Wonderful newer winery in NMB. Staff is very knowledgeable about local grapes and east coast wines. The gift shop offers an eclectic and beautiful mix of local art and furniture. There’s a nice veranda that offers live DJ music during warmer months. The wine varieties are mostly sweet, but they also offer one each of a red and white wine. There’s something for most wine enthusiasts to try and enjoy at Duplin and it’s definitely a Myrtle Beach bucket list experience I plan to repeat over and over again!

Beautiful Winery and delicious wines. More for the folk who enjoy a sweeter wine but they did have two that stood out for the dryer liking. We did the deluxe tasting which included a tasting of 12 wines, garlic crackers, and a cheese dip which I personally thought matched well with the wines. We were so excited to hear about the wine club they offered however were TOTALLY bummed to find out they do NOT ship to New Jersey! I don’t understand being another vineyard in the area can ship to NJ and did send us a few bottles. We’re hoping in the near future they will be able to. We loved the wine so much.

Absolutely the worse wine and customer service ever. I bought a bottle of their Scuppernong Blush, for my friend’s anniversary, I am not a drinker so I never tasted it. When my friend opened it, it smelled awful, she said it tasted worse. We brought it back to the winery to ask if it was supposed to taste like this, we encountered a female on the welcome desk who was very rude and nasty. She said you must be from up north and not used to drinking good wine. she was very belligerent. We asked if there was another wine she could exchange it for, she told us in a condescending tone that all there wine was like this ‚” best wine in tyhe south”. So we left feeling like scolded children. We were told to dump it as sometimes you have to do this. I would never recommend this winery or wine to any of my friends or family. Stay away

Did the tour and the tasting for $ 20 bucks. My wife and I had a great time tasting all the different varieties. We bought a case of wine after we were done.

Beautiful new tasting room in North Myrtle. Duplin has brought a fun, new adult activity to the Grand Strand area. The tasting is a great deal at $ 5 for 12 wines and you keep your glass. You can upgrade your tasting to include a delicious dip and glass of wine for an additional $ 5. I would have rated as a 5 star location if it weren’t for the limited selection of wines. Duplin only uses muscadine grapes resulting in a highly sweet product — towards the middle of the tasting they all started taking on the same flavor. I understand they have a large selection of wines but with only one variety of grapes used, there is not much variety. The dips in the shop are delicious, definitely try some samples and take home a few bottles. The dips were very reasonably priced and would make a great gift. Also every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Just wish they carried additional varieties of grapes for all to enjoy!

This was a nice midday stop with a small group. The tour was very organized from start to finish by being greeted immediately by the host, signing up for a wine tasting, being given a pager when it was time for the tasting to begin to the detail and prompt service given by the wine expert. The cracker were not the greatest but the muscadine cheese dip was great. We ended the tour with a glass of wine of our choice on the patio, which had plenty of spacious seating. Will be back again soon. For only $ 5 or $ 10, you also get a wine glass when you participate in the tasting.

Breakdown… very nice place. All sweet wines. This comes from them using one type of grape. If you like sweet wines you will love this place, if you like dry reds skip this. Here is what pissed me off the most… you can’t purchase a bottle and drink it onsite. You have to buy by the glass. 2nd and this is the one that has me extremely mad at the staff right now. After asking several staff about taking wine home on a plane they all acted like it wasn’t a big deal and only certain airlines give you problems. Bullshit! Tsa only allows you to take 3.4 Oz on with you. Unless you check a bag your not getting this stuff home. Again and more importantly this is for people that like sweet, and I mean sweet wines.

I’m a local. Stopped by to shop at the gift store. Asked a few questions. Staff was snobby and looked me up and down. Will not be returning. There is a local winery, Bellamie, which is nicer. Wine is better and the staff is always friendly.

Stopped in here to look around while vacationing in the area. Didn’t try the wine tasting, but it was enjoyable just walking around and looking at stuff. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. In addition to the wines, this place also has a cute gift store.

Winery is cute with nice presentation. Wines very sweet and requires a certain palette. Deluxe tasting was a good value. 13 wines, crackers, dip, free glass and glass of wine.

Went here for the tasting. The only reason this review if 4 stars instead of 5 is because we aren’t fans of sweet wines and most of the wine they have is 6.2−11% sugar. The tasting itself was fun, and cheap at $ 5 for 12 wines. They are precise on the pours and the tasting groups are fairly large, like 15 – 20. Our tasting lead was very knowledgeable about the Duplin wines but not wine in general. The shop is fun for a tourist like me and watching the hand bottling was interesting. The covered patio outside is wonderful and Fridays they have live music from 430 – 730, which we didn’t see but thought it would be fun. We had a nice time.

From somebody who has been a Duplin, grocery store wine drinker… We’ve visited this winery a few times while on vacation this week. The staff is knowledgeable and very interactive during the wine tasting. If you prefer sweet muscadine wine… this is the place in NMB. Thanks Duplin Winery NMB; we’ll be back!

We are out of towners who decided to try this wine tasting out. We have gone to a lot of tastings where you all stand around and someone pours you a couple glasses and you awkwardly stand there and sip. We loved the set up of this tasting. I really enjoyed the setting and room it was in. I loved the guy serving us. His stories were great and we felt very relaxed sitting around with everyone around the bar. Also the cream cheese dip was great!

We had a blast. We did the delux wine tasting. For 10 $ sampled 13 wines, plus unlimited dip & crackers. Jonathan was our taster. He was knowledgable, funny & truly an amazing part of a family business. We also spoke with Ronnie after our tasting. These folks are truly genuine people who make you feel as though you’re hanging out with family on a summers night. The hospitality alone is worth the trip.

We stopped in for a wine tasting. The gentleman was very knowledgeable about the wines and was from the winery in Rose Hill. The muscadine grape wines were delicious for us sweet wine lovers. The complimentary wineglass was a nice touch. The store was well organized and had a large variety of items in addition to the wine. I ordered a case of wine to be shipped, and the wine will get home before me! The staff was fabulous!

Family owned and operated Muscadine winery. If you like sweet tea — these sweet wines are for you. All of the staff were pleasant and funny. We had a fantastic time. We did the $ 10 tasting which included a special red pepper salsa cream cheese dip with our crackers. We tasted 12 wines plus the Coastal wine. We left with a case of wine plus 2 bottles. And delicious wine slushies in adorable cups.
