Right in the middle of the non-​downtown of Muskegon, probably one of the nicer places to eat, downstairs from the main performance space. Although dead in the middle of the afternoon, still took forever to eat here… but would be nice before or after any shows.

A beautiful and surprisingly nice café inside a grand old theater. Water cascades down a central pillar, serving as a wonderful centre-​piece to a restaurant that already has a wonderful ambience. My glass of white zinfandel was good, and my chicken breast strips with pesto walnut and linguini with vegetables were pretty good. The bread pudding was wonderful. I heard the martini there is wonderful — I wish I had one when I was there.

So it has been approximately 2 years since I’ve dined at City Café, but it is a place I stop in to eat every time I am home.
City Café has some of the best prime rib and flatbread I’ve ever had.
I suggest it to anyone!
