This is an excellent Italian Restaurant. Great wait staff. Higher priced, but you get what you pay for. My one complaint is that they use styrofoam for take home, takeout! Especially when there are so many options. Even lesser expensive restaurants use recycling containers. I rate this a ****

Giving Rossi’s one star because of JC(our server on a visit on Feb 3) who did a good job. Every other thing about this place wasn’t pleasing to me. The atmosphere is really heavy and the food is even heavier. I had the sausage and peppers. It was strongly flavored by tomato paste, and that was it’s only flavor note. I was able to eat 4 bites before my stomach was done. I tried the Tiramisu and an Italian Pudding for dessert and found them better than the main course, but unremarkable and lacking imagination. Will not be back.

Worst Italian restaurant on the face of the earth. Stay far away!!! 10x worse than even an Olive Graden and about 10x as expensive! Almost feel robbed!

I wish we had visited Rossi’s on our first night in Myrtle Beach instead of our last night in town. Great food great service. A very nice place. We did not leave hungry and can’t wait to return to Rossi’s!

Not our first time at Rossi’s. Will not be returning. Dinner was terrible. Italian style grouper was a very small thin piece of fish .It had a raw white onion piled on top and one slice of tomato. This came with a dinner salad which seemed to be bagged lettuce and had wilted and brown pieces. And pasta with your choice of sauces which I got plain sauce. nothing special. My husbands Chicken Parmesan was so so. It seemed to be deep fried and had a funny taste. I sent my fish back to be cooked as It was watery .no vegetable on plate with fish just the smallest piece of grouper and it was $ 24.95.thank goodness I went for Small portion. I could not even eat it. Service was good

tl;dr — Very slow, but friendly service. Good food, but overpriced. The food was good, I’ll give them that much. However, the service left a lot to be desired, and I’m trying to be nice about how I worded that. I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant where I didn’t have some kind of food in front of me at any given point in time. Be it bread, salad, antipasta, or whatever. My party sat with empty water and wine glasses many times, waiting. Other tables that were seated after us cleared quickly, while my party and other nearby parties still waited on salad. Again, the food was good. I don’t feel like it was worth the price, but it was better than your average Italian restaurant. We made reservations, and we’re seated immediately, which is to be expected. I feel that needing to mention something as simple as that for a positive note says a lot; I’m really reaching here, trying to be nice. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable, they were just painfully slow. The thing is, is not great, but they’ve kind of got a monopoly on Italian food around here.

Pretty good! Had the fettuccine alfredo; others at table had the gluten free eggplant parmesan(which the chef was able to modify to fit to our requirements) and misc salad. They have plenty of gluten free options for those who need that; not so many vegetarian options however. Service was very fast; total time between ordering and getting food was about 5 minutes, and this was on 4th of July.

The food was really less than average. I had their special which was maihi, shrimp and scallops with angel hair pasta in a light garlic sauce. The sauce was so bland. My guest had veal cacciatore. The veal was overlooked. The cannoli was excellent. The service was great.

Rossi’s easily ranks as one of the top restaurants I have personally ever been to. My father has been before on previous trips to myrtle beach and insisted we come try it out as a family. It was beyond excellent. Three out of four of the diners had the blackend steak tips which came with two sauces. Unfortunately I didn’t catch what they were but there was a brown sauce that had a bit of a peppercorn kick to it and a very rich velvety cream sauce which I found to be the best although the other two with the same dish preferred the brown sauce. The steak tips were perfection. The fourth diner had the lasagna and described it as incredible and delicious and his plate was clean which is saying a lot because it was a very large portion. But we must not forget the meal began with delicious fluffy bread with an olive oil and roasted garlic topping. So yummy. We ordered two orders of bruschetta as it comes five pieces to a plate and were so glad we did because it too was beyond exceptional. The house salad with the house creamy Italian dressing was also delicious. I should have inquired if they bottled the dressing for sale. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed from dinner to indulge in the desert options even though the cannoli was taunting me. However we have several more days here in myrtle beach and there will be another trip to Rossi’s for dinner before we leave. That goes to prove how truly exceptional the meal was. Although expensive, the meal and professional service and prompt attention to every detail made it well worth the trip. This will be one of the highlights of our stay.
