When I think of Asian Grocers, Lucky Oriental Market embodies nearly everything I imagine. Yes, it’s a bit crowded BUT every shelf is absolutely full. Also, they carry many items this half Filipino girl has been desperately looking for in my new South Carolina home.
Most specifically — SkyFlake crackers, Yan Yan & Hello Panda snacks, and round Spring Roll/​Lumpia wrappers.
Also, looking forward to when my parents visit again as they have also have quite the assortment of bagoong and even have frozen sili peppers (the tiny red peppers found in some south east Asian dishes). If they start carrying Goldilocks brand mamon, this place will certainly be elevated to 5 stars!

Simply put, this is a very Vietnamese grocery store. No booze, very few non-​Vietnamese items, but it is clearly true to what it’s aim is: a Vietnamese store. Since I don’t live in Charleston I wouldn’t return (I was looking for Korean booze), but it’s got what one might need.
