Should always check Unilocal first. Appetizer was old, bread wasn’t fresh and haven’t even gotten my meal yet. Do not eat here. Very disappointed. Then I checked Unilocal and saw that it isn’t a chain. It’s a knock off. You can tell. Wish we would have gone anyplace else.

Do not eat here! The waiter we had was horrible. If you are African American keep on driving pass. This restaurant is not apart of the Texas Roadhouse chain.

BEADVISEDTHISISNOTTEXASROADHOUSETHECHAINRESTAURANT. This was our first time coming to this place and the food was just ok. The mints on the way out are good. My wife ordered the ½ rack of ribs and sirloin. Well the food came out and it was just warm. The ribs meat does fall off the bone. The sauce taste is eh, not savory nor tangy. It tasted more like a ketchup based sauce. The rib meat without the sauce tasted like a pine sole cleaner which could be the rub they used. My wife’s steak was overcooked and looked like it was microwaved until dehydrated. She ordered it to be med well. Fail on their part. The waiter did have the meal completely removed from the bill. Was a bit shocked that the manager didn’t even come up to apologize. Not very good management or customer service skills on his/her part. Sorry Texas Roadhouse Grill. I will take my walking boots elsewhere.

Took my wife and 2 small children tonight. I had sirloin, wife had chicken fingers. It was very good. We are visiting from WV and this is not like the Texas Roadhouse chain from home, but still was very satisfied. The waitress was outstanding. Very friendly and interacted with both kids well. I rarely over-tip and I did tonight. I would recommend to others with kids or without.

SO… we love Texas Roadhouse and visit it in any state that has one because of the excellent food and service. WELL, be warned this ISNOT part of the chain and you notice that immediately in everything from the service to the food. Do not waste your time or money, it is so not worth it!

We went here as the Texas Roadhouse in Cumming, and Gainesville Georgia have always been a family favorite. BUT this is not a Texas Road House it is Texas Roadhouse ‘GRILL’. We found this out right away. No peanuts, no rolls, no amazing cinnamon butter and prices are from $ 3.00-$ 5.00 more and hardly any folks eating there,(The Texas Roadhouse we were use to are generally crowded and you have to call ahead) But we decided to try it. The food was ok just not the same seasoning on the salmon or steaks we ordered but it was still ok. The thing that really turned us off was when our daughter in law ordered her chicken and gave her two sides to the waitress. The waitress said«Oh that does not come with two sides anymore we just have not updated the menu??» Say what??? The menu you give us says two side but we can only have one??? Well we went round and round with the waitress who then said we would have to take it up with the manager. We said ok and then asked to talk with the manager, then she said…” ok I’ll just give it to you” hmmm If it’s on the restaurants menu you won’t ‘just give it’ to us, it is owed us. We are glad we tried the restaurant, but we won’t go there again as there are to many other good steak and seafood restaurants in Myrtle Beach.

Disappointing that a locally owned restaurant is serving such horrible food. The quality of the meat they are using is the worst. Service was great, little surprised they wouldn’t ask if something was wrong with a plate with a half rack and a little more of food on it. I’m sure they are scared to ask anymore. Manager was to busy texting at hostess stand to care about the food. If the owners had to eat here it would be a totally different experience. So many better restaurants here in Myrtle.

Intended to order at least 6 to go dinners. Walked in, host gave me menu and said to sit at bar and place order. Bar was half full. Noticed that only one other person at bar had a menu. Anticipated that he would order first. Waited… waited. bartender never acknowledged my presence.waited.well, this is not what I need in my life from a half empty chain restaurant. And apparently they do not need me either. Buy or bye? I said BYE! Nobody missed me because the bartender never acknowledged my presence. PS. Just realized that this is not a Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. go figure.

We went there for dinner with another couple. Three of us ordered steaks — all different cuts. As the three of us cut into our steaks they were grey on the inside, not pink or red. The taste was disgusting. We called our waitress over and told her our issue. She told manager who went into kitchen and found the meat that was delivered and hand cut that morning was indeed rotten. How can a chef proceed to hand cut beef and not notice it is bad? Mgr did not offer any comps. Will NEVER go there again.

The service was so bad we never even made it to a table. Lunch at 1:30. Half empty restaurant and without even looking up or greeting us we were told«gimme fifteen minutes». Spent my lovely lunch next door.

We had a party of 15, so I called ahead of time and spoke with Kayla(sp). She was pleasant and when we arrived had our table ready within 10 min. Of our arrival and the place was packed. Our server was friendly and kept of well with everyone the entire time, he did not screw up our order as I thought he would because it was so many of us. Our food was very good and fulfilling. Everything was cooked exactly how we asked for it and there were many requests and the food was brought to us without even being asked who had what. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp with a house salad and a sweet potato. We ordered a cactus flower(onion blossom) and cheese fries for appetizers. I loved the cactus flower, yummy. Overall, everything was great.

First we put our name on the list and was told about 20 minutes, after about 30 minutes I went in to check and they had marked our name off like they had already say us. Next issue, we had steak and chicken, both were overlooked, tough and dry.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Like many who have reviewed, we went in thinking this was Texas Roadhouse, and once we found out it was not we were a little apprehensive. When I started checking Unilocal and saw the bad reviews I was even more worried, but our group of 8 decided to stick it out. Let me tell you honestly, we were glad that we did. The service was fast, and the food was even better. They bring out bread that is really good, served with cinnamon butter. I had the mild wings with celery and blue cheese, and everything was great. My BIL had the ribeye sandwich, and it was the class of everyone’s meal — it was so good(he let us all help him finish because it was so big). My sis had chicken fingers which were freshly battered and tasted like actual fried chicken. The kids has kids meals that were reasonable, and we were happy to see that steak was on the kids menu. Over all we were very happy with our meal and experience.

Barely eatable. This is not part of the Texas Roadhouse chain. Food was terrible but the waitress was great. We had prime rib, tough chunk of meat. Chicken tenders fair, had to pay extra for Mac & cheese. Dry and tasted like cardboard. Good service, felt bad for her. We did not complain because she was so good to us.

I had gotten a birthday notice from Texas Roadhouse saying I got a free appetizer and had to use it soon or it would expire so I told my wife lets go have lunch and use the free coupon before its expired so any way we went and when we walked in the door we could see a few empty tables so we thought we would get seated right away nope we where told it would be 15 min. So she gave us the little square thing to let us know when a table was ready so we went to the bar and sat there for 15 min and never got waited on but a couple sat down a few stools down from Us and got waited on right away so ok we a alert are table is ready so we get seated and I tell the waitress I have this birthday coupon and she tells me they don’t take them they are not affiliated with Texas Roadhouse so that pretty much broke the camels back we got up and left. This is the second time the place sucked we will never go there agin and I hope it goes out of business

Food was served quick and hot. Cooked correctly and very tasty. Portion was plentiful, and the service was excellent. We were seated shortly after arriving and waitress took our drink order in less than a few minutes.

I went here with my husband, and was greeted by friendly staff. We were brought to a table without peanuts by the bucket on it. I asked the waitress where the peanuts were and she said they were not affiliated with the Texas Roadhouse, they are the Texas Roadhouse Grill, independently owned. It was quite confusing, as the lettering and, the exterior is similar, as well as the rustic interior. I was not used to this. I don’t think in my former home in NY, this type of plagiarism is legal, however I know this is South Carolina, and many things and laws are different here. We ordered salads and a loaf of bread with honey butter was brought to the table. The loaf reminded me of white Wonder Bread, just not good. My sweet tea was fine. Our ribs arrived at the table, and they were over-coated with barbecue sauce like I’ve never seen. I picked up my fork and took a taste of some loose meat, my husband said, let me know how it tastes. The fork went into my mouth and I could feel the skin on my face wrinkle to a prune. In my entire life, I have never tasted such an awful sauce. To me, it tasted like they picked up every barbecue sauce brand in the market, poured it into a pail and stir, then lop it on the ribs as they left the kitchen. I was trying to untwist my face, but I had difficulty. My husband said, bad, huh? I nodded in agreement. We told the waitress that we would not eat those. She asked if there was something else I would prefer and I replied, I no longer have an appetite. She said she’d go talk to the manager and left us there. She flitted about and even took an order from some diners behind me, and did not address us. How long were we supposed to stay? Was a manager or the waitress going to say something to us? Well, no one did, so we up and left. I promise you, I will not be going back if it were the last barbecue restaurant in South Carolina. I think this place is a sham and a fraud. My previous review of this restaurant, was my mix up with the addresses.

One of the most consistent chains all across the country. The couple we were meeting for dinner suggest this place. They said it was their favorite steakhouse in MB. We were seated immediately, great service, ample portions, nice steaks, reasonably priced. It won’t go down as the best I’ve ever had, but you can always count on it being good when you don’t want to take a chance on a new place.
