Little Jon’s Guide Servie

We can’t say how the experience would have been because Jon (the owner) basically cancelled our trip after we drove all the way up from Dallas and after we spent money on lake licenses. My husband even stayed home from work today to go on this little adventure that never happened. Apparently, Jon’s morning group had not caught their promised 18 fish and they were going to stay out until they did. While we were willing to wait a reasonable amount of time, Jon texted that it would be «better to lose gas money than gas money and a guide». He apparently didn’t think we’d catch much but we were willing to give a try in order to experience fishing and the lake. We tried other guides (since we’d driven over 2 hours to get there) but we unable to find any with openings. A very disappointing afternoon and I’d never suggest anyone try LIttle Jon’s Guide Service.
