I have been here once two years ago and it was very good. A local establishment that takes you away from the tourists traps. Very down home and great «vittles» with a warm atmosphere. I plan to hit this spot again for a great lunch!

I’ve been to Food Depot 2 times for their great breakfast special. It was $ 1.99 and you get 2 eggs (cooked to order), bacon or sausage, and grits and toast. Really good breakfast, and the grits were cooked perfectly and tasted great. They’re open only for breakfast and lunch.
UPDATE: Went for breakfast yesterday and it’s still only $ 1.99, but the price will increase to $ 2.50 on June 16th. Doesn’t matter, it’s still worth the $ 2.50
