I have always loved Hennesseys. No, truly – LOVED it. Circumstances have kept me from being there for some time, however, and so I was so excited when friends suggested we go last night. I was surprised when the server, Honesty, informed us that she was the only server working. On a Friday night. Right? Now to be fair, she did a great job. The food was fantastic. The beers were good. The White Russian was not drinkable. I have no complaint with the food or with the server, but the restaurant was filthy. The same trash can that didn’t work in the men’s bathroom a year ago is still there. The floor was filthy. And only one server in a Friday night? This is a place that has come to accept that it won’t be busy and that, to me, is inexcusable.

I’ve ate here several times over the years. It’s not the greatest place around, but, it’s a nice atmosphere. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible but far from the best in the area. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

On an extremely busy night we arrived to Hennessy’s for dinner. It was our third time there. On our way in another customer told us that they waited forever and still did not eat. We came in because we have always loved the food and atmosphere. Sure enough it was busy with traffic from the symphony. The manager greeted us and explained that they were very busy but encouraged us to stay. He bought us a beer and served us amazing battered mushrooms. Service was stellar and friendly from lachoya! And while the meal was not as perfect as our prior experiences and slightly slower to come from the kitchen. The attitude, atmosphere, service from LaChoya and the manager reflect the amazing business Hennessy’s truly is. Those who left and tried to dissuade others missed out on a lovely experience.

Great place for your Irish side, two areas of seeting to this restaurant– a restaurant side and also an Irish pub. Awesome foood everytime we go. May wa suggest the Gouda cheese sticks, the drunken Irishman sliders and the apple gorgonzola salad as some of our favorites.

Not impressed, took my out of state boyfriend there for dinner, he ordered a well done burger of which came out completely charred burnt, our server was a disaster, she served a table who came in after us not only their drinks before us but also their appetizers and entrees! The manager ended up taking our order because he was kind enough to notice our annoyance (he is the only reason I gave 2 stars) we even had to hunt down our server for our cocktail refills! The manager was extremely kind and trendy/well dressed, staff. not at all tacky stained polos that were outdated, trashy & unkept. not impressed & I will not be returning.

I had an amazing pork tenderloin and my husband had the always delicious bangers and mash. The highlight of our meal was the mussels and clams appetizer. There are several beers on tap. Our waitress today was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I don’t give 5* is because the service is not always great.

Very Solid pub food. The perch special was perfectly cooked, with a fresh lemon, excellent coleslaw and a very cold and cold iced tea with lots of ice.
Friendly server was quick and thoughtful

Another spot I really wanted to love! Very casual yet «Irish vibe» restaurant in a town that doesnt have much to offer. I was enthused to try their fare. Arrived around 1 pm on a Sunday and excited that they were still serving the «breakfast» menu. Hubby and I had reviewed the Unilocal feedback and were intrigued by the Boxty (potato pancake) offerings. I tried the Farmers Boxty and he had one filled with sausage egg and bacon. The gravy on both was fantastic and really made the dish. We enjoyed some delicious Mimosas with our brunch boxtys and felt good about the overall experience, service included.
Unfortunately, about 2 hours later, I experienced some serious food poisoning symptoms that left me in the bed for 24 hours. Ugh… I can only hope that the kitchen takes note and they up their game on cleanliness and sanitation standards.
