We had mama spicy chicken and shrimp, and shrimp carbonara. Food was excellent and service was great. Highly recommended.

They have a pretty good happy hour with drinks and appetizers. The shrimp wontons(appetizer) are delicious and the sangria swirled belini is yummy. The atmosphere is relaxing and there is an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. I have taken colleagues here for business dinners, have been here on romantic dates, and have enjoyed this place with friends– it’s good for most situations and crowds. One of the better places in Nacogdoches. There is also a covered patio in the front that is also nice.

We’ve been to Auntie Pastas 3 times now. First time was during the SFA campus tour, second time was while we were apartment shopping and third was move in day a few months later. The food is pretty good, and Crème Brulee, well it doesn’t get much better than Auntie Pastas.

Passing through and stopped here. Everything we had was amazing, service was great, and the Mexican martinis were perfect. Wish it was closer to Houston. The nacho appetizer could be a meal, so beware. The fried artichoke had the best glaze ever.

Great food and always a hit with out-of-town visitors. Interesting building and a fun place to eat.

My husband and I came to Nac from out of town to visit some friends and stopped here to eat dinner. It was recommended and for good reason. The bread with olive oil/garlic is complementary and was super warm! We started off with the fried artichokes which was yummy. My husband got the pork chop and loved it! I got the eggplant Parmesan and it was pretty good too– smaller portion than his food but it was also a cheaper price. Would definitely come back!

Best Italian food in the area. Perfect place for a date or a causal night out. The bread is so good you have to control your self not to fill up on it, although sometimes it can be a little hard. Nevertheless they are good. The appetizers are fantastic and they have so many different pastas it’s hard to chose from. I haven’t tried many of their drinks yet, they have a good wine selection though. I do think they could make it a little classier to match the food and drinks. Other than that it’s great

I didn’t have one complaint after I left. Service, food, drinks, atmosphere… all were exceptional. I like a little kick in my chicken alfredo and the waiter offered to have cayenne added to my order. Absolutely delicious Super impressed. Will be back.

To start service was amazing from the hostess to the wait staff very friendly, insightful, interactive and attentive. We greatly appreciated the service provided by Amber and Charity. Let’s get to the food. The selection was fantastic. There is something for everyone. Food arrived quickly but didn’t look or taste like it was rushed. I would recommend the nachos as an appetizer HUGE portion, chips were crispy light and fluffy topped with melting cheese Italian sausage, olives and more. Lunch: we ordered lunch portions of lasagna, Momma spicy chicken and shrimp pasta, and the forgettaboutit sandwich combo. They were all very good tons of flavor, great presentation, and portion sizes were great even for lunch portions. We did bring some home. Dessert: We had the key lime pie and chocolate cake. We ordered a chocolate cake to go for a cake enthusiast in our family who we are positive they are going to enjoy. It was that good! Great find. I would highly recommend.

My second time here. Last was a couple years ago. Much better then. Chicken parm was way overcooked and the recooked one wasn’t much better. I eat chicken parm all the time and this is the first I have ever sent back. Bread and calamari were great but how can you mess up chicken parm?

Go for the bread. It’s good one around this small place. Italian menu, very few options for vegetarians. But ambience is good. Go for it.

Definitely the best place to go in Nacogdoches! Very pleased with the customer service, cleanliness, and quality! After being a resident of Nacogdoches for about 4 years now, I’ve visited this Auntie Pasta’s numerous times without hardly ever a problem! Simply the best place to get a GREAT meal, every time! The Pork Chop is about the best I’ve ever ate!

I travel multiple States throughout the western USA for business and now for the first time in the state of Texas and being one who doesn’t care much to elaborate with criticism, therefore regarding this restaurant? may I simply say, Don’t do it!

Terrible service. I walk in with my boyfriend and stand there while the unsightly hostesses just stare back until I finally say«do I just seat myself??». They said no and took us to our table. Talk about bad etiquette. Service was RIDICULOUSLY slow, took 30 minutes for a drink, and even though I was also with my own mother AND75 year old grandmother, the pretentious waitress demanded to still see my ID. This place is WAY too ahead of itself. Very smug ill-dressed/trained staff, rude, and I can’t say I want to go back any time soon. Also, NOPARKING!

One of the few good restaurants in this town. Atmosphere is great here if you like historic buildings. I ordered their homemade lasagna. They only make a limited amount each day and when they run out, well… you just have to order something else. Lasagna was pretty good and has 12 layers, as the menu indicates.

Visited AP four times recently and have ordered the tilapia, redfish and the Italian nachos. All were very good. Very nice bar and décor. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Would strongly consider visiting more for ball games but they have HD TVs but no HD channels. Try the Italian nachos for a different take on the Tex Mex staple. I’ll be back soon…

I went to SFA and graduated in 2003 and now live in Houston, TX. I have not found an Italian place that compares to Auntie Pastas. It is somewhat similar to the the chain Jonny Carino’s, but much better. For a small Texas town this place is a definite gem. At least once a year I take Saturday day trip from Houston to meet a college friend here to catch up over great meal. This place and Java Jacks are institutions that can never be recreated anywhere else. Nacogdoches is the oldest town in Texas and places like this set it apart from the big cities.
