It’s a very bad knock off of chipotle. All the food seemed old and it was overpriced.

This place surprisingly has outstanding Greek food for a burrito place. I will definitely be back. Also, the man who served me(I assume he was the owner) was helpful and friendly.

The best burrito I’ve ever had. Staff was kind and courteous. Let us try samples of some meats and pita chips. Great service and even better food. Try the shawarma chicken! It’s so good!

Fast and friendly service! Went here while in town on business. I had the XL burrito with grilled chicken and it was amaze. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I was so excited it has been forever since I had eaten Greek food. I ordered the beef kabobs and some grape leaves. I got my Kabobs 40 minutes after I ordered them and they were charred. The manager went to make me another but it came out a tiny bit less charred. The grape leaves were awesome and the manager was very friendly and apologetic. I think he was there with a couple of people who had just started and was having to fix a bunch of mistakes they were making.

After a day in Nacogdoches, I was hungry and craving something with quantity, so Sushi was out and after some research, I found this place on Unilocal. Since I was starving, I ordered the biggest burrito they have, 15′ and I didn’t realize it was the same size as my forearm. The pulled pork itself is just average, overall the quality is better than I expected. The service is great and they have tons of choices to choose from. If I’m in town again, I would love to eat here again.

I have a love hate relationship with Pepper Jacks. The food is ok, but the guy that runs the place is one of the rudest people you would ever meet. Recently I waited 30 minutes for food and then he brought the wrong food. Then told me I ordered something different even though he wrote down the correct order and I paid the correct price. When I told him I order something else he said I didn’t. He showed me the recipient and I showed him he gave me something different than what was on the ticket. He didn’t apologize and didn’t offer to fix his mistake. He just said better luck next time.

Recently moved to Nac and tried this place out and my mind was blown. I had the chicken kabob Sammie and it was out of this world delicious. Has crap parking but the Greek food is def worth a try.

Probably the best food in Nacogdoches. I’m from Austin so the food choices here in Nacogdoches are incredibly pathetic compared to the food choices back home. Although, Pepper Jacks is probably the only place I go out to eat here. Other than that I have learned to cook for the sake of wasting time and money on these other pitiful places they call restaurants. Pepper Jacks is clean, delicious, and friendly. The owner is always friendly and knows how to treat his customers well to keep them coming back. Everything here seems pretty fresh. I mostly get the gyros and chicken kabobs. The gyros are bursting with flavor and are as good as gyros are going to get in East Texas. The Chicken Kabob seems to be fresh and make sure you ask for the grilled chicken rather than the shredded, it’s well worth the extra wait. The Burritos are hit or miss. Maybe it depends who makes them. I’m not a fan mainly because I compare them to Chipotle and Freebirds. But if you are looking for a burrito place I recommend Pepper Jacks over Bullritos any day. The burritos are probably the only reason why this place did not get a full 5 star rating. I would love to see chicken breast options and maybe even spinach for us health freaks. The guacamole is a little over priced for the little drizzle you get but understandable since us Guac addicts will buy it no matter the price. In conclusion, I eat here pretty frequently and still say it is my favorite place in Nacogdoches.

I love Pepper Jacks, I remember when it opened like 15 years ago. They’ve never really disappointed me. In case you weren’t sure, Pepper Jacks was modeled after Freebirds Burritos, and I feel like it delivers that to Nacogdoches. I’ve never had the greek food, always the burrito or burrito bowl. I love that they offer the burrito bowl, b/c I can’t eat white flour tortillas, and so having the option to get all the stuff w/o the tortilla is awesome. I just wish I could go more often.

Pepper Jack’s is the BEST(granted, the only too) place to get gyros and baklava in Nac. The manager is from Lebanon and he is super nice and friendly, not to mention helpful while ordering. He makes great suggestions and I am never disappointed by them. You get a TON of food for your money and their sauce for the gyros is amazing.

i have ate here about eight times over six years. The food is ok for the most part. IMO this place tries to nickel and dime you on extras like $ 1.29 for a squirt of guac. $.79 for squirt of sour cream. $.79 for a few black olives. You get the idea. a $ 10.99 burrito with a drink and a couple of add ons will put you over $ 15.00. The burritos have little meat and a lot of filler. This is the reason the place is not doing great. If this guy would stop gouging his customers he would make more money by repeat business. As for me i won’t be back. There are many cheaper and better options in Nacogdoches.
