quiet… Everything is aesthetically appealing but the food and cost we’re not impressive at all… Prolly won’t be back or recommend to my friends… We’re a little to young for that crowd.

What a cute little place. Definitely geared toward«the ladies» but that is part of the fun. We went for lunch on a Thursday. You walk into a little gift shop type place but hidden behind that is the restaurant. The menu is small but the food was delicious. We ordered the chicken salad and the tuna salad on lettuce instead of bread. I loved the chicken salad! It was fresh, nicely seasoned, and had fresh grapes in it. The menu said the salads would be served with fruit. I was expecting the usual combination of chopped cantaloupe and honeydew with a grape or two thrown in. But it was a slice of fresh pineapple and sliced strawberries. Both fresh and flavorful! The waitstaff was friendly and took time to talk with customers who had questions. We noticed the staff was willing to help one another out so there weren’t a lot of delays. It is definitely worth the drive from Boise and we will be back.

Was recommended for lunch from another business downtown today. It is a quaint little place and the atmosphere is excellent. Menu is average priced and not huge. Sandwiches were very good, both of ours came with a Pasta Salad that was bland and tasteless, and that’s why I didn’t give them 4 stars. Servers were very good and attentive. Deserts were excellent. We will come back.

This quaint little shop offers a selection of trinkets and cards in the front gift shop and sandwiches and tea in the restaurant. The service is slow at lunch time but the food was good but not great. Looks and feels very trendy inside. Some of the tables are sectioned off from the others providing a bit of intimacy which is good for conversation with companions. Good place to take Mom for lunch.
