This place should probably change it’s name to kiss café. Coffee seems to be an after thought in this place. Should a coffee house have coffee stirrers? My guess would be yes. meh coffee

Funky KISS-themed coffeehouse. We had one of their World Famous Frozen Rockuccinos — a little pricy at $ 6.75 with ice cream… but chances are you’re walking around Broadway being a tourist, so now is the time to indulge. :) Very much on the sweet side but definitely tasty.

We were looking for a good coffee place on google and this one had good reviews so we checked it out. Didnt realize it was kiss as in the band KISS. Anyway… fun atmosphere but no place to sit and hang out. Coffee was good.

Definitely a must for coffee drinkers at Broadway on the Beach. Tasty product, friendly service, clean place. Lots of Kiss merchandise and music playing. It is on the pricey side. Was over $ 15 for 2 Rockacinos. Definitely great for tourist but for me definitely not a daily stop.

I’ll keep this short… Stop in once just to say you have been there… Then continue on your way

Are the drinks the best? No. Is it fun to be able to say that you’ve been there? Yes! Lot’s of cool memorabilia to see, touristy atmosphere. Funny souvenirs like panties and such things. Glad I went but there’s no reason to go again.

Yes, I’m a big KISS fan. I was thrilled to get a chance to stop by during a recent family vacation. I loved browsing the memorabilia and stocking up on a few collectibles. While there, I *had* to have a coffee, though I wasn’t in the mood for it. It was more than I like to pay for coffee, but it was tasty. If you want cheap hot brown water, go to a gas station. If you are a «coffee snob», you should enjoy your pick of some specific blends here. The folks working the shop were knowledgeable of both KISS and coffee, which was impressive. From a KISS standpoint, I loved-loved-loved walking around the store. Not just for the sights, but for the music. You’d expect the obvious tunes, but when I first walked up, they were playing«The Oath» from«The Elder». Not something you year often. The song list was VERY diverse from the KISS catalog, and was nice to hear outside of my own home. I heard the store was going to close down soon. That made me sad, but also glad that I was able to get there before it’s gone. Las Vegas would be a perfect location for a KISS Coffeehouse! If you’re in the area, get there before it’s too late!!!

The strawberry-lemonade smoothie(virgin) was really good — and only $ 5! It was such a hot day, that I inhaled it. The brain freeze was so worth it. This was my first/last visit, since the place is closing :-(All items(mugs, t-shirts, toy guitars, posters, etc.) were marked down. Hopefully, they will reopen in a few more cities. I wouldn’t mind trying out more smoothie flavors and food items.

I love KISS so this was definitely a place that I was excited to visit! I didn’t try the coffee but I did get a strawberry banana smoothie which was pretty good. However their souvenirs were expensive even on clearance. There is a sign stating that the store is closing so everything is on clearance but it’s not the clearance that you would expect. It is still a cool experience for any fan.

More fun on the outside than it is on the interior. The kids liked it and the drinks are okay!

Everytime I got to Myrtle Beach to visit my inlaws I stop in for a Rockucinno and a chat with the really friendly boss man. Just for fun, if you ever go in and see some young kid working behind the counter, just ask him/her of Tommy Thayer is working that day! Great place, great vibe, and it’s always a good time!

Coffee is burnt tasting to my liking. If you like Starbucks coffee, this place is for you. I got the iced coffee and my stepmom got the hot coffee. They were medium roast, we both said at the same time tastes burnt(just like starbucks). Really cool to look around and if you are a kiss fan they have more then enough to keep you looking.

As a huge KISS fan I might be biased but oh well. This is better than any Starbucks coffee you have ever had. The coffee is smooth, tasteful, and the flavors you can get are fantastic. The cookies and cream or mint mocha Rockachino are FANTASTIC! If you are a KISS fan you will love the décor if not you might be slightly concerned. Do not fear the staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable about both the band and the coffee. Reasonable prices as well keep me coming back!

I’ll be honest. I am, and always have been, a huge KISS fan, having lived in New York City as a kid. That being said, when I heard that there was a Kiss Coffeehouse in Myrtle Beach, I did not make the pilgrimage immediately to coax my inner demon out. I actually thought that the novelty would literally wear off before I got the chance. Now, six years after opening, the Kiss Coffeehouse remains a staple at the Broadway at the Beach Megaexperience(shop, eat, play, whatever) in Myrtle. My first indoctrination was a fun trip down memory lane as I browsed the memorabilia and traded stories with the staff about my Kiss experiences growing up(I was at Eric Carr’s first show at the Palladium in NYC in 1980). I could probably supplement this museum with some pieces of my own(original Kiss comic books, tattoos and posters from their LPs, you name it, I still got it…) At this is a coffeehouse, I could not leave without trying the coffee, and their signature drink is a flavored«Rockachino.» At about 5 bucks, it’s a bit pricey, but the way I see it, this is part museum, part coffeeshop. The caramel-flavored coffee drink was decadent and did not disappoint. The Mango smoothie we tried was quite good as well. Add a few souvenirs and magnets, and this was a splurge. If you are a Kiss fan, you’ve already splurged at concerts, T-shirt stores and DVD shops, so what’s one more dollar for Gene and Paul?(and a few cents for the rest of them…) If you are a Kiss fan, you do need to see this. The gigantic boots that adorn the front are reason enough, but the coffee is good, so go for it anyway! Lick it up!

I like the outside of this off the wall coffee house, but most things inside the souvenir shop are overpriced.

Terrible chai and mocha. Both drinks were not hot. Way too much flavor in my speciality mocha. Ugly styraphome cups. Nice staff and interesting décor.

This is a cool place if you like the group KISS. There is some really neat stuff in there. Cute trinkets to take to people who are fans. The coffee is good… I like Frozen blended coffee drinks and the one I had was ok— not the best one I ever had but the plastic cup was cool and I saved it. This is the kind of place that you go to, say«yeah I went there it was fun.» And I don’t know if it is worth a repeat trip… we go to the Boardwalk frequently and I have never felt the urge to go back in there for anything. I am a KISS fan so I think that was the only attraction. The guys that work in there are nice, «college kid types» that act cool. It was a couple of bucks more than Starbucks and about the same portions. Go give it a try if you love KISS.

Total tourist trap but if you’re a KISS lover, this is the place for you! When my friend told me about it, I lit up a little… even if I am a Starbucks girl. I absolutely love KISS and love to rock and roll all night! Ok, not really seeing I like to be in bed by midnight but give me some Detroit Rock City any day! They have the standard tourist place souvenirs you can buy-tshirts, magnets, bottle openers, panties that say Lick It Up(heeeeeyo!), coffee tumblers and huge plastic guitars that hold water(or liquor, this would be perfect for the beach). I got an iced coffee, the only thing that didn’t rock was the $ 5 price tag that came along with it. But oh well, I got to see some KISS memorabilia and go back to the 80’s for a hot minute.

This place is a welcome change from the Starbucks in the same area. If you love KISS memorabilia, this is the place for you. The outside of the store lures you in with the platform boots on either side of the store. Then you get inside and see the guitars, the costumes and other KISS memoriblia. The drinks are great, although a little expensive and you are paying for the novelty. But hey, it’s KISS and this is currently the only store in the franchise so it’s worth it!

The KISS Coffeehouse is essentially a Starbuck’s that wants to rock ‘n roll all night and party every day in full face make-up and 8-inch, metal-studded, leather boots. As ridiculous as that initially sounds, this is one of the best name-branded establishments I’ve encountered. Despite not ever having enlisted in the KISS Army, I still enjoyed admiring the band’s memorabilia on display, watching their stage antics on the video monitor, and checking out the creative and outrageous merchandise. The oversized and outrageous exterior design has an amusement park feel to it that befits the band’s reputation. Their house drink is the Frozen Rockuccino; I got mine with French Vanilla flavor. It was awesome. Others in the party had a fruit smoothie and an iced chai. All were very good but, they did not come cheap. The three drinks came to a total of $ 17. In addition to the(expected) high prices, the other down side is that the place simply consists of a counter top — there’s no room for a KISS pinball machine! All in all, the KISS Coffeehouse offers the kind of over-the-top, out-of-the-ordinary indulgent experience that makes a visit to Broadway at the Beach worthwhile.
