Lombardo’s Italian Restaurant

Ate here last year but lord knows we’re going back when we return! Best food I’ve ever put in my mouth!

We went based on a recommendation from a friend while we were in town for a convention. The staff was all very friendly and our waiter was excellent. The portions are large and only one of the four of us finished. I didn’t even have pasta, they had a Mahi Mahi stuffed with crab that was excellent. It had a spinach cream sauce that was very good. My wife had Alfredo with chicken and the sauce was a heavy homemade sweet sauce. The desserts looked amazing and my daughter got a chocolate cake to go, looks like a chocolate lovers dream.

Visited Lombardo’s this eve… I was disappointed. Our waiter was fabulous and the wine perfect. Had difficulty getting my kir (white wine/​cassis) but this ended ok. The calamari was ok but sauce not spectacular. The bread was to die for but the olive oil dipping mixture very boring. The Caesar salad was perfecto. But the main course… my shrimp fettuccine was boring and I could not finish because of the heavy cream coating on the pasta. My husband’s chicken/​sausage fettuccine was too acidic… he could not finish.
All in all, we were very disappointed and will not return. However the waiter (I think it was Chad) was A1 and made the evening somewhat enjoyable

We went here while at a convention because we were looking for something different than the burger place, which is the only thing within walking distance of the hotel. We arrived at Lombardos and we were looking forward to finally having a good meal.
Right off the bat we told the waiter that we were in a relative hurry. Not a huge rush but had about an hour and half tops. The service was very slow. We hoped this would set the tone that we needed to get moving.
i started with a caesar salad with the anchovies. I am glad I got the anchovies. The salad was very lightly dressed and flavorless. There were two small croutons in it.
We also ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. This was excellent so I figured the salad may have been a fluke. I was looking forward to my fettuccine carbonara.
When it arrived, I didn’t like what I saw. Very little chicken. It was overcooked and dry. Fettuccine is already an odd choice for carbonara, but then it made sense. This wasn’t carbonara. I don’t know why they called it that. It tasted like an alfredo and a relatively bland one at that.
The service was very slow and we were so tight on our time, we were very nervous that we weren’t going to make our engagement. We had to get to go boxes and take most of the food to go as we didn’t have time to sit and enjoy it, as it took almost an hour and half just to get the food.
We won’t be returning.

Wonderful attentive service was bestowed by Mark our waiter, who has a friendly, fun personality. We enjoyed the cocktails that were expertly prepared, as well as, the delicious, authentically Italian cuisine. Lovely atmosphere & great wine selection. Just don’t wear your shorts & flip-​flops men, this is a special restaurant, you can do better!

Just had a great meal at Lombardo’s. It wasn’t very busy-​Sunday night in mid-​September. My wife loved her grouper florentine. I had veal parm which was very good. Several people came around to see how we were doing including a more «senior» woman who may be owner. We would come here again.

The moment my family walked in the door, we were greeted by a friendly host, followed by our waiter Otis.
Otis was an EXCEPTIONAL waiter! (I’d ask for his section!)
Amazing service, as well as amazing food.
The whole staff was very friendly!
The food portions are rather large, so go on an empty stomach!

We come to Myrtle Beach yearly but have never visited Lombardo’s before. We went twice this visit because we liked it so much the first time!
The food was AMAZING, we got chicken Alfredo, Shrimp Alfredo, and Chicken Parmesan. Portions were enough to feed two and only around $ 17 – 18 per meal.
Service and ambiance were very nice. Prices quite reasonable. Only one thing I would recommend, desserts were pricey and not huge. If you don’t mind paying $ 10 for a piece of cake, go for it. :)

Amazing food and music. I eat here every year we visit. The salmon maple peach burbon dish is fanastic and the stuffed peppers are like grandma’s

If you don’t mind waiting an hour and a half, with little to no communication from your server, this is the place for you.
I recommend the veal parm, because if you like chicken parm that is what you might get instead of the veal. But no worries. They charge you for the chicken parm and do nothing else to address the lack of food or service you might expect in a restaurant where a party of 4 is at least a $ 100 avg check.

We went here by accident last night, thinking it was an Italian restaurant we had been to before. I had a 3 year old and 7 year old with me. While this restaurant is much fancier than I would normally take my kids too, they were extremely friendly and accommodating to us. Good was excellent and so was the service!

Excellent food, ambiance and service. Live light jazz was playing in dining room. Lasagna was the best I’ve ever had.

Love this place. Have been on each of our last few visits to the area and the food is outstanding, the service quick and helpful and an overall great experience.

Service by the bartender was amazing. He was working his butt off but still made sitting at the bar enjoyable. I had the chicken alfredo and it was great. Creamy and rich, with fresh pasta. It was a little dark in there but I understood it was part of the scene. Will return when in MB.

Fabulous service. Quiet, classy atmosphere. Food was first class. Will definitely go back again. Best Italian restaurant in myrtle beach!

Slow. Here for a pre marathon meal and worried I will not make the start 12 hours after we ordered. Painful.

This place seems like it was at one time a very well known restaurant that went downhill over the years. I lived in Italy for 3 years and read the reviews before coming so I couldn’t wait for some authentic Italian food. Unfortunately, my experience was not all that great. And I felt like I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The lemon drop martini I got was bad. The spinach and artichoke dip was bland came with stale tortilla chips out of the bag. The salad dressing tasted fishy, the croutons were stale the only good thing was the bread.
We waited an hour just for appetizers and salad and damn near another hour for our main course. The sad part is we waited so long for food that we just asked to have it packaged to eat back at the hotel. It was horrible. No flavor the noodles were not cooked the shrimp was undercooked. Talk about disappointing. Save your money you’ll get a better authentic Italian from Olive Garden.

My wife had the shrimp scampi and it had the largest shrimp we have ever seen in a scampi. I had the fruit de mar and it was loaded with shellfish. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. We each could eat only half and could barely finish the leftovers for supper the next day.
The server, Eric, was very friendly, helpful, and attentive.

It’s appearance from the outside is ehh, but once you walk in it looks really nice. The food is amazing!!! And service is very good!
