Passing through town and stopped for breakfast, bad decision. Not a big selection for breakfast, I had an egg sandwich, egg was scrambled and OVER cooked. My wife had eggs, over medium, again OVER cooked with bacon, UNDER cooked, and toast. Being a Native Texan in my sixties, I have never met 3 more UNFRIENDLY people than the two boys and girl that were working on 27 Dec 2014. I just hope they are students going to school at Stephen F. Austin State University are from out of state.

This is my number one recommended spot for visitors of Nacogdoches. It is a non-chain restaurant that serves delicious and fresh food. It also happens to be one of the only places in Nac to get a decent baked potato! If you’re in Nac and have not tried Olde Towne yet, you are definitely missing out. Their lunch crowd is mainly workers from downtown, and it can get pretty busy around lunch, so make sure to call in your order if you are in a hurry.

Great place to grab a bite. Homemade sandwiches, and fresh drinks. Can’t go wrong with the selections here. Free drinks if you’re a student

When I crave baked potatoes I get their Veggie Spud it’s great! Also excellent sweets and sandwiches need more veggie options but overall a cozy dive that’s pretty busy daily.

Excellent loaded baked potatoes. Never been disappointed. My favorite is the buffalo chicken one.

Love this place. Love the old school vibe. I travel from Houston to Nacogdoches once every couple of weeks and almost every time, I eat lunch here. The atmosphere is good, the food is great and the service is outstanding. And well, the lunch specials are very reasonably priced.

Loved it. Great atmosphere. Delicious bread. Had the grilled chicken bacon and Swiss on jalapeño bread. Yummy yummy! Very friendly service. Great place to stop if you are driving through town and want a local place to eat that’s fast and inexpensive.

Very fresh! Decent prices. It’s one of those places that when one person goes, everybody has to go.

What a quaint little café in downtown Nacogdoches. Had my friend not taken me there, I wouldn’t even have noticed that it’s an eatery! But once you walk in you get this log cabin feel and you feel right at home. They have their daily specials written on one board and another with their regulars. I tried their BBQ sandwich and it was delicious! Very flavorful BBQ on a soft moist bread. MMM, mmm, good!

This is literally a hole in the wall that a lot of people miss. They have great coffee, pastries, and food which has an awesome homemade taste. It seems like they have been around forever, so they definitely know what they’re doing. Very chill ambiance.

Olde Towne General Store is a small café downtown, if you blink you may miss it, so try to keep your eyes open! They have a great selection of sandwiches, soups, baked potatoes, and quiche. They are friendly from when you walk to the back and order, they will give you their favorites and what others like. They also have free wifi and a little loft you can sit in and enjoy your lemonade. I would recommend having any of the sandwiches on sourdough bread!
