The Habit Burger Grill

I love The Habit! The burgers are great, even with just the beef and bun! I always get The Char Cheeseburger and haven’t had a bad one in all of the times I’ve eaten here. I love their sweet potato fried and Tempura Green Beans. My kid’s chicken nuggets are even tasty and I don’t even like chicken nuggets. The prices are very good $ 3.99 for a kid’s meal & $ 7+ for a regular combo. The location here is clean, but typically busy, because the burgers are so good!

First time here this afternoon and I will definitely be coming here again. Very clean, very fast and friendly service and the burgers are great. Try the Teriyaki Char. You will not be disappointed (unless perhaps, you don’t like good food.) I wish there was one closer to me, but whatever.
Oh and they have pepperoncinis at the little salad bar-​ish thing with their condiments which instantly made me fall in love with this place.

I usually to go a little more on the lo-​cal side here ordering the tuna filet sandwich on wheat with a side salad with lo-​fat Italian dressing. Tempura green beans are pretty good too! There is usually a line out the door at this location, but that is mostly due to the front counter being so close to the door. Line usually moves pretty good. Last couple of times I have been here, seems to be a little decline in service. Seems like they are hiring cheaper labor.

Food is always very good. Not 5 stars because employees not aware of dirty tables, but 2 are having an inappropriate gossip fest while standing at counter. No one wants to hear employees gossiping.

Abby made it happen. My Santa Barbara Cobb Salad was rescued from abondonment with her recommendation of feta cheese over blue cheese.

Used to frequent here but food and service slowly started declining. Visited after a long hiatus and realized I’m not really missing anything. In the battle of burgers, in n out and five guys take the cake for sure. Got a triple charburger and fries. The burger itself just doesn’t have the juiciness or taste that I’m looking for in a burger. It’s just a bland burger (picture I took looks good though). Service itself was also bland. Cashier was somewhat cold honestly. Felt like she was at the end of her shift and rushing my order. In the past there was a really nice manager/​shift leader that actually would get to know you and remember you. Food came out quick considering it wasn’t too busy. Probably won’t be back. Will definitely drive a little further and go to five guys or in n out when I’m in a burger mood

Driving through an area with not the best dining options, it is always nice to see a place you know you will love.
Great location, very clean and plenty of seating.
Service was nice and our food great.
While I do prefer the burgers at In N Out, the fries here are better.
I also love that they have more options, so we usually pass on burgers and my husband gets the tri tip and I get the ahi, either as a sandwich or on a salad, both very good.
Good quality, fair portions and prices, fast food that will not leave you quite as guilty the rest of the day, excellent option in the area!

You can never go wrong with these burgers! I get the chicken sandwich and it is just the same– very good! Husband and I love this spot!
The green beens are the BEST!
Also have a good deal for a cone of ice cream :)

Their hamburgers are way better than in and out and way better than five guys the best I’ve had in Temecula Murrieta area the fries are very good everything is very fresh I need to try the salad and the shake and the other sandwiches can’t wait

If Panera Bread and In-​and-​Out had an illicit affair, The Habit Burger Grill would definitely be the result. This place is modern, welcoming, and ideal for a casual meal… all while enjoying a delicious burger made with super fresh ingredients! You can choose from a variety of burgers and different ingredients, and enjoy their generous condiment bar. You will not find an extensive menu here, but the sandwiches, burgers and shakes will be enough to please your appetite.
Not much else to say… this is a great quick stop to eat a fantabulous burger. Enjoy!

Fairly good place to eat lunch. The onion rings are good and I just noticed they have fried (tempura) green beans. I will try them the next time, they look good. Today I tried the chicken club sandwich but was quite disappointed. It came between grill toasted, and ‘very’ greasy, white bread. Not a fan of tasteless white bread, but probably my fault for not realizing it was a white bread sandwich and failing to ask for a different bun. But — the onion rings were great. Had to get the grease off my fingers in order to write this. I’ve ate here several times and have always enjoyed it — this is my first experience with equating the place to a greasy spoon diner.

I’m not a fan of negative reviews but here it goes… I now know one of the reasons why there was a line out the door for this place… because of the space inside the door they used it for seating which is smart… The service was good, fries were OK, onion rings greasy now for the burgers… On the order there was a mushroom char burger and an original char burger with cheese. You cannot taste the char and they were tasteless as in not seasoned at all.
I’ve been to several burger places in Murrieta and Temecula and they were all better than this place. Almost $ 4 for a tasteless cheeseburger? No! We will never return… Its in a good location near housing developments but people that live here should know better and pay less or a little more for quality that’s within a 5 mile radius. In N out and Five guys have Michelin stars compared to this bad Habit. Go elsewhere…
They do have signs in the window that cooks are needed even though they squeezed 6 in there making tasteless burgers.

Worth every penny! We picked up two burgers and both kinds of fries to go. And even though it took us a while to get home it was all still incredibly great. The quality of their food is far above other burger places. We’ll be eating here again very soon.

husband ordered tritip sandwich and which is good, too. onion rings was delicious. everybody was nice. will be back sometime! recomended!

You guys used to be 5 stars plus, but now you’re 1 star or less?
How does an order which is phoned in take more than 10 minutes to receive after standing in line for more than 10 minutes to pay for it? Unbelievable! People who «ordered» in line before me received their food before me? Totally unacceptable with a lack of explanation to boot? Looks like your competitors across the parking lot, The Hat, will get my business from now on. At least when I call in my order there it is ready and waiting for me while I pay!
People call in orders because they are pressed for time. Now after taking the time to call the order in ahead, walking across the parking lot to pick it up, standing in line to pay for it, standing around to wait for the order to be cooked like I just ordered it, and walking back to work we have less than 5 minutes to eat? The Habit you need to work on is attention to details on customer orders. And why bother taking phone orders if they’re going to be processed as a customer who stood in line to place an order? Absolutely Horrible! Bad Habits are easier to avoid…

Great fresh burgers & fries.
I recommend the Santa Barbara meal: sour-​dough cheeseburger with avocado.
$$$$, not cheap.
Clean restaurant.

Better than 5 guys & In/​Out, but not as good as Fatburger.

Love this place! One of our favorite burger joints! The food is always good never disappoints! Affordable! Service is always great, even when they are busy. Always clean.

My first time eating here … Yay!
I heard they’re always busy during lunch which is why I was hesitant to go as my lunch break is only 30mins. I wanted to try a new place so we went here.
They took our orders pretty quickly. I got the chicken club sandwich by itself and water.
My chicken was pretty bland that I had to add a little salt and some jalapeños to give it a little pop. The grease that was oozing out of my sandwich scared me to a point where I only ate half.
I would come back and probably just order the salad next time.

Great burger, good price. It’s a lot of food, they don’t skimp out like some other burger places. Every bite is absolutely delicious.

I just tired this place and oh my goodness, its AMAZING. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I got a customized burger and they made it so amazingly! alright, ready?
its a veggie burger with swiss cheese and avocado. cut in half because its so big. b But oh my goodness, delicious!
I know it may sound like, wow you have to get meat, but really try the veggie burger, its actually pretty dankolicious.
Their mushroom burger is amazing too.

Lastly a must get is the strawberry limeade, i passed it up my first time, it was a regret.
Oh my bad another lastly, their shake is great dessert! You can definitely tell that they had spent time to make it amazing.
